PacmanandMariofan :

Sorry... I guess I just wanted to comment on the game, and not really review it.  I'll see if I can delete it.

I knew a lot of people with Ataris and Intellivisions... but I only knew one kid who had an Odyssey.  I didn't know until watching AVGN that this system was the Odyssey 2... anyway Pick Axe Pete was a pretty good game... it had very funny movement, and jumping/ducking was ridiculous... I think it's a very interesting game because of how old it was... but one thing I noticed after playing it after so many years, is how smooth the game is.

Check it out...

Jordanv78 : It works now... I now have the option to allow the plug in, where in the last couple of days, I was not given that option... so I'm good.

Davideo7 :

This worked yesterday, but now the plugin cannot be found... there was a Windows update yesterday... does that have something to do with why this is not working now?

vanelan : I guess I'll try that... but there's no way it won't bother me since I've heard it work before with this emulator.

It happens with every Playstation game... I hear it in the PS intro song, and I hear it during throughout the entire game when there is sounds and/or music.

Singelli :

The music and the sound effects do not skip or jump... there is just underlying static that accompanies everything else... the game play is very smooth, no lag or hesitation..  I am running cable at a speed of 35 download  and 5 upload... so I don't think connection is an issue at all.

Well the good news is that I finally have a non-Mac that I can play my favorite games now!

The bad news is that I am having sound issues with the PlayStation games... I tried the other systems, like C64, Nintendo, N64 and MAME and had no issues with static.  Is this a new problem, old problem (known), or is there something I need to do on my end to set my sound to accommodate?

Any suggestions would be helpful

Thanks!

I don't know if anyone has had this problem... but I uploaded to the new OS Mavericks on my Mac, and there was a new Java update, and now I cannot play a single game now in the Retro Game Room... I have tried to allow Vizzed.com as one of the sites and tried putting my settings to allow for anything, but nothing works.  Any help would be appreciated.  I am aware that the Mac does not support the N64 games... but I have always been able to play the NES, Atari, and SNES games with some issues... but now, nothing.
Thanks,

Maybe someone can help me... I've been looking all day for a game that I used to play for the PlayStation... The genre would be an Action/Adventure game... I remember this game had some realistic fighting (karate I think) by the main character... he would go around many different levels fighting different opponents...

UPDATE
This game would be classified as a an isometric platform game AND it was a fixed camera game...

The closest game I could find that was like it was a game called Tunguska.

It was a pretty cool game, but the one feature I couldn't stand was how long the game took to load... I know some of the PlayStation games took a while, but this one was really bad... it was like at least 60-90 seconds for each "level".

Any help would be appreciated... I want to say the main character was a monk or something,... but I'm not sure.

PDB

UPDATE
I would classify this as a fixed camera, fixed angle, isometric platform game.

I see the flashing screen too... it takes away from an excellent game otherwise.  I remember seeing this problem about a year ago, and stopped playing because it was really bad.

Now I'm just dealing with the flashing... I wonder what exactly is happening?  To me it only happens when the screen is really dark.
