Either BO2 for xbox one, or Sonic 3 and Knuckles. Two of my favorite games of all time.

The games I would like to see remastered is first off Contra and Contra 2 for the classic NES(Nintendo Entertainment system), the original games are just so hard and fun with a great story and concept (not to mention I kinda liked the bit era graphics) and then after those two games I'd like to see Metal Warriors for the SNES(Super Nintendo gaming system ) get remastered, because I loved its story and concept it really was different and stood out and easily the best game in the genre of anime mecha/mecha suits plus the art and graphics were cool and almost cyper punkish.

The games I'd like to see remastered are:

The Xenosaga series

Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud 2

OKAGE Shadow King

Kuon

Breath of Fire: Dragons Quarter

Musashi: Samurai Legend

I'd buy them all in an instant if they all got remasters, I really love these games. They're all PS2 titles, and I think some of them weren't even as popular or well known back then, so I don't really know exactly how well they'd sell today but I think they're really good games who deserve remasters.

Divine Aurora : Contra is one of those games I love but hate. Lol I did beat it once though, but only because it was two player and we used the Konami code. I'd like to see it remastered too.

Gothika : Thank you for saying Samurai Legend Musashi! I have that one and thought it was really good (though I have yet to get a good chance to finish it). I would love seeing that one remastered. The others I have never played sadly.

I have a few. For one, i've been LONGING and LUSTING for there to one day be a Final fantasy VI remake in any capacity, and an HD remake with beautiful cinematics and voice acting would be prettty awesome, ya gotta admit. I also want the first 2 infamous games to come to PS4 someday, because i've never gotten a chance to play them otherwise, and they look like alot of fun!

Some of the old side scrollers and top down shooters from the NES era would be awesome to see redone.

I imagine an HD version of Contra or Guerilla War and I get... excited? Let's use that word instead of the other word I thought about. Yeah, I get fired up about those games being HD. I could simultaneously relive my childhood within the technological range of my adulthood. Guerilla War would especially be awesome because it was so built on explosions and shooting and flamethrowers and more.

Ghostbear1111 : I keep hearing about Guerrilla War. It makes me wonder what I missed. Lol I'll have to check it out someday.

Contra would be pretty sweet too. I loved that one. I'm a sucker for the old NES/SMS/Arcade releases on modern consoles man.

I could probably sit here and make a huge list of games, I can think of over 500 games that definitely could get a remaster, from the ground up and would be really badass. Although there are a few games already that I hope to see make a return in remaster form and they are great. Look at Carmageddon: Reincarnation and Gauntlet. I love both of those games. Personally I never thought that I would ever see a remaster of both, and really both games are not just a remaster, they are what I like to call a remaster and more. It's nice when the developers put time and effort into their remasters, unlike some devs that just slap a new coat of paint and release it. Especially those that were on last gen consoles and didn't even have a full year of being released *Cough* The Last of Us*Cough*

The first game that comes to mind that I want to see remastered is the Ghost N Goblins/Ghouls N Ghosts games. We all know how these games are tough as hell, but at the same time, I feel they are classics, and definitely a huge part of retro gaming. I would love to see a remaster of both of these games, either do them in the traditional 2D side scrolling style, just remaster it from the ground up, maybe add new levels, more enemies and so on. Give it the same treatment that Duck Tales: Remastered had, make it worthy of being remastered. Maybe it could lead to a sequel, or maybe a brand new Maximo game, since Maximo is part of the Ghosts N Goblins series.
The next one I bring up all the time and that is Sunset Riders. Now yes we have had a nice variety of western games, we have Gun, Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Revolver, Call of Juarez, but Sunset Riders had such a light hearted feel to it, the game was funny, the game was full of bright colors and it was action packed. It is definitely one of my favorite side scrolling shooter/platformer, and if it was remastered, maybe it could spark interest in a brand new game, but I doubt it will since Konami owns the rights to it, which is a damn shame.

Monster Truck Madness, now I know what you are thinking, really a monster truck game? Back in the day Monster Truck Madness 1 and 2 were badass, they were very well done for it's time, and I use to play them for hours, especially the second game. Sure we have the Monster Jam series but MTM 2 almost seemed a bit more realistic, especially with the downloadable tracks, and trucks, which is pretty damn nice. If you take all of that, add more realism, and allow the game to be modded, I think it would be awesome, especially if you release both games for $20 to $30. I think $20 would definitely be worth it.

Redneck Rampage is another game I would love to see remastered. There are FPS games like System Shock being remastered, and that looks amazing, Doom had that sequel/remaster/new game that kicks a lot of ass. The later Wolfenstein games have been very well done. Then you have Shadow Warrior and Rise of the Triad kicking a lot of ass too. Well maybe it's time Redneck Rampage shines a bit. Imagine of they take the goofy redneck characters, did a complete overhaul on the game, throw all the stuff the expansion packs had into one whole game, and make it one action packed old school style FPS with a nice variety of weapons, power ups and all of that. Have some goofy redneck voice overs, a great kick ass country/rockabilly soundtrack, I would definitely be excited for this. Maybe it could get interest in a new game as well.

Speaking of classic FPS games, how about Duke Nukum. Now I know you are thinking, there is already a Duke Nukem 3D remaster being released with the 20th anniversary collection. Well I am not talking about Duke 3D. I am talking about Duke Nukum, the old classic Apogee 2D side scrolling shooter/platformers. I know that 3D Realms tried a similar game later on with Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project, but if you take the original Duke Nukum episodes, throw in Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project and maybe some new missions and so on. I would definitely love to see that. Although with Gearbox in ownership of Duke, I doubt we will ever see that.

These are just some of many like I said, maybe I will add more later to this thread, I could definitely go on and on

Eirinn : I would love to see the entire PacMan world Trilogy remastered into one game and put on the WiiU! That would be my number 1. Also, mario 64, mario sunshine and the galaxy games would be amazing to have in hd (While they're at it they should fix the camera in 64!) Here's one that would just be a smart idea on nintendo's part. How about Metroid, Metroid 2, Super metroid, Metroid Fusion, and the metroid prime series. Fighting ridley would be all the more satisfying in HD! Those are some of the things that I would like.

HeavyMetalGamer : I heard that was deleted, but I will definitely check it out, Metroid 2 is the only game that I have missed...Mainly because I couldn't deal with the whole black and white ordeal. I finished metroid 1 by way of zero mission, but a 2.5d of the series would be awesome!

I would love to see Secret of Mana or Final Fantasy Tactics be redone, properly. I know there is a FFT for the GBA and PSP and to its credit the PSP version feels more authentic in the dialogue. But I would love to see a FFT that is online. Make a party with other people and then have them either go and do a mission or if you want to,raid other players.

I would love to see Resident Evil 2 and 3 get HD Remakes for more modern consoles like they did with the original.

There's just so much potential there, and they could earn a crap-ton of money just with the RE name on the label, along with giving people the original atmosphere that made the franchise so popular in the first place.

If they just did the same thing with 2 / 3 that they did with 1, adding a bunch of new content and polishing everything, fans like me would go crazy with excitement lol. Heck, even doing it with Code Veronica would be really cool to see.

I recently purchased a Digital copy of the original's Remake, and can't wait to play through it again. It's one of my most favorite games of all time.

Five Nights at Freddy's 1 and 2. Scott actually said that he's working on remastering at least the first one and releasing it for consoles, so I'm hyped. I hope he eventually remasters the second one as well, and maybe even the rest in the distant future, haha.

Seeing how things are unfolding, I'd like to see a remaster of F-Zero X or GX. Nintendo has seemingly grounded this series and is aiming for a spiritual successor, so a remaster of an old game seems the only way in which we could use the Blue Falcon for its intended purpose instead of running over people

Again, seeing how things are unfolding, maybe a remaster of Soulcalibur III-IV wouldn't be half bad. The last main game was very bad, and since then they've given no signs of life. True is that Namco is heavily focused in Tekken 7, but for a big company like them it's no excuse to be focused on a single game. Maybe Soulcalibur will have the same fate as Tekken and not span games as often as they used to (last core game is from 2012), so for the meantime we could use a remake like they did with Soulcalibur II HD.

A remastered Zelda: Skyward Sword would be great, as they've already done that with Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, and Twilight Princess, why not more? It would allow for some of the glitches to be fixed, as well as the possibility of a new control scheme, which I desperately want. I'd also like to see more remastered Mega Man games, in the style of Powered Up and Maverick Hunter for the classic and X series respectively for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch, but that is a really large stretch. If anything, we'd get a new Mega Man compilation (looking at you Mega Man Legacy Collection 2) before any new content or even a remake. Lastly, I would really love to see a remake of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, which is extremely likely that those are the remakes being planned for the Switch in 2018. I think that story was really good, and if done in the new graphical style of Pokemon, it would do wonders, as well as Gen 5-7 Pokemon available, and the possibility of new Mega evolutions, there are so many things that the remakes could do to improve (such as actually placing the Battle Frontier from Platinum, unlike what ORAS did).

An HD remaster for Xenoblade Chronicles would be absolutely gorgeous. One of the largest worlds in a video game I've ever played and an excellent action RPG. I love the battle system. I think the only real negative about the game is the fact that they had to have really rough textures as a result of being on the Wii. If it were remastered for ANY other console from either the current or last generation, it would look fantastic, and already looks pretty good considering that limitation.

Honestly, I'd love to see some 2D classic games remastered. I have already seen a remastered version of Galaga in an arcade, the Pixel Arcade at Disney World in fact.

I feel like other classic shooter games would be the best 2D ones to remaster, and you'd better believe I'd like to see the original Pac-Man remastered. XD

The most sweet thing, though, would be for 2D games to get a 3D remake. Pac-Man's maze has been remade in 3D in Pac-Mania. But I can't imagine how cool a 3D version of Bosconian, Galaga, or Dig Dug would be.
