Ah I see. Well that's more reasonable then. $75 is a tad high for a controller, but given the ability to add and remove it's parts at will, I could get that. On a side note, the Vitaboys had a "design the PS5" kind of contest about a year ago and someone actually pitched the idea of a controller that could work like the Switch's...months before we saw it revealed. xD I have no idea...I never would have thought of that. But back to what you said: I won't play Wii. It's a personal thing. :/ I onluly mentioned that game because it's a JRPG (and only if it's action). As for Yooka Laylee, that'll be hitting PS4 as well, so I'd grab it there even if I had the Switch personally. PlayStation is just my preferred platform for several reasons so I always gravitate toward PS releases. Except for with HM: AWL. But then AWL was terrible regardless of what system it was on. :p

Wait, so the controller is like $150? That's like the Wii U tablet. Is there a reason for that? I know with the tablet it was the screen, battery, and all that stuff. And I wouldn't mind the $400 price tag, if they can just field some more good exclusives since I'll grab any multiplats that I can on PS3/4/Vita for various reasons. Right now I'm eyeing the new Mario and Zelda, and I'd snag FE Warriors if I got a Switch, but it's not a system seller for me at all since Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, Warriors Orochi, and Dragon Quest Heroes all drop on PS as well, I've more than enough Musou games. lol I'd also look into that RPG...What was it? Xenogear or Xenoblade or something? Eh, anyway, yeah a few more — preferably non-Nintendo — exclusives would sell me on them.

As long as the games are there, man. That's what counts. Breath of The Wild looks good, though I wish they'd have gone realistic with the graphics, the demo at E3 looked like a mixed bag. Some real and some toony and it didn't mesh well. Though all in all I'm interested in it for the gameplay, not the graphics. The controller costs...this is what I was getting at with that comment I made in an article on here a while back. Nintendo gibes this low price on a console and then charges you a good sum here and there for extra stuff. In the end it equals close to the same as buying a new PlayStation or Xbox, so the financial decision is kind of out the window. And that's fine if you like the games, I just get tired of the "They use low specs so they can stay affordable" argument. In handhelds that's very true, but not so much in console. But anyway...yeah I'll keep an eye on the system. And is it weird to you that I think 60fps is a waste of power and people should stop fussing about anything over 30 consistent or 45 variable? And yeah I've been looking at Okami on PS4. Not sure yet though.

I suppose I hadn't thought of how third party developers would use it. Ironic since third party is what I wanted most in it. Well, second most. I mostly wanted normal controllers, and the switch does come closer to normal controls than any Nintendo system since the GameCube. I suppose Nintendo will never accept the killing of motion controls though, at this point hoping otherwise seems in vain. Now is the system can handle direct (or very minimally downsized) ports from PS4 then I have hope, however slight. Nintendo has made me cautious and wary of their every move over the past two generations, no offense. As for the content, that's a huge plus for them, though personally it matters little to me since I like any serious game, I don't care if it's rated E. In fact I appreciate good games that don't push past E or E10+, but I digress. Power and third party are my biggest concerns.

Heh just realized you said the 3DS had trash hardware, not the Vita. And hardware isn't trash because it's outdated. If the hardware was good when it released then it's simply outdated. Trash would be...eh...the Ouya? :p But what I meant was that the PSP could tether to a TV and play on or off of one, just like the switch. Two gennold PS tech. The motion controls and multiple controller setups based on the game. Two gen old Nintendo tech with the Wii. I'm partially disappointed that it ended up a collection of older ideas when Miyamoto claimed it was all new and revolutionary stuff.

My apologies. I suppose better wording would have been: I'd enjoy discussing this with you when and if we can do so without feeling the need to hurl insults or become angry. I would say no for two reasons: first, consoles and handhelds, unlike computers, aren't obsolete as soon as their specs are sufficiently topped, obsolescence is more about whether they still have new games (not aftermarket) being released for them. Second, it's probable that the vast majority of people who would want a Wii U or 3ds couldn't run them on their PC. By that I mean the specs required to emulate them would likely be higher than most non PC gaming enthusiasts would be able to meet. That's my opinion any who. I suspect Fred might disagree with me? :3

No, Natsume has the rights to the name Harvest Moon, but Marvelous has the rights to the actual game (Bokujo Monogatari). So from now on Bokujo Monogatari will be localized in English speaking countries as Story of Seasons, and Natsume will be making their own games and calling them Harvest Moon. So the "real" Harvest Moon will be published by Xseed and called Story of Seasons, and anything called Harvest Moon is just another devs attempt at copying the original HM.
