I remembered that I was a game reviewer when I first started writing on Vizzed, and I look back on them and I thought, what was I thinking?



Seriously, the amount my maturity has changed from then to now is a little... ironic to say the least?

I did go through my guides, and men, has my style improved over the years... I'm sure the same will apply to reviews, though I haven't worked that much on them so the change would be more sudden compared to the gradual improvement of my guides.

As for other threads not linked to any game page, I don't really look back. I don't tend to make many threads, and they don't generally get many replies, so better leave them be. They were useful at their time, but not anymore.

I go back through some of my replies and threads on occasion expecting to cringe, but what I pot now and what I posted then hasn't really changed a great deal, I don't think. More than anything, I just find myself being slightly more blunt and confrontational in the debate forum than I am now. Other than that,

Hm... You don't seem to have changed much to me.

Seeing as I haven't been on Vizzed for even 3 years though, I would imagine that most of my "old" threads and posts probably don't seem all that different from my most recent posts/threads to most people. I also don't tend to look back at my older posts much since I more or less remember what I wrote. There's a very noticeable difference between my first review and my newest one. I went from rambling walls of text to categorized reviews to my current style, and I think all of those changes were for the better. My posting style has also changed a lot...I was 12 when I first registered on Vizzed, and it's a miracle that I posted well enough to not eat a ban, not to mention the fact that I was a game reviewer on here at a fairly young age. I cringe a little bit when I look at some of that old stuff, but then I remember that I've changed a lot and that I wouldn't have made as much progress as I have now if it weren't for those old, cringe-worthy posts.

I not only look back on my old threads, I annihilate them

Now that I have less time to be here, I prefer not to look back on my old threads unless it's an old review that got rated recently. Most of my old posts were weird and spammy, but I never even made an introduction thread so I had only read the rules and followed them instead of meeting anyone.

I haven't really started making threads til the past year, so honestly I only have one thread that is "old." That would be my newbie thread. The next thread I made was over a year ago, and that's just about my personal problems.

  yes I always like to look back at my old threads just so I can see when I did them and if there were any responses it also gives me a chance to see if there were any bad threads I might have done and while I don,t do threads as often as some other people I always try to do one,s that are good and I find that by looking back at them I always get to see which one,s were better than the other threads I did

I actually find it interesting to do at times just to see what my mindset was like, quite often I find that my opinion has changed radically since. I have usually put a lot of thought into my post regardless of when I made them so they at least don't come across as being particularly spammy, though possibly a bit like me rambling... Some of my threads I am quite proud of due to the amount of work I put into them, like the article I made about the Syrian Crisis a few months ago.
