I liked Battle Network more than the traditional Mega Man Games, so I've got to say MM Battle Network 3 is my favorite (I had White, while a friend had Blue :p)

The second one in all honesty. Which is Megaman. 2 I know I haven't completed the game but I have played enough to say what my opinion on it is about. The game is very upbeat as for the music there are a lot of epic things about the way the game is made. And I don't really think that you will get too bored of it. Not unless you have played it so many times to the point that you do get bored of the game. But what I can never be board of are the soundtracks.

My first introduction was Mega Man 2. And what was not to like about it? The graphics were colorful and good, the sound was great, the controls were spot on and the weapons were creative and awesome. What was not to love about beating Metal Man,taking his weapon, and then buzzsaw everything in your path in 8 directions and with next to energy cost? This is a game that many gamers like myself cut our teeth, learned precision and patience and perseverance.

To Eniitan: When you do make it to the last stage, beware of the red acid drips from above, they will mess you up. I could tell you how to beat Wily, but I think the true joy is figuring it out for yourself. I will give you a hint though;it is your least likely weapon.

I'm just going to put my pick for the classic series and the X series because that's the two I'm most familiar with ^^'.

For the classic series, I'd have to pick either Mega Man 2 or 7. Yes, I said 7 xp. I would also say 3, but the extra levels with the doc robots was very annoying. 2 had the metal blade which was over powered, but also really fun to mess around with. I also enjoyed the game as a whole. 7 was the first megaman game I've ever played, and tbh I liked the graphics of the game. Yes, the sprites were rather large, but you get used to that eventually. The shop system and all the upgrades (combining with rush was awesome) was also a nice addition. I know that in 6 you can also combine with rush but I like how 7 did it better. 4, 5, and 6 all mesh together and 1 was okay. 8 is okay, but eh... I didn't like it as much xp. never played 9 or 10, and while they look decent, I honestly didn't like how they went back to 8-bit.

For the X series (which is also my favorite megaman series) it's either 4 or 5. I liked the first one, but I liked the graphics of 4, 5, and 6 better. Besides you can play as Zero so wooooo xp. 4 was pretty solid, even if the voice acting was bad, and while 5 was sorta collection heavy (lots of backtracking for upgrades wooo) I also really enjoyed that game. The story for both was also better than the first 3, even if it did get sorta confusing. 6... has it's own flaws that makes it annoying at times, 7 was boring and the 3D aspect was bad, 8 is decent, but I'm not a huge fan of the redesigns :p. Command Mission is a spinoff so I don't count that.

Out of the choices you gave us, I would choose Mega Man 2. But if you're asking for my absolute favorite Mega Man game of all time, it would be Mega Man ZX Advent. I love it so much, I don't know exactly what it is about it. Perhaps I'll review one day to give a better idea of why I like it.

Well when I was a kid Megaman X was the only Megaman game I could beat, I like it because the bosses are so much more detailed, and there are so many secrets in the middle of levels that cause you to go back and collect them, especially if you want to beat the last boss.

In the traditional Megaman series perhaps controversially my favorite is 7, it just looks and plays nice.
