Anyone plan on seeing the upcoming Warcraft movie? I saw the trailers a couple times and I really like it, the settings and the look of the movie make me think back to movies like LOTR/The Hobbit, which I think can make the movie very popular to fans of those kinds of fantasy books and movies.

It's a movie based on a video game, and I think this could be one of the best video game movies ever because of that.

What do you think?

I'm somewhat apprehensive about it, but yes I would love to see it. I've played all the games since Warcraft 2 and really hope they do something great with the source material. The trailer looks phenomenal, but that doesn't mean anything in the long run. Only time will tell.

I would LOVE to see Illidan make an appearance, although I know that wish is a stretch

Mynamescox44 : LOL, I have never ever played the game before so I have no idea who you are talking about.

From what I have seen so far in some critic reviews, the movie's supposed to be pretty well recieved actually, so that's good. The movie had a really big budget so it would suck if it fails.

zanderlex : If Blizzard (the company behind the games) had anything to do with it's production, it should've turned out well. Almost everything they do they put the time and effort in to make it great. I didn't know it was already released. I might try and find it online for free somewhere because this is a film I've actually wanted to see for a while (and I'm broke as crap).

Mynamescox44 : Uh, it hasn't been released yet, not for like 2 more months, and yeah, it's a partnership between legendary and Blizzard.

It's directed by Duncan Jones though, he's directed good stuff before, but is still pretty newbie, with this being just the 3rd movie he has ever directed.
