I have mixed feelings about the show. Some episodes are great, and others just feel like duds. Louise is by far my favorite character, so the more involved she is, the more inclined I am to enjoy the episode. I hate the mom though. There's many things about her that I can't stand. It takes away from the show for me, because I find it hard to believe someone could put up with a personality like that. I loved the episode about Tina getting her dad to dress up in My Little Pony-ish cosplay to try and retrieve her stolen horse figurine. That and the one about the kids finding the ambergris and trying to pawn it off. Gene has his moments, but sometimes it's over the top for me, even more so for Tina.

I'm not particularly fond of the show because when I first heard about it I decided to watch the show but really disliked it in general. It has its moments though however after some point I decided to shy away from it and haven't came back to watch it ever since.
