Okay, so I just discovered something that many Anime fans probably already know...

I just acquired J-Stars for PS4, and have discovered something among different Anime's. The Anime, Dr. Slump, has a character named Arale Norimaki as the main protagonist. This character was also a character in the Dragon Ball Anime. The Penguin Village, home to Arale in Dr. Slump, also serves as Arale's home from Dragon Ball. Is it possible that this is intentional? I will look further into it to confirm this theory.

Dr Slump was made by Akira Toriyama. It's very easy to see the similarities between many characters in the early Dragon Ball series and characters in Dr Slump.

I ignore why Arale did have this cameo in Dragon Ball, but it's not the only one I've seen from Toriyama. Jaco, for example, is present in Resurrection F despite belonging to another universe.

It seems Toriyama has used Dragon Ball since ever to promote his other creations. It's understandable, 95% of his fans don't know anything else from him than what they have seen in Dragon Ball, and you just proved my theory.

That's a cool connection. I love when these writers put cross-over cameos in games and their shows. And Palen's right, Toriyama isn't well known for anything other than dragon ball. The only other thing I've known of was him working on Dragon Quest 8.
