Battle Begin!!!   The Star of Mus..
Ok now I have always loved the smash bros series. Fighting as so many different characters and on so many stages really makes the game interesting. This one added many new characters brought back some old favorites and overall made a great game. So lets get started shall we?
Graphics: 10
As with many of the new games made for the 3DS graphics has been upgraded. All the characters look crisp and ready for a fight. The fighting is intense and fast and even that was well made. Being the first smash bros. game on a handheld system it really turned out well in this area. Even the stages look great.
Sound: 10
I love game music and this one is no exception. Being that many tunes came from other games that I like it just made it better for me. I'm constantly humming along with the game. Catchy tunes around every bend. Some sounds were new but still had the feel of the originals (remixes) and the truly new sounds added were pleasant and at times creepy surprises.
Addictiveness: 9
Really with smash bros games you don't ever really replay them. They have so much to do that if you can unlock every character and obtain every trophy.... Well I certainly would not erase that! But that is not to say that it can't be. Some might want to redo that for a challenge. But I would simply fight on and not worry about getting new stuff. Just enjoy what I have achieved. Then again I never have been able to get that far even in melee...
Story: 6
Now this one I could easily put at zero do to the story or lack there of... But while there is no real connected story like in Brawl, it still has a flow to it. Unlock this by doing this over here or obtain this trophy by beating this guy. It simple and effective. It may not move you to tears but that's just the style of the game. Now even with this said I rated it lower because I personally like a real connected story-line, but I can still appreciate this style as well. It is a nice change of pace. All this is, is my opinion.
Depth: 10
Ok if you have ever played any of the smash bros games you know how much there is to do. At time you may think it is impossible to get everything done. But that's what makes it so much fun. It feels like it will never end. Even if you could collect every trophy beat everything and unlock everything, you could still fight on. On your own against the CPUs or against friends and people around the world. There is always something to do.
Difficulty: 10
Ok well I rated it a 10 but really you set your own level of play. Make it ridiculously easy at level 1, or make it overwhelmingly tough at level 10. Either way you are at the level you are ok with. So for those not sure what to do make it easier and for those who like a challenge crank it up high. Fight at your level.
Overall: 9.8
Even with the low score for story I still rated this a 10. Why you ask? Because even with no story it is still a blast! Watch out for bombs....literally... Anyways it's fun and almost anyone can play it. No real need to read just pick someone and mash buttons... Well there is a bit of strategy but whatever. Like I said it all comes down to your skill level. Make it easy, make it hard. In the end it's still about having fun. And this game defiantly does make things fun. I mean who wouldn't have fun throwing something at a friend. Or becoming a star.... So I guess that's it. Have fun and thanks for reading.

OMG! It's a 3DS Game!   zanderlex
I would have never really known that a game could be this much fun until now. For about a week I have been playing smash bros on my friends 3DS at work at I played regular battles for hours and that was all that I needed because I was having so much fun. But get this, I thought that those regular battles and smash run were the only things that the game had to offer, I wasn't aware of all the other game modes that the game had like classic which is great, all star, stadium, and others. I was already having a blast before I found those and once I got the game for my 2DS, I discovered all of those and fell even more in live with it. I've only had the game for about 24 hours now and while playing that along with my friends one, I have played this game more than any other game in the series and I love it.
GRAPHICS 10/10
You're talking about taking the characters and aspects from some of the most well known and best made games in history and putting them into one game. It's not like someone put together a compilation game and tried to make the characters, it's the official developers who made this game, years of experience with some of the best game graphics of all from Pokemon and Zelda to more. Of course the graphics are going to look amazing. Every character looks just like they would in their own game and full of detail and color and the stages are just as great as the characters. You have so many different stages, each one of then just full of detail to make them look like they are from their respective game, and the best part is that they move and change. Each stage has their own unique series of animations that are awesome to look at, even if you can't keep up with them and end up falling off. When you are looking at a game made by Nintendo, or most other games for that matter, this is really as good as it can get and my grade for graphics is going to be a perfect 10 out of 10.
SOUND 10/10
No matter how much would try to argue, they would never be able to say that the sounds if this game are bad. The sounds themselves are great, but when you are talking about the music, I would really say that this is the greatest video game soundtrack that I have ever seen. First let's talk about the sounds, every character has their own sound, every attack has their own, just pressing a button will give you a little tune, and there has to be dozens of sounds that I'm either forgetting or haven't even discovered yet. As for the music, it's the best that you could ever wish for, which literally is a compilation of the best songs in Nintendo history. Not just Nintendo, no, Nintendo also happens to boast some of the best songs in all if video game history, so in all honesty, I wouldn't be surprised if people would pay the same price they paid for the game just for an actual soundtrack. Oh wait, they wouldn't have to because unlike nearly all games, not only do the songs play while you play, but there's an entire in game soundtrack to just listen to the songs.
How good are the songs? Well, they're great. You're looking at more than 50 songs, with a few being from each series that is represented in the game. Pokemon for instance, has about 4 or 5 songs in the game, some of them are the original versions of the song that are from the respective Pokemon game, while song of them are official remixes. You heard that right, this is the only place you can find authentic remixes of your favorite songs. There is literally nothing bad about the music nor the sound so as for a grade, I can't give it anything below a perfect 10 our of 10.
ADDICTIVENESS 10/10
You will only find a handful of games that are more fun than this one. Heck, if it wasn't as addicting, the series wouldn't have gone in for as long as it had. Who doesn't want to take control of one of their favorite game characters and then battle against some of their other favorite game characters? No wait, what if you are playing against your friends, who are playing with some of your favorite game characters? Did that get your attention? Well it shouldn't have because you should have been playing the game instead of listening to me, you're a terrible example of a gamer. There's so many things to do in this game that you will never get bored, you could probably end up playing hundreds of battles with one character in different scenarios and simply just move on to a different character, all just in the regular battle mode. Next you might find yourself playing classic mode dozens of times and the same thing with all star mode. Once you're done with all that, there's still so much more to do and you probably wont be bored at all, next you're going to play all the stadium games and then go trophy abs record hunting.
STORY 7/10
The game doesn't really have much of a set story line. First you have classic mode which is as close as you can to a story, though I really have no idea what that's all about. In story mode you pick a character and then you go on a journey through battles and picking different paths until you battle that big glove guy. The rest of the stuff isn't exactly a story but are various goals and things you try to get like going after trophies, unlocking characters and stages, and doing all sorts of challenges. I'm not exactly sure if there is some sort of an official story behind the game but what is there is enough for me and as for a grade, this aspect gets a 7 out of 10.
DEPTH 10/10
I'm pretty sure that I already made it very clear that the game has a lot to offer, probably more than some of the other big games offer. First you have the number of characters that you can play as, battle against, and unlock, which should be at least two dozen. It's one of the games that has the most playable characters, even among fighting games. Then you have the stages that you can play on which is at least a dozen. Oh wait, that's only for the normal battle mode, there's still so much more. The regular battling also let's you customize things like how many enemies you battle between 1 and 3, how many minutes or lives are used, items, and much more.
Then you have the classic mode which is a series of battles that you might end up beating dozens of times and then you have so much more like all star mode, and various stadium challenges. But wait there's more, there's a full detailed database of stats and records, screenshots, and replays, and the full soundtrack of dozens of full songs. On top of that, the number of trophies, challenges, milestones, equipment, and badges is insane. There's so much for you to do and unlock that the price of the game really makes a lot of sense, and for a grade, depth is going to get another perfect 10 out of 10.
DIFFICULTY 5
The game is pretty easy unless you jack up the difficulty, and the only thing you need to worry about are the controls because each button does something and after a while you might get confused. Not to mention each character has their or unique series of moves so you need to get used to each character which might take a while. If you play this game on a 2DS, you might have a little extra difficulty because the tablet like surface might make reacting a bit more complicated unless you've already been using the system for a while. For the most part, the game is really easy and for a grade, this aspect is going to get a 5.
OVERALL 9.5/10
There's a ton of great Nintendo games out there, but you wont find many that are this great. Well, that's probably because of the whole "mash up of Nintendo's greatest games" thing. I love this game, and it's easily one of the best 3DS games that I have ever played along with Pokemon X, though actually those happen to be the only two 3DS games that I have ever played. But you get my point, the game is a lot of fun. If you have either a 3DS or a 2DS and don't have this game, you really need to either save up as much as you can if you can't afford it, or hive it a try if you just didn't want to play it in the first place. This game is really that good and my overall grade foe it is going to be a 9.5 out of 10.

SMASH BROS OUT! HECK YEAH!   AWESOMEGUY123
All hail Smash bros on the 3ds is out and it is out and it is boss! Nintendo is awesome for giving us great games that Sony and Microsoft dream to make and now the Wii U version will definetly fix the problem of the Wii jU's problem of it not selling good, Now, since its out, I guess it's time for me to talk about it. This is awesomeguy123's review of Super Smash Bros For 3DS!
STORY
There really isn't a story in Smash Bros it's just fighting Nintendo at it's best! The only time Smash Bros had a story was at the story at Brawl where the Nintendo Universe was threathened by the villain Tabuu. I heard that originalily There was gonna be a Story mode but since some of the fans leaked some of the Brawl cutscenes before that released so they decided that to not have the Story mode, dangit fans!
GRAPHICS
The graphics of this game is really good having all of the characters and stages run 60 frames per sec. But the Pokémon And Assist Trophy run at 30 frames per sec. The art style reminds me a lot of the Wind Waker art style and if you don't know me you would know that I love the Wind Waker art style its so cartoony. It's also so bright and colorful and if you you remember the Brawl artstyle it's so dark and bland. So glad they made it more like a regular Nintendo game and not like it was off Microsoft (Dang Microsoft is so bland!)
SOUND
Ah... the memories are all coming back to me! Not only are the sound effects are spot on when it comes to all the characters sound effects(example that when Mario jumps it does the classic Mario jump sound and when Sonic jumps it does the classic sonic jump

Brawl in 3D!   greenluigi
Hello, Vizzians! Green here with another review! This time, I'll be reviewing Super Smash Brothers for the Nintendo 3DS. It was released almost a year ago. This time, we need to beat 5 challenging opponents, in order to come up with the Overall Trophey. So, reader, will you help me beat those tough, challenging opponents? Really? Yay :3! Anyway, enough blabling. On to the review!
Beautiful graphics... for a 3DS game: Admit it, the 3DS doesn't share the best graphics in the world, but this game is an exception. Gorgeous graphics, and awesome animation! The way you punch, move, grab, run, jump, dodge... is perfect! Like I said, the game shares awesome animation. But, Green, what about the outline!? The outline sucks! Don't worry, ladies and gentlemen, you can remove the fighter outline in the settings! No graphical problems, no nothing. So, yeah, that's it for the graphics section. Sorry, I'm not the best when it comes to this section. *Launches graphics section off screen* 1 down, 4 more to go!
Awesome soundtrack: Ah, smash games. All of them share good soundtracks, especially Brawl and Smash 4. There's no way on Earth you will say 'No' to this soundtrack, but if you do, I'll kill you :P. JK. Most of it are just themes from past games remixed, and some others are just new ones. Some of them are pretty catchy (especially Gaur Plain!), and some of them are pretty relaxing and epic. So, if you're stressed, depressed, or anything, all you have to do is to listen to Smash 3DS's soundtrack! Trust me, you'll be relaxed, and you will get your confidence back! Oh, and I noticed a major difference between Brawl's soundtrack and Smash 4 3DS's soundtrack. I noticed that Brawl's soundtrack is more upbeat, while 3DS's soundtrack is more relaxing. I could be wrong, though. *Knocks out Soundtrack* 2 down, 3 more to go!
A bit too addicting:  Games nowadays aren't very addicting, and too easy to beat, but this game is an exception. You see, beating the crap out of a game character you hate so much is fun. Or, you can make a team match (Mario and Luigi vs Peach and Zelda, for example), which is fun. There are so much to do in this game. And, right now, I'm playing this game. Smash 3DS is way too addicting. I play this game almost every day. You can't complete everything in one day. I'll say more in the depth section.
Sorry, no subspace emmisary sequel :(:  Yeah, sorry to disappoint you, smash fans, but this game doesn't include a story mode. Same goes to its counterpart, Super Smash Brothers for Wii U.
So much to do:  This game has a lot to offer! You have Smash mode, Games and More, settings, Smash Run ( a mode exclusive to the 3DS version), online, and more! It will take a while to beat the game 100%. Wait, what, Green!? I unlocked every fighters (DLC included). Bro, if you unlocked every fighters, then that means you only finished 10% of the game. TEN. In order to completely complete the game, you need to unlock EVERY single trophies, CDs, stages, etc... That will take a while. At least one month. Don't worry, the Wii U version is much worse. It has more to offer :3.
Challenging game:  If your CPU's level is set at level 3, then the game is easy. However, if you set your CPU's level at level 9, then the game will be super hard. If you're playing the game on the New 3DS, then it's even harder, since it has a more challenging CPU. The controls are simple. B is for special, A for attack, R to block, etc... If you're feeling uncomfortable with the controls, you can adjust them in the settings. So, yeah, that's it for the difficulty section.
We managed to beat the 5 opponents! I think it's time to open the Overall box. *Opens the box*, look at that cool trophy! It displays the number "9.8". So, overally, Smash 3DS is a great game. It's a must buy. This game will impress you all, including you, non-nintendo fans. So, yeah, thanks for joining me in my review adventure!

Super Smash Brothers...In Smashing 3D!   Uzar
It's safe to say that Super Smash Brothers 4 is highly popular. But the first version is often overlooked. A version that always gets the blame on for things we didn't get on the Wii U. Which is honestly fair to say because, yes, the 3DS isn't as powerful as an HD home console. But for what it is, the 3DS does a good job.
Most people stopped playing this game when it's other version came out. But to the few who still regularly play this game; this review is for you!

Graphics: 7/10

The stages in this game look great. Especially in 3D! Prism Tower, and Wrath of the Reset Bomb are good examples of the visuals the 3DS can pull off. Of course, when observed up close the individual textures are pretty low resolution, they still look nice when zoomed out. I got to hand it to the cleverness of the developers. Combining a bunch of low-res graphics together to make them seem like something bigger and much better when combined, and viewed from about 5 steps back.

The characters are a different story. In 3D, or just certain stages, it's really easy to lose track of where you are. The characters themselves look...eh. They look good considering the hardware limitations. They look better than in 64 and Melee for sure. But not quite as good as Brawl or WiiU's versions. A cool thing is that in gameplay the characters have lower resolution models. But if you pause the game it switches those out with models with much higher detail! I see a lot of gripes about that feature because "The 3DS is so underpowered guise.". But I see it more like this. The 3DS wasn't made to handle something like Smash Brothers. The fact it runs smoothly is really impressive if I dove into the hardware of both things. But I'm not doing that here or now. :P The fact is; some things had to be taken out to make it run smoothly. Because unlike some other developers, Nintendo prefers to release games that both work and run smoothly.

Sound: 10/10

The sound may be one of the best things about this game. Is has the same sound effects as it's Wii U counterpart. In just as high quality too! Although there's not TOO much in terms of voice acting. Only a few characters actually speak. But they are pretty well done. Although I don't give too many points to those who's lines are were just taken from Brawl.
And the music, while pretty limited, is also great! It sounds as crisp and clear as the other version as well. And to hear such beauty through the speakers, or some headphones, is really satisfying. The sound test mode actually plays while the 3DS is closed. So it's like a Smash Brothers iPod almost. The only thing I'm not satisfied with is that all the stages have only two songs that play on them. Except for Wrath of the Reset Bomb. That one has about five tracks that play on it.

Addictiveness: 8/10

This game is pretty addictive! But...Unlike the Wii U version; you can't exactly play with friends or family in your own house. Just with those with their own copy of the game. And most likely a wifi connection of their own. It makes normal battles against AI, or an amiibo, the only normal battle options.
But what this DOES have over the Wii U version is this. It almost has a single player mode! Smash Run is an incredibly fun minigame. It's what we all liked from the adventure modes of Brawl and Melee. Only with no story this time around. It's fun for a little while anyway. And Classic Mode feels much better than on the Wii U because it's not all forced 5+ player battles.
Online mode works great in this version as well. Although like on the Wii U, For Fun makes for a lot of lag. Leaving For Glory as your better chance for less lag. And the feeling of taking Smash Brothers out of your pocket and destroying someone while away from the TV feels amazing.

Story: 0/10

There is no story. Last time we got a story we put it on Youtube. This hurt Sakurai's feelings. And because his feelings were hurt we get no story mode now. And he only has his son, Dark Pit, to comfort him in these troubled times. This is the mature and honorable thing to do.

Please understand.
Depth: 4/10
There are a ton of characters, and a lot of stages too! Unfortunately they are almost all unlocked right from the start. What this DOES have over the Wii U version is; there are more locked characters here! There are 12 locked characters, and 4 that are for sale...There are also only 2 or 3 locked stages. But with all those characters and stages...You could honestly unlock most of them in one or two play sessions.
There are a ton of trophies too! Which all look pretty nice. But don't serve much of a purpose.
There are cool custom moves too! But they eventually become a pain to unlock. Plus they are mostly just tweaked versions of normal specials. Although a few are really cool while being just variations. The only characters with totally different custom specials are Palutena, and Mii Fighters. And they have them all unlocked from the start as well. Mega Man, Ness, and Luigi also have slightly different ones. Luigi can unlock an ice ball. And Ness has PK Freeze; complete with it's own line and everything! And Mega Man has the Tornado Hold, Beat, and Hyper Bomb which all behave totally differently to the moves they replace. And that's all the new things you're getting! :P
Difficulty: 6/10

The AI in this game is pretty tricky. They are generally a bit more aggressive than in the Wii U version. Amiibo AI is near impossible once it's fully leveled as well. It's like fighting a champion player, only their character choice wasn't decided by tier lists. :P (Well, I mean, you could play against Sheik, Rosalina, and Diddy amiibos if you looked hard enough.)
The Classic mode is a lot less difficult. It feels more like a Classic Mode in this version. Gone are luck based missions of taking on 4-8 CPU players that all team up on you. This version has you take on one or two CPU players at a time.
The All Star mode is significantly easier here too. You do more knockback, and there's less chances of the levels killing you.
Online mode really is a mixed bag. You're randomly connected to absolutely anyone on earth with a copy of Smash Bros who's also online; so their skills vary.
That's really all that there is to discuss on Difficulty.

Pros/Cons

I don't do this much, but this game warrants a pros and cons section. :P

Pro: You can play Smash Bros whenever you want

Con: The incredible limitations on the 3DS held back the Wii U version by a lot

Pro: Either out of laziness or limitations; Link's hookshot/clawshot doesn't drop. Giving him the longest grab out of anyone!

Pro: The game's speed the same as the Wii U

Con: All NPC's in battles run at 30 FPS. Which leads to Pokemon, Pikmin, and Assist Trophies being really choppy. Which can really take away from the overall feel of a battle.

Overall this game is pretty good. It doesn't quite surpass many other Smash Brothers games. But it's not exactly fair to have made a tiny portable system live up to the standards of a next gen HD console. For what it is, it's done a good job. I'm pretty impressed with it.
With both versions having an amazing lack of single player modes. This one comes the closest to having an actual single player experience. It's a trade-off from the Wii U. But remains faster than Brawl, overall better than N64, and characters who looked bizarre in Melee look normal here. :P Along with a better roster.
With a huge roster, and some very interesting and fun stages. You'll have a lot of fun if you've got a 3DS. Whether against the computer, or a friend or two. It's bound to have some good times. Just not as much as the Wii U. :P

Overall I rate this game: 7.5/10

Super Smash Bros. 3DS review   IgorBird122

Time for a review made by The IB, The game that is being reviewed is Super Smash Bros. 4 for the Nintendo 3DS. Super Smash Bros. was released in Japan on September 13th, 2014 in Japan and later on October 3rd in North America and Europe. If you don’t know Super Smash, Super Smash is a game where it combines a bunch of characters from a bunch of Nintendo titles like Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Kirby, and just to name a few all combined into one unique fighting game. With this epic combination of Nintendo characters, this seem like some kind of Nintendo All-Star game really, because it’s got all of the main characters from every series in Nintendo and I think personally, that is a win-win.

Also, this is the 1st game in the whole Smash series to be on a handheld device and that just makes things a whole lot better, now you can take your Smash battles anywhere now, you don’t have to be stuck on a console playing Smash.

Ok, onto the review.

Graphics..

Graphic-wise I think Nintendo using the 3DS system to bring the graphics of Smash Bros onto a handheld is one epic move that Nintendo to continue the success of the Nintendo, which is a wise move. I think with the graphics in this one, they have indeed done quite an amazing job. With the fast pace action that is Super Smash Bros and how the handheld can handle all that action, it is quite amazing, it’s not just the action on why I think the graphics are outstanding, I think the setting in each stage are amazing as well, like each and every stage, they all have their own unique style to them, some positive and some negative, you just got to know on the environment once you know on the environment then it will make for an amazing setting to play in. That’s why you got to give it to Nintendo coming up with their 3D handheld and their decision to port a fighting game on the handheld. The only disadvantage I have vs. the consoles is the camera is a little slow to scan your player whenever you go off screen because of the 3DS’s small screen, but in reality, this is no big deal.

As for the Graphics, I got to give it a 9 out of 10, the fast and detailed graphics on a 3D handheld, you just can’t ask for anything else, if the small screen wasn’t a factor, then this would be a 10, but oh well, I still give it a 9 and a 9 is still a really high number though. Just great graphics, that is all I got to say

---------------

Sound/Music..

For the Sound Effects, I just like all the voices that are being made, no matter what character was being used (Human, or Creatures), they all have their own voices that makes them on who they are and all those sounds they make when they battle, and all the move sounds that are used are also high quality as well, and this being a 3D/HD handheld, you can’t really expect more or less from all the sounds that are produced by all the characters. All I can say, I love the sounds in this game and you will to

Now for the music, it all brings a lot of them from other series that the games that are inside this game, some has the original track and others have like some kind of remix and no matter on what music is being played, if give you those sounds that we have in those games, like you got music from the Mario series, from the Zelda series, from the Pokemon series, and a whole lot more tones to the music, and even the menu music is quite catchy as well, I just like the way the sounds are played in this game all together, that is all I got to say about the Music.

As for the Sound and Music, I easily have to give it a perfect 10 out of 10, the sound effects are extremely spot on and I especially love the tunes in the game as well, so I think with all of that, this does make this game very unique with the sounds being played, you will enjoy each and every bit of it.

---------------

Addiction Level..

Oh boy, this is what really what makes Super Smash Bros. extremely popular, you just can’t stop playing the game. It’s got so much; there are no limits on SSB. You would be playing this game for days, week, and even months nonstop just to beat all the modes that are offered in the game (which I will mention below under Depths) and all the trophies you can unlock and a whole lot of other interesting things you want to try out, or you just want to use your favorite Smash character to battle your opponents either in single player or playing it online with others. Although I have only played in single player right now, and even in single player, I still have been playing this game since I got the game and it has became my most favorite 3DS game, and there is a reason why it is my most favorite.

As for the Addiction Level, I easily have to give it a perfect 10 out of 10, since Super Smash Bros provide hours and hours of fun and entertainment and to tell you the truth, if I could of give it a higher number, I would easily have give it a higher number no problem. It is just that addicting.

------------

The Storyline..

Although They’re really not a whole lot of story in the series, but on how great the game is, a lack of a story doesn't mean that the game will be bad, and to my opinion, I don’t think the game even need a story on how this game portrays, I think the only story I know is that (when you go by the classic mode) you go battle a lot of enemies, opponents, and other stuff between you and the Master, and once you clear through all the battle, you come face to face (well, more like face to hands) with the Master’s hands and once you manage to drain all his HPs (depending on the difficulty level), you have technically beat the story. That is basically the only story I can really think of that is in the whole entire game, other than that story, that is pretty much it.

As for the story, I have to give it a 5 out of 10. Really the lack of a story really bombed this game, but other than the story, everything else made up for this “5”, but since I don’t really care too much about a storyline, it don’t really affect me at all, so that’s really all I got to say about the story though.

--------------

Depth..

Depth, the Depth of Super Smash Bros. 4. Man, where do I even begin with the Depth with this game. Ok, for the Depth of Super Smash Bros. 4 on the 3DS you have a lot of amazing characters to choose from like Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Link, Zelda, Sonic, Pikachu, or my favorite I use which is Charizard, plus just name a few in this game, so the amount of choices you have with the fighters you want seems limitless and also the number of stages you can battle in also adds to the mix of all the amazing things you can experience with. It’s not with all the choices you have with the characters and stages, but also all the game modes in the game as well, like the Smash mode we all know about and what really makes this game famous, plus a classic mode where you follow a storyline from start all the way to the end when you have to battle the Master Hands, you have a mode called “All-Star” mode where you battle characters depending on what Generation of gaming you are battling like Gen II, - Gen VIII) and you have a mode called Smash Run which is only for the 3DS, and it’s where you have to battle enemies to gain stats for a random battle at the end.

So, with that said, I easily have to give the Depth of Super Smash Bros. a perfect 10 out of 10. Super Smash Bros. 4 for the 3DS has a whole lot of depth into the game and the amount of characters and stages to choose from, this is why this game has a 10 out of 10.

--------------

Difficulty / Gameplay..

Ok, as for the difficulty of Super Smash Bros. I do have to admit, the game is really hard, because the enemies and your smash opponents can be quite tough to defeat, and when I battle other enemies in Smash Run, a whole lot of enemies seem like they all are impossible to defeat (it will take a long time to defeat them) but one you do, it will be quite worth it because you will get a lot of stats for it, but not that, but both Classic and All-Star mod are both really hard as well. In Classic, I never really make it past the Master Hands, let me tell you, the Master Hands are quite tough, that’s why he’s the boss of the game. As for All-Stars, I haven’t really played this mode a whole lot, but when I do play this mode, it is a little difficult to defeat everyone, but you have all those generations to battle through like I mentioned in the Depth part. But I think with its difficulty, I think this is what really makes this game very unique in its own way, being a tough game is what makes the whole game fun to play.

As for the Gameplay, the controls are a little hard to figure out because you got all those moves you can make with your Smash character, and everything else you can possibly learn from and overtime, you still haven’t figure out everything about Smash because it got so much controls with it, but I think on a personal note, I do like a fighting games with a lot of controls because you got so many options you can use to defeat your opponents, so, the more controls, the better the game would be to my opinion. So, a pretty outstanding gameplay is what makes this game itself one really fun game, controls are smooth and can be easy to figure out once you get the hang of the Smash series.

For the Difficulty and the Gameplay, I got to give it a 9 out of 10, it is quite a hard game, but on a personal standpoint, it is a really great game, it’s not like impossible to beat, because as long it’s possible to beat it, that’s all that matter to have one great game, and that is my personal opinion on the game, really hard, but not impossible, that’s why it gets a 9

-----------------

Overall..

Overall, I do have to say, this game right here is one amazing game, I just got this game the day after Christmas 2014, and I haven’t stopped playing this game since, and the reason why I haven’t is what I mentioned above, it’s got amazing graphics, amazing sound and music, and it’s really a tough game, but fun at the same time which are great combo. The 2 biggest things that really made this game on what it is today has to be the Addiction Level and the Depth, I think to my point of view, these two things really brought this game to where it is and what really makes this game popular. The only downside I have with this game will keep this game from being a perfect 10 out of 10 (although I never, ever rate an overall score a 10 out of 10, otherwise, I’ll sound bias) is the storyline, I think the lack of a storyline kinda bombed it, but other than that, the game is quite fantastic.

For the final score, I will give this game a 9.6 out of 10, despite the lack of a storyline, I think this game is a very epic game, and I think if you like Fighting games, this is the one fighting game that is a must try and especially if you like Nintendo characters, this is the one game for you, you need to try this, even if you aren't much of a fighting kinda guy, but still, it won’y hurt if you give this game a try, you might end up liking it, I never played it because I wasn't much of a fighting type, then I tried this and it end up being my best game ever on the 3DS.

Hello peeps I am going to tell you how good this game is. The games before it is awesome, mostly melee, but now to this game there was no or not many new fighting mechanics and the graphics are very good for a 3/2ds, it looks good as or even better then melee I think the shadows are better. Ok now to the sound the menu songs... eh but the gallery has good songs like fire emblem, green hill zone, and Dr Mario (yes I like it). This game is extremely addictive don't play too late at night  on classic mode if you go on hard if you're like me you die over, and over again and you end up staying up all night. The game does not really have a story in the new one the last one that did is brawl so that covers the story. The game has TONS of unlockables so the game has depth to explore and the game modes add to it. The game is hard yet not because you choose it. The game is great but there is a lot of clones so sorry if it disappoints you. Well hope you liked  it I'm just 11 so tell me if I did good.

Not as good as Brawl, but amazing!   daman269
Let me just get this out of the way. Brawl is better in a fun factor point of view, this is better for competitive. I like Brawl more because of that.
Graphics: 10
We're starting to move games onto the New 3DS, so this is late 3DS era. That means that you'll see the best graphics that the 3DS has to offer. All characters are really fleshed out, they look good and the stages fit with their theme well.
Sound: 10
Take all of your favorite game tracks, remix some, make a compilation of songs from some and make game specific ones. This has an amazing selection of songs that fit outstandingly well with the stage.
Addictiveness: 10
Whatever you want to play, casual, competitive or Fox only, no items, Final Destination, you'll have fun. That is if you're not playing against For Glory spammers who think they're good and call you a hacker if you win. Or if you're playing against high level CPU with reactions that you can't do with a 3DS. Other than those minor issues, it's so addicting that it may be unhealthy.
Story: 2
Classic mode is the story, it's "Fight other characters until you get to Master Hand" so yeah. Not very good in the story department. Who cares though? it's a fighting game.
Depth: 9
It has 51 characters, including the endless amounts of 3 Mii Fighter types. 3 custom moves per special move on each character, Mii fighter costumes, 4 DLC characters, many DLC Mii costumes, 34 stages, 2 DLC stages (also more to come with the Cloud Strife announcement) 2 pages of options, many items, a final Smash each, Smash Run, All-star mode, training, Home-run contest, 6 Fighting Mii Team based gamemodes, For Glory, For Fun, Spectator mode where you can bet on a match, and more. It has a great mode called Smash Run which was made specifically for customs and the 3DS. I love Smash Run. Edit- Bayonetta and Corrin (why another Fire Emblem character?) are in Smash.
Difficulty: 6
Against high level CPU, this game can be annoying, when trying to collect new trophies, annoying, Cruel smash, annoying, other than that and a spoiler based one that I'm not spoiling, it's a ton of fun.
I'd definitely recommend this game, portable Smash was an amazing idea and I hope to see more Smash games on portable Nintendo systems.

This game is amazing. Certainly one of the best I have played in awhile. The levels are just crazy. One level has you fighting on top of racers going top speed in the "Fzero" map. All of the maps are great!

Jinx98 10-18-14 - 01:55 PM
Got it on the first day. Maybe its because I'm on the 3ds version, but Master Hand seems a lot more painful to fight. He's faster a little harder to avoid.
gamerforlifefor.. 10-10-14 - 12:20 AM
That's good, you should get it as soon as you can.
RetroGameNinja 10-06-14 - 06:10 PM
 I'm getting this soon.
