Appearances:  Tekken, Tekken 2, Tekken Tag Tournament, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Tekken Revolution

Kunimitsu made her debut in the very first Tekken game and has appeared in various cannon and non-cannon Tekken games. A kunoichi, or female ninja, Kunimitsu was once a member of the Manji Clan led by Yoshimitsu.  She was later exiled by Yoshimitsu after being caught looting for her own personal gain.  Despite being kicked out, she continued to loot and pillage for herself not changing her ways.  In the first King of the Iron Fist Tournament, Kunimitsu attempts to pilfer an Native American treasure stolen by Heihachi Mishima. Her attempt is futile as Michelle Chang defeats Kunimitsu and prevents her from stealing the treasure.  This left Kunimitsu embarrassed as she tried to recover from her setback by seeking her grandfather.  He tells Kunimitsu about the sword Yoshimitsu wielded and how it possessed extraordinary power.  Her grandfather had always wanted the sword in order to create his own version.  Kunimitsu decides to enter the second King of Iron Fist Tournament to defeat Yoshimitsu and claim his sword.  After the second King of Iron Fist Tournament, her whereabouts remain a mystery and it is unsure if she is living or deceased.

This article is very accurate.
Kunimitsu is out of touch like Forest Law and a bunch of other tekken characters.

At least they could carry on the existing feud with Kunimitsu vs Yoshimitsu but no  It seems the Tekken Devs don't care about Yoshimitsu.   He went into a short fighter feud with Bryan fury, and then.. It's not clear on what happened to him after Tekken 6.  Maybe he became corrupted or something.     This is why tekken can't be good as it is, there's too many Joke characters that could be used better imo.
