Dragon Ball - Advance Adventure[GBC]
Hello everyone. Today I came across this game right here. Dragon Ball Advance Adventure. I originally know this game from the Game Boy Advance system, however. This game is on the Game Boy Color. I never expected to come across this game and well as I was playing. I decided it be cool for me to do a review on it. This review will be less worded than other reviews that I have done because there is little to be said about this game. Well, lets get started.

Graphics: 7
On the original or probably more known version that's on the Game Boy Advance. I would have given this category a higher rating. Although this game is on an older game system, the creator did a really awesome job replicating it closer to the one on the Game Boy Advance. So yeah this games graphics aren't too bad considering that it's for the Game Boy Color, and the coloring offset wasn't to bad either. So, overall my rating would be a 7 because even though they did do a spectacular job making it look good for the Game Boy Color. I am more use to the game looking more updated and better.

Sound: 4
So far I only heard 3 bgm soundtracks from this game and well let's just say that I wasn't all too impressed with them. The sound isn't anywhere close too the one on Game Boy Advance, and it is actually a whole lot worse. There really isn't much to be said besides that in my opinion I don't think the sound was legit on this game and that they could have at least had the soundtracks from the version on the Game Boy Advance with an 8-bit tune I guess...

Addictiveness: 6
Don't get me wrong, the game wasn't too half assed but it still didn't catch my attention from the absolute start. When you get to the title screen and press start. They start you out on the first level automatically. This is something I would expect from a nes game, but not from a Game Boy Color game. Then, even though they just start you off, you don't even get an intro of anything. You press start and just go with the flow. I think if they were just going to do that they could've at least gave is a proper intro on things.

Story: 8
Well this part is simple. You start your journey as Kid Goku in a forest, you progress through the original Game story. So the storyline itself was actually decent. I didn't see much of a change in that aspect from the other version to this one, except for the game play. You punch way too fast and, the majority of the time you punches don't even connect. Like, you still do damage but it doesn't stun your enemy which leaves you and you enemy at close combat, and you actually have a small millisecond of getting stunned which isn't fair to the player. There isn't much you can do about it though so we just have to deal with it.

Depth: 8
As far as the game being big, well not so much, with 1 character I usually progress through all of the levels within 1 hour and 50 minutes of playtime. So there isn't much to be said on depth.

Difficulty: 7
I actually found this game to be a little challenging. Not because of my inexperience as a gamer, or even because the game itself was actually challenging. It was because it took some extra time to defeat your enemies and the fact that they didn't even suffer from damage much, what I mean by that is hat I was telling you all before, about how they barely even get stunned or thrown off. So that with a long level for some odd reason which the levels seemed shorter on the Game Boy Advance. So that's the reason this game got the rating of a 7.

Well everyone, the review is complete, so I'm about to go in the Retro Game Room and play some games, for anyone who would attempt to play this. Don't waste your viz, just go play the Game Boy Advance version.
