The Grass Is Always Greener, And You Don't Really Know What You Have Until It's Gone!   Foodperson
The review title I've written here is the last line of monologue that the main character states in Conker's Bad Fur Day. Released at the butt-end of the Nintendo 64's life cycle, people, like the quote says, didn't really knew what they had the Nintendo 64 until it was under the shadows of the Nintendo 64. Actually, scratch that; people didn't knew they had Rareware on Nintendo gamers' sides until it started producing inferior games on the GameCube and then Xbox.
Even the rest of Conker's Bad Fur Day seems like this: it's a short game, half of it composed of cut-scenes and the other half gameplay, that is a heck of a ride the first time through, and it leaves the player begging for more. Whereas good games like Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey Kong 64 make you feel just a little fatigued from collecting things, Conker's Bad Fur Day never gets old, even as the jokes don't get funny anymore after the umpteenth playthrough--and even that is debatable--because of the sheer amount of variety in this game! One moment, you're jumping across platforms, and the next thing you know, you're rolling a ball of poo, or even fighting a pile of poo...that sings! This game never ceases to amaze almost all players (and yes, supperflipper76 with his YouTube video "Why I Hate Conker's Bad Fur Day" is completely wrong--that guy wishes he made Conker's Bad Fur Day), especially someone like me who is into video game development and taking college courses on it. It is my personal inspiration to make a game just like this--raunchy, disgusting, somewhat obnoxious, but ultimately fun despite it being a little more British than most Americans are used to, much like a good album from Cubanate--and inspire another generation of gamers, even if it is going to be a niche audience.
Actually, that is exactly what this game is: a cult classic. The game only sold 50,000 around its launch window, so with the price of $70 (and it still sells for about that high on eBay), Rareware managed to earn only $3,500,000 on this game...and they must have spent much more on the game considering the production levels of this game! But hey, at least it's more than what Conker made in the end of the game! ("Millionaire!")
But is this game any good? Well, I only really write reviews for games (unless IGN decides to hire me of course, ha ha) if I really like a game or really despise it. Fortunately, this game fits the former category, so I am about to gush about this somewhat forgotten game that everybody, including the CoD kiddies, should play on Vizzed.com. It does have faults, and the game is definitely not perfect, but only because Rareware had to iterate quickly just before the Nintendo 64 got too unpopular, and I'll explain why in this review:
Overview:
?? Though the game itself doesn't mentioned this, Conker is supposedly 21 years old by the time the game starts, so naturally, he goes to a bar to drink plenty of alcohol with his friends, who are off to a war against the Tediz. However, Conker has had one drink too many and wanders off aimlessly in a futile attempt to go home but ending up in a place that is covered in crap. Meanwhile, the Panther King almost literally cries over spilled milk as he complains about the table not being stable enough for his glasses of milk, forcing Professor Weasel von Kripplesack to come up with a solution.
As Conker tries to figure out a way to go home, while learning new tricks and begrudgingly helping others along the way, the Professor comes up with a stupidly brilliant, brilliantly stupid solution: find a short, red squirrel to fill in the gap in the broken leg of the table! So the Panther King sends off his incompetent minions to do his bidding...and naturally fail as the witty and clever Conker gets away with calling himself an elephant rather than a squirrel, "according to the description" given to those buffoons. More things happen to Conker as he explores the parts of the world unknown to him before, until he eventually meets up with his girlfriend Berri to perform a heist and untimely face the Panther King.
Yes, the premise of the game is just as ridiculous as it sounds, but the game does a very good job selling itself as a comedy game, meaning that only snobbish critics unlike myself would try to take it seriously...well, up until the very end, which is tragic and worthy of discussion outside of reviews so as to not give away too many spoilers...even for a ten year-old game. At least part of the ending is not hard to figure out on your own, since it's pretty much already shown in the introductory cutscene, but trust me when I say that it will surprise you a little bit! Anyway, the story itself, unlike most games, allows for more creative gameplay than most platformers, rather than detracting from gameplay, which I'll explain in the next section:
Gameplay:
?? After a lengthy introductory cutscene that you cannot skip (unless you played through the game once), you start off drunk, walking very slowly and not being able to jump very high, until you learn about "Context Sensitive" pads that allow for more variety in gameplay, ranging from obtaining an item that you need to earning a new ability, to riding an animal to complete the next objective. Other than that complexity, the game is basicly Super Mario 64 if it turned to South Park with animals, but without any sight of Cartman...sort of. The game never sacrifices the story, and the story almost never sacrifices gameplay, and because of the sheer amount of variety that's mostly done well, the game is more impressive than Rareware's own Banjo-Tooie! While Banjo and Donkey Kong have mini-games separate from the actual gameplay, Conker has those diversions integrated extremely well into the main portion of the gameplay without it being too spontaneous like in Duke Nukem Forever. Actually, it's a lot like Duke Nukem 3D in that respect, only better-integrated.
The only issues with some of the levels are the water level (of course) and some of the controls in said levels. Conker controls like a squirrel could possibly move in a 3D video game environment, and while that is fine for more open areas, in tighter platforming sections it could get out of hand if the player tries to rush things through. A little bit of patience, and having a zen-like ability to fight the camera, are what you need for those sections. But other than that, the levels are well-designed and thought-out even if there are repetitious parts like "kill boss by doing something three times". It all makes sense when you actually play it, which you should do it right now.
Graphics:
?? Perhaps more impressive than the gameplay, much like Crysis, is the graphics. This is the only Nintendo 64 game that has true facial animation in the main character, as well as other characters to an extent. The only thing "fake" about Conker's animation is the eyes, which look like they are painted in much like in Mega Man 64, but other than that, you can see the model make faces like smiling, frowning, and the like. Rareware worked very closely with Nintendo to push the Nintendo 64 to its limits without having abysmal framerates like in Perfect Dark and Banjo-Tooie, without ever using the 4MB Expansion Pak. Not to mention, there are clean-looking, well-placed textures everywhere, and the draw distance is just as impressive as in Banjo-Tooie, again without the same framerate issues.
Actually, the game does drop in frame count at times, but you don't really notice it because the game is programmed in such a way that the character movements are not tied to the framerate like in Banjo-Tooie, meaning that you don't get slow motion. This programming technique could get out of hand if the framerate drops too low, which can cause imprecise platforming and frustration, but thankfully Conker's Bad Fur Day never seems to have that problem, and it is also not even susceptible to having the same game-breaking glitches that Donkey Kong 64 has.
Audio:
?? Equally as impressive as the graphics is the audio, which perfectly fits with what's going on in the game. Presented in Dolby Surround sound and using MPEG-3 compression techniques (I know, I sound old), the game has fantastic audio for almost every object, every character, and almost every level. You can probably tell that the character voices are compressed to fit the cartridge if you hear it closely enough, but the voice acting is so good anyway that you ignore it completely! I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that Robin Beanland worked on the soundtrack all by himself, so there aren't as many tracks as in most other Rareware games, but there is a ton of variety in the soundtrack to encompass the sheer craziness of the game! And, of course, Chris Seavor does all of the male character voices, which proves his talent as both a voice actor and junior game designer. Dolby should be pleased with this game, and it should post it in its portfolio of "games that are made a crap-ton better by Dolby"!
Depth:
?? As mentioned before, the game has a lot of variety, but it is short. It is certainly more replayable in my opinion than something like Banjo-Kazooie, especially with its fantastic and equally varied multiplayer mode. But the setup of the game is rather simple even with the sheer variety, so it is not quite as deep as Perfect Dark, yet that does not stop me and others from enjoying the game.
Addictiveness:
?? Very. A game with a well-written story that rivals what a South Park movie would be, fun gameplay that makes you want to know more about what happens next, and a multiplayer mode that rivals Goldeneye 007, I would not be surprised if the game manages to sit in your Nintendo 64 beyond its measly 10-hour campaign. I managed to clock in over 40 hours into this Nintendo 64 game, which is almost half as high as my playtime of Banjo-Kazooie (thought admittedly, that was more because it was difficult for me as a kid to complete, rather than its length or replayability). It's a shame that its Xbox port doesn't have as good of a multiplayer, but this version gets more replay value because of it!
Difficulty:
?? The game gradually ramps up in difficulty in a pretty natural curve. It starts off easy and almost holding your hand without being too condescending to the player (but giving him or her a good laugh or too in the process), then builds up in challenge and intensity in each level. The War levels, especially, feel like the culmination of everything that is learned up to that point without it being contrived like in other platforms, as good as some of them are. There are frustrations with controls and some level design confusion here and there, but for the most part, the difficulty is just right.
Conclusion:
?? I did mention a lot of other Rareware games in this review, but in a lot of ways, Conker's Bad Fur Day feels like a culmination of all the past efforts of Rareware, ranging from mostly tight platforming from the Banjo games, shooting from Jet Force Gemini and Goldeneye 007, racing from some other obscure Chris-and-Tim-Stamper production pre-Rareware, and their lessons mostly learned from what they had done before. Even if an incorrect YouTuber named flipperboy76, or whatever his name is, mentions that Conker "got lucky" and made Rareware shift away from collect-a-thon games, which subsequently took away from what made Rareware a great video game company, I have to (dis)respectfully disagree with him because the other games since Conker's Bad Fur Day are like the obvious cash-grabs by Microsoft for profit rather than actual works of art that have actual effort and man-hours put into it. Conker's Bad Fur Day is Rareware's final masterpiece and should not be ridiculed by some cowardly YouTuber who has the nerve to shut down comments of his own video--if I can take criticism for liking this game, and he can't for disliking it, then people like me deserve to carefully explain just how much of an idiot he is. Conker is not the cause of Rareware's demise, but their lack of vision afterward did.
Now, if you excuse me, I'm going to mourn the loss of Rareware while listening the the score at the end of this game, then proceed to hate on the latest Killer Instinct, then go play some more Conker's Bad Fur Day.

Drunk, violent, foul Squirrel with a huge bladder   jlove92
By far one of the most addicting games I’ve ever played for
any Nintendo Console, maybe as far as any game I’ve ever played.
Graphics:
Considering it was made for Nintendo 64, I think the
graphics are amazing. Not only that but, the game offers many characters-
squirrel, bear, raptor, cave man, etc. I love the details on wardrobe, weapons,
scene, and of course the dialogue. My favorite graphic is at the beginning, Conker cutting
the Nintendo logo in half with a chainsaw- nice way to start the game!  Really good graphics for a ’64; I’m giving it
an 8 just because I would have liked more details when playing outside in the
open field. I like this graphics better than Super Mario 64.
Sound:
I love the music; it goes very well with the game. I
particularly like the “distressed” noise that each character makes when running,
it makes me a bit paranoid that I’m being followed. Love the noise the baseball
bat makes when you’re trying to crush your opponents head. Then, there’s the
glorious Bazooka noise letting you know that you just blew up your enemy to
pieces. Best sound though? Definitely while in Mini-Games- using the restroom
and killing your opponents with your own pee. That is definitely a nice touch! Oh,
yes, the sizzling sound of some raptor eggs being cooked in a giant pan after
running through ruins to find the nest and make it past momma raptor. Just great
sound all throughout that really engages you as a gamer.  I am giving it 9 as I would have liked more
music throughout the mini games. I have played mostly Mario and Star Wars games for Nintendo consoles and well these games tend to be more genetic and keep everyone happy approach so, the music selection for this game was completely new to me and I loved it.
Addictiveness:
I would say it is extremely addicting. Most addicting games
have one-two reasons to drive you to addiction. When it comes to Conker Bad Fur
Day, I think this games has every reason as to why it is addicting- multiple
characters, engaging story mode, humorous, a bit graphic, multiple weapon
selection, hidden features and finishing moves (Matrix move- shoot enemies with
two guns mid air), great selection of mini games all- Heist, Raptor, Total War,
and much more- all giving you different ways to execute your opponent(s), and
multiplayer option- love playing this game with 3 other players- absolute
slaughter! I play this game over and over.
Story:
Story mode, Conker is drunk at a bar and calls his
girlfriend and gives her some lies as he proceeds to sing at the bar. I like
how you can press B and give Conker an Alka-Seltzer to wipe out his hangover-
shows director Chris Seavor and his team put a lot of thought behind this game
to not only further extend the out of the box perception of Rare but, to truly
engage the gamer into every aspect of the game even during story mode which is
something that now is so popular for games of all consoles. I used to hate
story mode and used to take a break when characters where engaging in dialogue
but, this game made me look forward to it just to see how much more creativity
was put into this game. Well Story mode takes you in a wild chase playing as
Conker and on a mission to find his girlfriend- I guess goes to show that
staying late in a bar drinking with your buddies doesn’t always end well.
Depth:
As compared to new games, the main story itself does not
have that much depth. However, depth is created through great characters as
Conker undergoes his mission: The Great Mighty Poo- a big opera-singing, pile
of feces who loves sweet corn, Tediz- a robotic evil teddy bear determine to
take over the world, Professor von Kripplespac- a Prussian weasel battlefield commander
and scientist, Sunflower- a large breasted sunflower for whom Mr. Bee left his
wife for (funny story of how Mr. Bee becomes basically a bum after leaving
Queen Bee), Heinrich, a parody from the film Aliens created by the Professor,
and last but, not least, the evil Panther King.. Each of these characters has a story within
the main story mode and all play a key role in beating this game. What I like most
is that the story mode also includes a war- Milk Wars- when long ago, panthers
and the oldest squirrel family, Kulas of Conk, allied against the weasels.
Power then, got to King Panther and well he chopped off the legs of Weasel King
and took over his kingdom while betraying his allies and banished the Kulas of
Conk. I love that this war plays a key role throughout the game. Also, I really like how Rare designed this game for mature audiences and
incorporated concepts that were happening at that time (Alien Film) as well as
things we used to frown so much upon at the time- foul
language, drug and alcohol usage, and excessive violence- of course in a
humorous and safe for all way. It’s a great story mode that is easy to follow and helps to also explains some
of the concepts behind the Mini Games (Heist, Total War).
Difficulty:
For me, it isn’t as hard as games I am used to today but,
nevertheless, it has its difficulty. For instance, Mini-Games are not as easy.
While playing Raptor you really have to be very agile and keep your distance
when fighting as cave man against a huge momma raptor, Tediz have great eye coordination
and aim so beware or your head will be blown up, and the story mode can be a
bit challenging at times. I’ve experience the most trouble when aiming a
Bazooka using the PC Keyboard- I am so used to analogs. But, all in all the
difficulty within this game whether in story mode or mini games makes you play
the game even more as opposed to just quit so I think it was a really good
balance.
Overall
I love this game and it is the reason why I came across
Vizzed. I would recommend this game to anyone. I absolutely love the amount of
time, effort, detail, creativity, social content, and crude humor included.
Definitely a must have when considering Nintendo 64. Now, my rating of this game compared to that of newer consoles would be about 2-3 points less for each category but, staying within Nintendo 64, this is among my favorite games for that console.

Don't be fooled, This ain't no kids game...   RedHotToddy
"Sigh" 2001, This was a really sad year for us, why you ask? It's because this was the very last year of Nintendo 3D game console the Nintendo 64, I hated to see this console go, but just then Rare entertainment decided to work their magic and bring us a 3D adventure game that is fun and hilarious at the same time! What is this game? This is Conker's bad fur day! Let's jump right into this big violent cartoony world!
Story-7/10
The game opens up with our favorite orange squirrel conker sitting evilly on his thrown with a mad face holding a cup of milk, And all of his friends are beside him, He then tells us how all of this is happening to him, It started off yesterday as he says, which is what he calls a bad fur day. We then jump into how It happens, Conker is hanging out at his local bar called the cock and plunker, He is having a fun time as usual, but then He has to go outside and throw up, he then has a hangover, then he falls down and is literately knocked out. So That is it for the story, Let's get it on everyone!
Gameplay-8/10
Conker's bad fur day is your typical action adventure game, You control conker through Big enormous worlds doing quests and whatnot for about everybody there. At times Conker will have to stand on these big pads with the letter B on it to trigger a certain effect, for example, in one scenario Conker will have to get past these guards, he will then have to stand on the pad and press B in order to pull out his slingshot and shoot at them to get across, now be aware that in order to get access to new areas in the game, you will have to collect these wads of money with eyeballs, they are hidden high and low in each world, so make sure you find them or else! You won't get to access new places! If there is one thing I love about this game, It is the humor, Do not be fooled, this may look like a cute little kid's game but no It is not, there I alot of blood, swearing, and other adult stuff. This is a huge departure from the Kid friendly rare titles like Banjo, DK, etc. Oh wait, they also made perfect dark and goldeneye, I wouldn't say those are kid friendly games. But DK and Banjo are! The game also parodies alot and I tell you ALOT of action movies, such as saving private Ryan, matrix, heck! Even the opening scene is a homage on Clockwork orange!
Graphics-9/10
The graphics in this title are simply put AMAZING, All the worlds levels and locales that you will be exploring are HUGE, beautiful, and absolutely stunning and appealing to look at! As for the characters, they look pretty nice as well, Conker is an orange squirrel with a blue jacket and high tops, Birdy the scarecrow is your typical lazy scarecrow that teaches you new gameplay mechanics, and so on. There is also blood, And lots of it! Such as this level were you are controlling a dinosaur and you must bite everybody's heads off, It is just plain gruesome and awesome to look at! The HUD, while not always present on the screen is pretty self explanatory, the left top hand corner of the screen shows your health measured by chocolates, And the top right hand corner shows how many lives you have left. Good job again rare!
Sound-9/10
Another high point of this adventure, the sound. All the songs you will be hearing in this game are very very catchy and nice to hear, as for the characters voices, this is probably the best part of the game! In particular, I have adored conker's sarcastic dry voice the day I heard it! I also like It when the money wads scream "Hey over here!" at you when you are approaching them. As for the sound effects, they are pretty sweet too, when you fall from a big height, you will hear conker's bones crack, and there are also a bunch of Bangs, kabooms and everything else you expect from a game like this. And The great mighty poo is the best part of this whole game! Except for when they censored It out in the XBOX remake of this game, dang Microsoft!
Addictiveness-8/10
Don't ask "Are you ever going to play this game again?" Of course I am! This game has been such a childhood memory for me the day I bought it! So why would I shelf this game? I remember playing the multiplayer with my friends alot because how much fun we had shooting eachother!
Depth-7/10
A big long adventure, one that will mostly take you about 4-8  hours to beat at least, considering you have collected as much extras as you can, There is also the multiplayer mode where you can play as the weasels and teddies and run around a big open world doing stuff such as stealing things from eachother and bringing it to your base, or just shooting eachother for the heck of It! This is a game that will last you a long time!
Difficulty-6/10
Conker's adventure was fun, but one big problem, It can get flipping hard! I remember actually screaming at certain scenarios because how frustrating they were, but other then that, The game shouldn't give you that much trouble after that! I mean It is rare? So what to expect? Easy games? No! We want hard challenging games where sometimes you think to yourself "Is this boss even possible?"
Overall-9.5/10
You must buy this game! It is the greatest game you can ever get on the N64, I gave this game a 9.5 because how much fun It offers and the amount of humor there is to go with it! So buy it now, you will not regret it!

My All-Time Favorite Game   cooldragon1990
Paper Mario is considered one of my favorite games. Conker's Bad Fur Day is consider my All-time favorite game in existance. Though the game can get pretty difficult, in a messed up sort of way, the difficulty is what makes it a classic. Rare was responsible for bring this game after kiddie classics like Banjo Kazooie were released. Conker pretty much surpassed Banjo Kazooie and had adult humor/violence and themes.
If I could I would rate it higher but 10 is still good. There are some scenes in this game that are shocking for an N64 game to have. Sex, drugs and a certain kind of humor that you are forced to watch for 5 seconds. Lets just say it involves prune juice and leave it at that.
Though story mode is short (if you know what you are doing) there are still features to keep you entertained for hours. Multiplayer is surprisingly one player friendly and extremely enjoyable. Despite being a comedy, the ending is shocking but I heard a rumor that the ending that was considered was worse then what happend. Alot of movie references will remind some of you of classic movies.
I like everything so the only real complaint I have about this game is the story's short time frame. Conker was in other games before he had his bad fur day, including Conker's Pocket Tales for the GBC and a playable character in Diddy Kong Racing. Pocket is a 100% toned down version and meant for younger audiences. I am not the biggest fan of racing games, but I have played Diddy Kong Racing just not that far into it.
It could be me, but after awhile of playing this game, I forget I am playing an N64 game. They made a remake/port for the Xbox, and while some people like it, I have a lot of gripes about it. Better graphics doesn't always mean a better game. In this one, only major language and one useage of the S word are bleeped. In remake only mild language is left in. There is a boss fight in this game that is what many people consider the greatest part of this game.
They censor that song in the remake. I realize that you can still be funny without cursing but why censer everything? I just couldn't get involved. I don't have an Xbox or any new system. My Wii broke but that was the only system I had that was new. I saw a longplay of Live and Reloaded. I guess I am a sucker for the original.
In short, this game is the greatest I played, and on the list of games I could play forever. Definitly buy or download just play this gem of a game. It does contain Adult humor and violence so be mature or if not that, then handle the mature content in some way without complaint.

Bad Fur Days can be good too.   legacyme3
Here's another Leggy Review, and I review Conker's Bad Fur Day for the N64
Graphics:
I think the graphics were pretty amazing for an N64 game, it sure came a long way from Super Mario 64 where everything looked so blocky.
Sound:
I think this was one of the better parts of the game. All the sound fit each area, and the music you heard wasn't that bad for the system.
Addictiveness:
I still play this from time to time on my N64 at home. The game is fun, and even if you beat it, you have reason to play again and again, because the game is a nice stress release game.
Story:
Call me pessimistic. At the start I liked the story, Conker is drunk, trying to go home... but then the basic outline gets a tad cliche (although still staying hilarious and individual). Basically you have to "find Berry" and embark on "an epic quest" to get her back.
Depth:
Not a lot of side quests, but multiplayer is fun if you are playing it on the system. (RGR isn't able to do netplay, which is why I rate it lower) The game is a little consuming, and will eat hours of your time.
Difficulty:
So far the hardest game I have reviewed. Conker's Bad Fur Day had moments where I was actually getting stuck.
Overall
It's a great game, one you must own. Renting is NOT an option, once you beat it, play it again and again. Truly one of the lasting classics on the Nintendo 64.

One seriously, drunk squirrel...   Kyle!
Oh yeah, it's happening, after a long absence of making reviews I am back. Today I am reviewing Conker's Bad Fur Day, and before you play this game I recommend being at least 13+.
So the game begins in a cut scene showing Conker "get tanked (Drunk)" and is lost on his way home and ends up going on a long, censored, very censored, funny, journey.
Graphics: ( 9 ) This is the N64, this game looks great for the N64! I cannot stress how good the textures look. Now I don't care if you think my thoughts and opinions are "BS," But I don't care! This is MY review! The graphics were superb at it's time where if you didn't have either a N64 with Mario games and a GameBoy you simply weren't "cool." Just like back in 2007 where if you didn't have Xbox Live and Halo 3 you were a "loser." However, the gameplay sometimes wasn't as fun due to glitchy textures, do if you hate flaws when it comes to graphics I don't recommend this game to you.
Sound:  ( 5 ) Oh my gosh! The voice acting was great, but the sound effects were annoying where when you had to do something for a character (Usually a character stuck or trapped) and when you were having a hard time getting to something you'd hear them repeatedly curse at you. REMEMBER--- this game is MATURE! This game contains Sexual References, Blood and Gore, Language, use of Alcohol, and drugs! However sometimes (Again, another glitch), the sound would glitch in and out and would make screeching sounds, glitch or not--- my computer's speaker suck.
Addictiveness: (5) I wasn't what you can call addicted, but there were some things I would personally make a save state for a replay due to it being fun. However many other parts of the game just made me rage, but I'll get back to me raging in the difficulty section of this review.
Story: (10) This story had me laughing and forgetting the game's issues. But you have to remember, my dad, unfortunetly taught me lots of those jokes and I've had the talk-- I know these jokes. But this game is still inappropriate for younger gamers. Even if it's Nintendo's console that doesn't mean they won't let a game with some "That's What She Said" jokes be left out. The story (I guess I'll repeat it) is about a squirrel named Conker who get's really drunk and gets lost and cannot find his way home. The moral of this story kids: Don't get drunk unless you have someone sober to take you home.
Depth:  ( 10 ) DANG! This game is pretty long, I mean, there's tons of things to do and lots of characters to meet and talk to.  The depth was crazy for a N64 game (Well, I think Legend of Zelda OoT was longer) and had humor, something we ALL want in a game. I hope Microsoft is taking notes on that last part of my sentence!
Difficulty: (10) What makes gamers rage more than anything? Platformers, next to annoying 11 year olds with mics Online. This game was hard even with a Gamepad and had many moments where I constantly had to switch between my Gamepad and keyboard for my laptop. There was a scene where you had to get to the top of what seemed to be a sewage pipe and the sewage would rise up and up and you had to get to the top before it took you to the bottom.
Overall rating: (7.2) This game's hard platforming levels and poor controls are made up for in humor and story with humor! As much as I seem to hate this I hate Digimon waaaaay more than this actually. I would recommend this to any gamer who is looking for a game with good humor, and wants to take a break from all those Pokemon Roms in The Retro Game Room! ~ Kyle Parker Griffith/ Vladimir Torov Tourshev

Conker's Bad Fur Day   SpyKnightShooter
Conker's Bad Fur Day, Another N64 Classic. Conker's Bad Fur Day Is An Excellent Platformer, But It Didn't Sell Well Unfortunately. If You Ever Wanted A Friendly Looking Game With Blood,Violence,Destruction,Movie Joke Moment's And The Ability to pee on people Then This Game Is For you.
Conker's Bad Fur Day Began As A Cute Platformer called "Conker's Quest" in this game you would have to collect 100 house gifts that were stolen by evil hoodlums (I think thats how you spell it) You would Be Able to Play as Conker, A squirrel who uses physical attacks. or berry, who raises animals to fight for her as long as they were kept well fed, However People Criticized Rareware For Making another cute Platformer since Diddy Kong Racing was said to be released soon during Conker's Quest it was pushed to October 26'th 1998 Then In January 2000 Nintendo Announced That Conker would Be Part of the nintendo lineup under the name "Conker's Bad Fur Day" Then the press received an Image of conker with bad fur, Many People Thought this was a April fools joke They Were Wrong Very Very Wrong, At E3 2000 Rare Announced That Conker Wouldn't Be The Cute Little Platformer From 1997 Instead Became What is Known as today as "Conkers Bad Fur Day" (It Even Rhymes) Anyway That's The Story Of How The Game Was Made Now Lets Talk About The Actual Game.
Conker's BFD Starts Out with Conker Being Drunk In A Bar Then Tries To Find His Way Home But Then Takes A Left Instead of a Right Which Led Him To A Scarecrow Named "Birdy" Which Then Give Him some pills To help him out with being so drowsy then after that you escape the grassland area you were in then after that its just smooth platforming. The Platforming is relatively easy but then gets extremely hard First Your Helping out bees then the Next thing You are in a war with teddy bears,It Doesn't Stop There There Are Some Amazing Cut Elements I will Only Tell You this One because i haven't completed the beta campaign You will get too see a Pikachu Tail in Conkers Bad Fur Day!, There are also Some Hilarious Pop Culture references,Like The Classic Matrix Thing,Then In One Level You Pee To Save your Girlfriend, Now To the multiplayer there are some multiplayer modes like Deathmatch where you Play as Teddiz Or The Squirrels And Kill Eachother And Race Mode Where you Obviously Race.
I Give This Game An Overall rating of 9.4 It Is AMAZING YOU SHOULD PLAY IT LIKE RIGHT NOW.

conker the epic squirrel   sonamy544
Wow. I remember this game. Boy was it fun. This game was epic back in my day. The graphics are one of the best and this game is one heck of a masterpiece.the sound is a work of art and its just as addictive as the game. The story is hilarious and the game is so long they probably used up all the space on the cartridge.the difficulty is very hard. There are some minor glitches I have encountered. Like the beginning when you first start the game and you pull out the frying pan. Make sure the key is against the door and then hit it. You will open it and automatically die. Overall, this is a 10.

Conkers bad fur day review   Mr. Skeletal
Conker bad fur day has amazing graphics if you compare it to super Mario 64. Sound,Conkers bad fur day has the best music I have ever heard of on the n64,I can tell that rare took a lot oftime when they were making the sound and voice for conkers bad fur day. Addictiveness, this game is very addicting and I would play this game any day. The story, the story of this game is long funny and one of the best stories ever in a video game. The Depth of the game is very long and the reason why the game is so long is because the game is 64 mega bites.the difficulty, conkers bad fur day is mainly hard because of the camera but even if the camera was fixed the game would still be very hard.

Great game!!   pdaddy123
Wow well what can I say about this game besides its incredible, best game for Nintendo ever!
It deserves a 10 because this game is so original, funny, and addictive. Hours of fun play, so many different types of levels ranging from peeing on rocks while drunk to being a soldier in WW2
It is gory and has alot of bad language but that's what makes it fun right, also it has this really fun multiplayer mode where you can have 6 vs 6 capture the flag battles with machine guns, swords, and snipers, but only with CPU players so that sucks
Overall this game is really fun and I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as I did so play it and see for yourself

Conker's Bad Fur Day Box Description

The day after his 21st birthday bash, Conker's sporting the worst hangover ever, and he just can't seem to find his way home. Prepare to stagger through randy, raunchy, raucous scenarios crammed full of bad manners, twisted humor, and graphic bodily functions. Unless you're a fan of violence, foul language, and racy innuendo, you'd best steer clear of this one.

I've always wanted to try this game. I'm a little skeptical of how I'm going to configure my Xbox controller to work with the N64 controls, though...

I owned this game so long ago. Can't believe it sells for almost $500 on Ebay when buying from Nintendo. Great game, wish they added it to the games to play with WiiU! Has anyone played Reloaded for Xbox yet?
