Laughter is one of my favorite things in the world. It shows that whatever happened in front of you, you found to be amusing. There are many things that can make us laugh. If you can remember, what was the last thing that made you laugh? Sometimes, I tend to laugh at myself because I'm dumb. I read a user's post that basically read, "We need to find out what people are interested in today." Being me, I thought to myself, "FIDGET SPINNERS". I couldn't help but chuckle a little at my stupidity.

I was playing World of Final Fantasy, a PS4 game that's basically like Pokemon, in which you can capture and fight with classic FF monsters, and encountered a Tonberry, which is one of the series's most iconic monsters, with a catch... this one TALKS, and he has this super deep ominous voice. The last thing that made me laugh was a Game Grumps episode. Those guys are really funny!

I was watching a "Grumps Dream Course" ( a hacked ROM of Kirby's Dream Course ) episode where Arin and Danny couldn't figure out how to get through it. Its a 1 vs 1 game but after like 15 minutes, they just decided to put their differences aside and just try to find an end to the level. They kept knocking Kirby off the course, since none of it is connected. It was a really weird stage and it kept p-ing them both off ... and of course that is funny lol

  the last thing that made me laugh was back when celine dion,s husband was living and I happened to read in one of my local newspapers about him going to vegas and spending 1 million dollars at one of their casinos only to have her say that he,s got to have his fun the reason why I find this to be funny is because a lot of us including myself will probably never have 1 million dollars another thing I also find to be funny is a u tube video that I saw recently by takeo ischi who was chicken yodeling I first came across the video in a thread that someone made and liked it so much that I decided to go to u tube to see it again

I have the feeling I'll be posting in this thread semi-often.

It's super easy to make me laugh, so it's difficult to keep track of the last thing that made me laugh. In this post, I'll just say the last thing that made me laugh out loud.

Last night, PokeGO+Mariofan and I were playing a game he came up with. We kept track of who kicked my soccer ball the highest each round. He managed to kick it higher than me almost every time, but I managed to keep the ball on our side of the street. He, on the other hand, kicked the ball so high it went over my indescribably tall tree and BOING'd into the street. We couldn't stop laughing for quite a while and we both have no idea how he pulled that off.

In the end, I'm just glad it didn't hit my mom's car parked in the street.

I was bickering with my 6 yr old brother in the van. The mother went to order pizza and left us 3 kids (me and 2 brothers, ages 6 and 4) in the van. It's a type of video on YouTube consisting of edited clips that are mashed together and edited for humorous context and purposes, and used to be really popular) Called "Soup or Smash Bros.", of one of the Super Smash Bros. Direct, and had such gems as these.

My family and I laughed pretty hard when we passed a truck carrying porta-potties. It wasn't because of what the truck was carrying necessarily. The last thing that made me laugh was viewing a picture on Facebook where the guy had an unnaturally awkward smile on his face. He does that a lot in his pictures and it keeps getting funnier. He used to be my a leader at my church campus (before he got an apprenticeship at a different campus of the same church), so that's how I know him.

I laughed hard but not too long when my friend Cole and I were mini-golfing. He hit the ball hard and it bounced off of the rocks that are after the green, and into the deep water. It was never seen again. By us anyway. My laughter wasn't necessarily at him but at the way it bounced in there and the fact that we were trying so hard to prevent that!

He ended up sharing a golf ball with me for the rest of the game. Mine was almost lost too.

The last thing that made me laugh was a video titled "Game Grumps Animated Variations" I always enjoy seeing the different animation styles people use to depict Dan and Arin. I laughed because in 90% of the animations, Dan is depicted as tall, scrawny, and drowning in bushy hair and Arin is drawn as a big, short-tempered oaf, and lo and behold, that is exactly what the video ended up being. The last thing that made me laugh was playing a 10 minute round of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with my brother (had all the items on and chargeable final smashes as well). It's amazing how chaotic a match can get between the goofy final smashes (Yoshi's is easily one of the most hilarious ones), assist trophies, pokemon, and all the insane items in between. I laughed because he kept getting targeted by Yoshi his final smash-- it annoyed him to no end and I couldn't help but chuckle at his frustration.

The last thing that made me laugh was the dinner conversation I just had with my brother, my mom, and my mom's fiance. Me and my brother were talking about the camp that we work at together over the summer, and laughing about some of the funny things campers have said and the ways that we have handled issues. For example, we had one camper that claimed that she couldn't be on the red team for hockey "red gives [her] headaches." Later on in the summer she came in wearing a red shirt, and when we asked her about it, she said "oh this type of red is fine."

Me, my brother, my mom, and her fiance went to the game, and we met my cousin and his fiance for dinner afterwards, because they live in Brooklyn. My cousin was telling a story about how he said "Guess what?" to his fiance, and she responded "chicken butt," so he just "yup, it was chicken butt" and wouldn't tell her what he was actually going to say. My mom's fiance didn't understand how the whole chicken butt thing worked, so we started throwing all of the 2nd grade jokes at him. We told him to spell ICUP, said it smelled like updog, and mentioned something about ligma. He didn't know any of them, and didn't understand them after the fact either lol. When we were walking back to the car about an hour later he suddenly goes "Oohhhhh I get it now! He was trying to get me to say what's updog!"

I've been playing a lot of Minecraft maps with a friend recently and for some reason she has this insane talent at making realistic animal noises. I swear any time she does one I piss myself because I can't believe that noise came out her mouth. It gets to the point where she doesn't even have to finish the noise and I will already laugh.

The best one is this recent chicken impression she does all the time. It's not even the finish of it that gets me, unlike the others, it's moreso the buildup. She will literally make that noise that chickens make when they're like restlessly walking around with their red saggy beard flopping around and that image cracks me up.


Another favorite of mine is the sheep noise. It's incredibly realistic but I later learned it runs in her family. I've heard her mom in the background give what I genuinely thought was a real sheep because it was so accurate to the source material. While making dinner I dropped a piece of chicken (cooked already) and before I could reach out to grab it my old ass dog suddenly regained 5 years of his life and speeded across the floor and beat me to the chicken. It was surreal as his paws are starting to give out a little due to old age but for this stupid piece of chicken my guy went Usain Bolt on me to fetch it.

He then triumphantly patrolled around with the chicken before eating it and it was hilarious for me as it's almost like he was putting up a facade the whole time for moments like these.

Love him though the old bastard. He's about 12.5 years old now

Just now I was looking at clips of comedians. I’m usually never the type to really laugh at a comedian. It’s not that I don’t find them funny but watching them never triggers laughter for me for some reason. I think I’m more so wired to respond to things and people around me as opposed to a form of media like a funny video or comedian. Someone I don’t know could stub their toe and I’d have to try my hardest to hold my laugh while an insanely funny meme or something emits a slight chuckle from me.

It’s why I don’t really follow any specific comedians. People often ask who’s your favorite comedian and I really don’t have an answer because it’s not their content that makes me laugh. I thrive off of other people’s humor and laughter. If I’m watching a funny video compilation or some vines or tik toks or whatever with someone I’ll usually chuckle at the clip if I find it funny but I’ll laugh at their reaction to it.

I can laugh really easily on something like a voice call though since I’m experiencing whatever topic or game or something with the other person which makes me laugh.

There are however some rare exceptions where someone like a comedian actually makes me genuinely laugh. There was this one guy once who had a little bit about getting a vasectomy that had me in tears and just now this clip of this one comedian on how he is incapable of answering the most basic questions. He described a situation of him going to get his hair cut and in the middle of the little hair wash they do beforehand the hairdresser asked him what he wanted. He took a little pause which already cracked me up because I could feel what was coming and I relate to this so much. Basically after the pause he just had this look on his face and went “hair cut. thats what I want. hair cut. I want to have less hair when I leave than what I entered with.” and I was dying because that’s exactly how I feel when I get my hair cut. I don’t really style it as it has a mind of its own and will just f*** itself up if I even attempt so I just let it do its thing for the most part. But that little segment hit so close to home that I couldn’t hold myself.
Just now I was looking at clips of comedians. I’m usually never the type to really laugh at a comedian. It’s not that I don’t find them funny but watching them never triggers laughter for me for some reason. I think I’m more so wired to respond to things and people around me as opposed to a form of media like a funny video or comedian. Someone I don’t know could stub their toe and I’d have to try my hardest to hold my laugh while an insanely funny meme or something emits a slight chuckle from me.
