I would like to compose a small tribute to one of the greatest presidents who ever lived. This man stood above all else, and held firm in times of hardship. He was always kind to those around him, but would take serious measures when the time called for it. If by now, you do not know who I am talking about, I shall enlighten you. I am speaking of the magnificent President Snow. He brought to us an era of peace, and order. He invented the greatest reality TV show ever. He even separated the nation into Districts where everyone did the same specific tasks, such as District 12 and its mining industry. It definitely made it easier for children to decide what they wanted to be when they grew up. But then that terrible "Bird" started a rebellion against the Capitol, and destroyed our peaceful land. President Snow's efforts to end this madness were great, but they did not succeed. Thank you for your service President Snow. We will always remember the legacy you created. And maybe one day there will come another President as great as you. But until then. Happy Presidents' Day. And may the odds be ever in your favor.

Wow, this is good, lol. When I read the first few sentences, I thought you were going to honor Abraham Lincoln. You were talking about "stood above everyone else" so I assumed you were talking about Lincoln as he was very tall. This twist was almost that of an M. Night Shymalan movie. This was a pretty funny post, but I didn't like President Snow at all. I mean, I wasn't supposed to like him, so I think he did his job, but he was more of a dictator than a president.

TheBWoods15 This...my only response is to laugh at it. This is pretty funny, and true, somewhat. I mean, being completely honest, I would abhor and detest the Hunger Games, were they an actual thing in real life, but I would definitely watch them and enjoy doing so. Good thread, I thought this was going to be some sort of political thing for a second, lol.

Good post though! I'll be happy to support you in the fact that President Snow did all these things, including the bringing of prosperity into the Capitol, at the very least, but due to the oppression of the other people, I'm happy he fell, in the end.

But Coin was even worse than he was. She'd have been a dictator who essentially used the hype, thrill, and motivations of the revolutionaries under her authority to succeed in a coup de etat and then bring into power an even worse regime that could never be toppled from power, as the surviving rebels would be split up, some of them supporting the new bureaucrats and others detesting them, but not willing to act, as a very slim few rose up, and the new government would control all military installations from both sides of the previous war.

This has been a random thought splurge, lol.

Don't listen to them, Mr. President. You're a manly frog.
Now let's go get you some socks.

I like to think of President Snow as merely misunderstood by the rebels, to be honest. I bet if they really had a nice conversation in his office like he tried to with that wretched Katniss, none of that would have happened. But no. The rebels were too impatient with him and things went downhill fast.

Oats : Dude! I know right! Katniss is totally the villain here! Snow kept everyone up at almost modern styles of living, and then somehow used that to make the Capitol insanely awesome! He's a political hero, to be completely honest!
