Is it possible to use the mouse as the controller in this game?

I'm wanting to say no, but I'm no expert on MAME. I'll try summoning someone who actually might know, though. Just so they see it sooner.

It seems like it is actually possible to use the mouse as a controller. I got it working for me.


Here is how to do it:

2. Go to:

using file explorer.


NOTE: The 1st letter "C" is your hard drive. It might be a different letter for you but in most cases it's "C". You can check the letter of your hard drive by just opening file Explorer. Also, if you are someone other than the thread creator, replace the number "556104" with your user id. For example, my user id is 345197, which is shown in the url of my profile page: https://www.vizzed.com/user/Mohammedroxx3-345197-profile


3. Put the file you just downloaded in that location. You should now see something similar to this:

4. You're done. Restart your web browser and give it a try.

Mohammedroxx3 : Okay.  What do I have to download this file in?  It keeps downloading to Notepad.  And how do I find the file explorer?

AstralFrankie- What operating system are you using? (For example: Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows Vista, Windows XP.... etc) Instructions should be similar on different Windows versions but it might be slightly different. 

Start out with downloading the file and just save it on your downloads folder or desktop for now. I'll be able to tell you more detailed instructions after you tell me what Windows version you are using. 

Mohammedroxx3 : I am using Firefox on Windows 7.

AstralFrankie- Try this:

1. When you download the file on firefox, make sure you select "Save File", NOT "Open With". Then click "OK". Like this:



2. Then click on the down arrow button (that should be blue at the moment for you) located around the top right of the screen, then the folder button located next to "cheyanne.ini". Like this:



You will get a popup Window now with the cheyanne.ini file selected. Right click on "cheyanne.ini" and click on "Cut".

3. Click on the blue start button (with the Windows logo on it) located in the bottom left of the screen. Then click on "Computer".

4. On the top of the Window that pops up, click on the big White bar (that should say "Computer" on it) and type this in: , then press enter.

5. You should see a bunch of .cfg files. Now, right click on an empty white space, click on "Paste". Something like this:



Finally, the cheyanne.ini file should be somewhere in there with those other files.
