I am planning to build a pc somewhere before this year ends. Im trying to decided whether i should get the GTX 1050 Ti or 1060 3GB (I would go for AMD Radeon RX as well but RIP prices and availability). My budget is $600 or possibly less.

For a start the 1050 Ti is both cheap and powerful for the price. You can then upgrade it to a better GPU later but for now this will handle most things you throw out it, especially if you have a good CPU.

Another thing I recommend is using Intel, they have an affordable Intel Pentium that has hyper-threading for 70 or so dollars that is Kaby Lake. But if you want to start cheap and small then there is a Kaby Lake Intel Celeron processor which is 30+ dollars and will get the job done but you might want to upgrade it later,

You could get a Crucial MX300 525GB for $150 or Samsung EVo 850 500gb for similar price. Instead of that Kingston M.2 SSD.

You REALLY dont need that motherboard if your on a budget and not overclocking. You could get a more cheap (and reliable) motherboard and upgrade later on.

I prefer Ryzen processors due to having similar to slight higher game performance, better multitasking, and better OC potential. A Ryzen 3 1200 can be overclocked up to 3.6-4GHz on stock cooler. Higher price but you get more for the money and originally ryzen 3 was completing with i3. (like ryzen5 vs i5 and ryzen 7 vs i7)

I did take your advice about the GTX 1050 Ti.
Also i could always buy a SSD later on. Re-installing Windows 10 on that is literally an option in the Advanced startup menu.

In the end of the day, you could spend your money how you want to. (I seen people spend $1000 on a build with a pentium processor).

I think the SSD is one of the most important parts personally.
If I knew how great they were, I woulda got one long ago.

As far as Ryzen, from what I hear, they are much better than Intel right now and should be considered over the i series processors.
The mobo you have on there is a microATX. Just keep in mind that they only have 2 RAM slots.
Typically, you want to get RAM in pairs as well. It will work alone, but ideally, matched pairs (supposedly) work faster than single sticks.

SSD's are great are great, i just wish they were cheaper which is why you might still see a lot of first time builds with HDD cuz SSD are not in their budget, but afterward they usually end up having a high capacity SSD in their build.

Also it just cost $10 extra for a microATX with 4 RAM slots (Mini ITX is limited to just 2). I most likely can't SLI or Crossfire but i most likely wont be trying to game at 4K nor are too many games really optimised for SLI/Crossfire.

As for the RAM, i doubt there is a huge difference from one stick or matched pairs. Possibly a minor FPS boost.
