It is incredibily depressing, but I think Reggie, if he hasn't already, will convince Nintendo to not translate it. But this is the closest we've ever come! Maybe it will be released alongside the Lucas amiibo?

Just like I always said, why does Japan have all the good stuff. I am jealous.

It would be nice for North America and Europe to get Mother 3, because there is a lot of people like to play as Lucas (not on Super Smash, on Mother 3), and figure, with Lucas's popularity on Super Smash Bros, you figure that Nintendo release Mother 3 outside of Japan.

That's awesome! But just because it gets a Japanese release doesn't mean the US will get one. Japan got a Rhythm Heaven 3DS sequel and we never did::(((

Although if you want to play Mother 3 so bad, I'd recommend downloading the English translation ROM. It's not too hard to find. If you need help, I can give you some links, too.
