My Family has a history of bad illnesses so I've been a bit of a hypochondriac all of my life, a lot of the time I wonder if I have Diabetes.
Have you ever worried about being dangerously ill, and if so what we're you worried about,  and what made you worry?

I'm grateful to say I wasn't born with any dangerous disease but ones that would not like pass onto people. Which is another reason why I am happy with the types of condition I was born with. You know in the past and all with the plague and stuff that happened it was really sad. Like going from one person to another and killing like billions of people. I wondered how they recover from that? Anyways sorry about the babble. I wouldn't be happy if I was born with a contagious disease that spreads everywhere. @.@

I never worry that I might have a dangerous disease, but I am a germophobe so I tend to worry about catching germs and getting sick. I'm not sure why I worry about it but I really want to stop :/

PacmanandMariofan : My germophobia is pretty debilitating, you might want to get a little more comfortable around germs so you don't end up like me.

The first time I had STD blood tests I was a little nervous. Even though I knew I had always played safe, it was still scary that I might have caught something. Being in a steady, exclusive relationship somehow alleviates these fears

Well, like janus said, it was pretty nerve wracking to get my STD tests done, especially considering I did the complete opposite of playing it safe and went as far as actually sharing a needle on a few occasions. I must have a guardian angel or something because it's nothing short of a miracle I came out of that lifestyle clean. Not to mention I've never used "protection" once in my entire life either.

Other than that, I've worried from time to time about having diabetes, and still wonder about it now considering I never go to the doctor for anything. I fit most of the symptoms for it (fatigue, frequent / excessive urination, etc) and it runs in my family, so I should probably get that checked out. I wouldn't be as worried, but my diet doesn't exactly hold back on the sugar, so it's entirely possible I've been a diabetic for a few years now and just never noticed for one reason or another. That's actually what happened to my grandfather. He was a diabetic for years on end before we ever found out (or at least we think, there was no way of knowing for sure how long it had been that way), and it had caused all kinds of health issues. I really hope I don't follow in his footsteps when it comes to that...

Well, my entire family has diabetes, which I worry I might have. I mean, I'm not really a fan of junk food or sugar in general, but It would still be a blow.
I'm decently active and in decent shape however, so I hope that gives me a few years if not completely negates it, since I'm not sure it's genetic in our case (My family...isn't the healthiest bunch there is)

No worries, all these things are just about probabilities, if it comes to your share you are done otherwise saved.
