Money is quite scarce. Many of us millennials can't obtain enough of it, and others are hard pressed on spending it. Some might do incredibly absurd and dangerous things for cash, such as theft and robbery, through obviously deluded methods like manipulation, and trickery. People can use money for the greater good, but the use depends on the person. Say you were given a million dollars. The catch? Stay on an abandoned island for a year or kill a passerby. What would you do?!

Would you kill or stay on an island for a million dollars? Would you steal the money if it was offered to you? Would you take the million dollars if you were told to shut up for six months straight? Throw it out on the street.

First. I'll save some for myself and what I need which is. For bills. To buy a car to drive in so I can go from point A to B. The rest I'll give to the homeless or charities. Or mostly in general people that need help and a lending hand as well. You have many decision making what you can do with the money. The wise thing is at least save some for yourself to keep a roof over your head.

One million dollars nowadays isn't a whole ton of cash. I would start by paying off the rest of my house (180,000) and the cars (35,000). Then I would help with my family's debt (estimated 200,000 with brothers, sisters, parents, etc).

That leaves me with, more or less, 600,000 or so.

I don't have expensive tastes so I wouldn't run out and buy things. I don't really have much use for possessions so it would be evenly distributed between savings and IRA funds, my kids' college fund, and the last 200 grand would be spent traveling. I would travel with my family and with my wife a few times a year and go see the world. I've experienced a lot of world so far but there's so much more to see and do. I'd spend it learning about other cultures and immersing myself in those countries.

That would be fun.

If it came down to staying on a deserted isle or killing, I'd pass it up. I wouldn't steal it, but I would definitely try my best to keep quiet for it.

As far as what I would do with it, there would be great internal conflict and it would probably drive me insane. I'd be torn between hoarding it in fear of being broke again and giving it away to causes I deem worthy. Indecisiveness has always been a problem for me.

I would gladly shut up for 6 months for a million dollars. A lot of users on here would love for me not to post for 6 months straight,lol.

What would I do with a million?

1. Pay off any debt I have ever owed.
2. I want a new home.
3. New car.
4. I want to visit Okinawa.
5. Use what is left over to start my own business. I have one in mind,but certain events in the world would make that a tough sell.

And I'd be really smart with making the money last as long as possible. I'm kind of lazy in a way, so I'd use the money to live off of for as long as I possibly could, while still living about the same lifestyle as I do now.

However, I dont think I could kill another human being or animal. Only way I could kill an animal is if I am on a island and need food or i'm putting down an animal after I've done everything I can for it

Would you steal the money if it was offered to you? - Theres a contradiction in that xD If it was offered to you, then you wouldn't be stealing ;P But I suppose I would take it if I knew I wouldn't get caught/never get caught for it.

Would you take the million dollars if you were told to shut up for six months straight? - I don't talk as much as it it. So this is possible. Im curioius, am I able to type? Or is it making no contact what-so-ever? I could deffinitely do it if I could type.

Would you sell your valuable belongings for the money? - I dont really have much in the first place. And I could probably buy a new computer with the million dollars as long with a new phone and everything else I lost, So yeah, I would.

If you did get the money, what would you do with it? - I would buy essensials first. Food, water, shelter. Buy a ton of gaming systems, make a gaming room. Fly in my boyfriend from another state to come live with me xD Get a huskey. Whatever I dont use, I would donate to the ASPCA.

If I won a million dollars, I would mostly give it to the poor, since they need it way more than I do. I'd use the rest of my money to buy the necessary things for me to live, such as food, house etc...

2. New car
3. $10,000 gaming rig (lol)
4. Start a computer repair business.
5. put the rest away for kids (possibly)

Finally buy a proper gaming PC/Laptop lol. Most of what I'd use it for though would probably be saving for university so I could study abroad at a good one, maybe somewhere in the US. Other than that I'd work on getting a drivers license and maybe even a car. Depending on how much is left after that I'd probably want to try and donate at least a little bit to charity.

I would stay on an abandoned island for a year for a million dollars, but I don't think I could bring myself to kill someone for money.

I probably would not steal the money because of possible repercussions if I'm caught, but if it was just offered to me, then for sure, I would take it!

By shutting up for 6 months straight, I assume you mean actually talking, so I would do it. I don't talk much in real life anyways, so it wouldn't be too bad, as long as I could still communicate online or by writing stuff.

I would not sell my valuable belongings for a million dollars. I mean, sure a million dollars is worth waayyyyy more than all of my belongings combined, but I would lose all the memories and stuff associated with the items. And besides, if you gave it all away, to get it back, you would have to waste some of the million dollars you were just given.

If I were actually given the million dollars, I'd probably give a good chunk to charity. I'd put some in my college fund and possibly a retirement fund. I'd use the rest to invest in stocks, so I could possibly make even more money, if I invest wisely.

Invest it. The best thing to do with a boat load of money is invest it.

Or just put it in a bank to get a bunch (like $8) of interest. 

I'd spend it on things I want like games and stuff like that and would buy some things that just make me happy like chocolate and stuff like that. 

I would order a million McChicken Sandwiches from the MCDonald dollar menu. Or close to that because of tax but in reality i would be benefiting the city and mcdonalds

First thing I would do is probably give some to my parents, and then I would invest into a business of some sort, something that I know would make me more $$$$, but a million dollars would be nice right about now. I'd probably spend a few thousand on something nice too.

If I had a million dollars, the thing that I would want to do most of all would be to buy a cheap house, but also use that money to pay up front for the utilities for a couple of years so I wouldn't have to worry about having the money down the line. I wouldn't mind paying like 100K when I buy the house to cover electricity, gas, etc, for like 10 or so years.

If I had a million dollars, I'd open up an Arcade dedicated to Obscure games, like Photoplay & Megatouch.

Well Iask for a million dollars every year for Christmas when asked what I want. But what would Ido with it pay back all my debt and put the rest in the bank for whatever else i need down the line

Probably just keep it. I've never been the type of guy to spend a lot of money, I was always the kid who literally bought one big pack of stuff once every two years (most of my friends spent all their money almost instantly lol).

And I guess I'll be able to buy a better headset lol, my current one is trash.
