The weather has been so crazy here the last week. Last Wednesday we had a big storm with one of the closest lightning bolts I have ever seen. Then on Sunday there was another storm with some of the most powerful lightning I have ever seen.

Then Monday was one of the biggest storms I have ever seen in general. Two crazy downpours, a ton of flooding, and a crazy amount of lightning. Just the last week alone made this one of the most dangerous summers that I have ever seen.

30 Celsius in the UK, we can't handle snow or the hot weather. It's a nightmare considering the AC's are not that good either so the warm nights are just outright uncomfortable.

Also at night, I couldn't keep my windows open since the UK was hit with thunder and lightning, it was terrible and the rain kept getting into my room. Not exactly a great thing to wake up at 2am with after drinking as well.

The heat is still here. Overall I'd say today was less hot than yesterday but tomorrow is apparently omega hot according to our omega hot weather lady so we'll see if I'll be alive to post here at the end of the day. Fingers crossed.

Although the heat is still very intense in Virginia, the past few days have been in the 70 degree range which is quite nice. There was also some light rain today and yesterday as well, which I always prefer to sweltering heat.

Ever since Hurricane Barry made landfall where I live and brought flooding rains a couple of week ago, the weather actually hasn't been too bad here with 90ºF temps and nice skies although we have our normal occasional showers and thunderstorms here and there

Our weather lady was right, today was unbearable. It was so unbearable I would call it unwearable, due to the sheer amount of people I saw today walking around in just their underwear. I've literally never seen this many people so scantily clad (not counting swimwear). I basically holed myself up in my room all day and only came out to pet my dog like 4 times, eat, and go to the bathroom.

This heat has made me very irritable so it's for everyone's best interest for me to stay away from society.

Oh and I saw a couple jogging while naked so that was something I guess.

Today, temperatures sure took a drop. At midday, we were like 10 ºC (16 ºF) lower than yesterday at the same time.

Of course, part of this was due to the rain. It wasn't too severe over here, but other parts of my city received a torrential rain that turned streets into rivers.

The temperatures took a short rise once the sun and the blue sky came back, but overall the day has been like spring. Even now at night it's relatively chilly, so sleeping won't be as hard as in days prior.

I wish we could get more days like these, because having more than a week of continuous intense heat can drive anyone mad.

Today temperatures dropped as well over here. I think we hit like high 20s maybe, which is such a huge relief compared to the scorching heatwave we had lately.

Hope this can continue for the rest of the summer.

Even though there's been plenty of sun and clear skies, temperatures haven't risen all that much over here, and the nights are actually quite chilly.

It seems that they could stay like this for the remainder of the week, but apparently the weekend could see the entrance of more heat to start August with a bang.

Another nice summer day today. It wasn't hot outside, it was just nice and cozy with a fairly clear sky. I can't remember if it rained at one point or not but I really doubt it.

If this can carry on the way it's going my overall appreciation of summer would go up as it's currently my least favorite season.

The weather really isn't that bad today, it was high 80s, but compared to the high 90s we've been having, I'll take it. There was a storm late in the day, lots of lightning, but that'll just cool things down, which I won't complain about at all.

The weather is absolutely for the 1st day of August, not looking forward to what we had a few weeks ago that always comes back around the last few weeks and lasts until 1/2 way through September.

The weather is being horrible these last two days. Today we've been for several hours at 30ºC (86ºF) inside our home, which is a first time this season and demonstrates how summer is kicking heavily.

In fact, these last two days temperatures were quite stable, though also very hot. We hit 30ºC as early as 8 AM and it stays within the 30-33ºC (86-91,4ºF) up until 10 PM, and it's not like they go down much more after that because we've never been below 25ºC (77ºF), so sleeping is very difficult. If we weigh in humidity onto these values, then temperatures are even higher and the sensation of melting down is constant.

I can take the heat during the day because there's more than enough natural light, but during the night, such high temperatures coupled with high humidity (always above 65%) and the heat produced by the artificial light makes it an absolute pain. Either you melt down while doing things under the artificial light or you melt down while lying on the bed trying unsuccessfully to sleep.

The forecast says things shouldn't change all that much for the next days, so it's going to be a tough week.

It has been getting quite hot as of late for down here, we have been in the 100ºF for a couple of days, but it is that time of the year where my area will start seeing a whole lot of 100ºF days, combined with an occasional thunderstorm here and there.

The heat has apparently returned to see August go off with a bang, and it's not like things will be much different tomorrow so September will also start tough.

It's already past 9 PM and while temperature has gone below the 30ºC mark (86ºF) humidity makes it feel like it's still midday. Nights are also quite hot and it's not easy to fall asleep.

Getting back to the usual routines after August won't probably be easy with such climate. I hope things do die down from next week on.

Summer has already gone away for us. Temperatures have taken a drop during the weekend and they will stay cool for at least one more week, but I'm in to think that hot days are gone until next year.

Right now, there's been lots of thundering and lightning, and finally the announced rain shower with all its intensity has appeared. It could go worse as hours pass by and apparently tomorrow we also expect rain, so quite the tough time ahead.

The weather here hasn't been too bad (nice and sunny), although it has been in the mid to upper 100ºF's for the past week, and if you combined with the humidity it got up to around 120ºF.

As for today, we had a bit of relieve from the heat with temps in the low 90ºF's, and will be like that for most of the week.

Most of the time it's basically cold all year around and rainy too most of the time too. Which is mostly the *awful* weather we like to complain about so much although personally I don't think it's that bad. XD
