Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced Anarchy Review
   Intro
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is a great final fantasy game for the game boy advance. It is grid based so there are places to run and you can attack people at a distance. This hack is great because it takes out laws from the game completely  so you can play however you want. If you were playing the regular game you would have to obey the laws and if you didn't your team mate will go to jail and you will have to pay to get him out. For example sometimes you aren't allowed to uses certain spells. If the spell heal was illegal to use that day your team member would go to jail. This can get very annoying. I'm glad we have this hack. It is a final fantasy game so it has plenty of familiar spells and monsters. The game is really fun once you get started and I hope you give it a chance.
   Overall 9.5/10
This game is a great way to spend some extra time. Especially In a final fantasy game it cant be bad. If you need to level up you can fight enemy clans and get items. If your equipment is weak or you already learned the skill you can buy more at a shop. There are even 300 missions so you one play through can take over a month.
   Graphics 9/10
They are even better than some ds games. For anyone who thinks that old games have bad graphics very few of them actually have bad graphics. The graphics are basic and was the best they could do at the time.  So for its time the
graphics in this game were great.  It doesn't glitch at all, the detail is amazing, and it even show the characters fighting! What more can they add?
   Sound 8/10
The sound in this game is amazing. They have different battle, menu, and fighting music. It is different than other final fantasy games and each piece of music is appropriate for the part of the part of the game it is in.
   Addictiveness 9/10
This game is very addictive too! It had me playing it for at  least a month. One day isn't even enough to experience everything the game has to offer. You are going to want to improve your skills, team, and even your wallet. This game has amazing replay value too. Some side missions can be replayed over and over again. This can really help you because most side missions give you incredible amounts of gil (money in the final fantasy series) and unique items. You will need everything you can get.
   Story 7/10
Marche is a new student and resident of Ivalice and goes to school there, Mewt is a shy boy who is still misses his mother, Ritz is a loud and outspoken classmate of Marche and Mewt, and Doned is Marche's younger handicapped brother and a big fan of fantasy novels and video games. The group comes across a dusty old book in a local bookstore and reads it. The next morning Marche wakes up in a fantasy world named Ivalice. The new Ivalice is a reincarnation of Mewt's memories from a Final Fantasy game. Marche is separated from the others, and immediately begins a quest to return home and turn everything back to normal.
   Depth 10/10
This game has many different things in it. First there are at least 50 weapons to choose from and even more spells to learn. Some spells increase your stats, some deal damage to enemies, and some even heal you! There are even 42 classes to choose from and five different race's.
   Difficulty 6/10
This game isn't very hard in the beginning, but it  gets harder in the end. In the beginning  like most games you don't have to train. The enemies don't have very good spells and they have low health. In the end the enemies have health in triple digits and instant kill attacks be careful. In some levels your team beta can even die. This is because in regular matches the judge stops people from dying but in some matches there isn't a judge. This makes your team vulnerable to death.
   Tips
-In the beginning level up so it will be easier to level up later. Later in the game it gets very hard. Laziness or borem = underleveled = Weak team members = very hard future bosses. Take this from my personal experience.
-once you get a lot of items it is time to train and learn more moves. In this game you learn your spells from your weapons. Some spells take a long time to master so it's good to train often.
-Try to do most, if not all, of the missions you have. Later on in the game the enemies get a lot tougher. You need all the exp, items, spells, and tactics you can get.
-Try to have your team as balanced as possible. Don't have your whole team focused on magic, for example. There are some missions where magic doesn't work very well. This can get you in pickle instantly.
- Stock up on items. A simple potion or Phoenix down can go a long way. What happens if your main healer dies? You'll most likely be defenseless and you will either need some items or very very strong team members.
- Know how to play. You might actually not know how to play this game. Read the in-game guides. They can really help if you don't know how to do something. Make sure you know what each spell does. You can make great use of certain spells. But only if you know how to use them.
Final tip - Study the playing field. Before you just run out there and fight look around. You can be walking right into a trap. In some places you can get surrounded by enemies quickly. If you get surrounded you might not be able to save your player. And then if there isn't a judge you can possibly lose one of your best players.
   Conclusion
This game is very fun and exciting and I hope you try and enjoy it. If you have any question feel free to send me a message or just reply to this review.

I actually did like the Law system, I just hated how the enemies didn't follow it, or get punished when they break it... THAT's what made the Law system annoying...
Cobykid 02-27-15 - 04:17 AM
I love how there is no laws... but then the plot kinda lacks a bit, because the law is sort of a plot point....

TheRipper: This happened to me a while back too. You have to press F2 to save and F4 to load. If the f2 and f4 keys don't work hold the fn button on your keyboard then press f2 or f4.
