It strikes me that anyone who says Final Fantasy is repetitive but likes Pokémon is the same as anyone who says Pokémon is repetitive but likes Final Fantasy. The only difference is there are fewer Final Fantasy games out there.

Unpopular Opinion: If you spent money on all the Pokémon games, and I mean all of them, you're a sucker.

I have an opinion that most people on here probably will not share. I think that the Nintendo Switch will fail. For one, the only reason the Wii U sold is because It was released a year before all the other consoles were. The Switch, on the other hand, is being released 3 years after all the other next-gen console. Second, it doesn't have that much third-party support. And most of the third party games that are being released for it have a better version on PC or another console, such as Skyrim, Minecraft, and The Binding of Isaac. And while I will admit that the Switch has it's fair share of games that look excellent such as Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, and Xenoblade Chronicles 2, I just don't think a few great games alone will be enough to make the console succeed in the market.

I realize that this is more of a rant than an opinion, but I still felt the need to share it.

No matter what you think of it, The PlayStation 4 is technically the best console we have ever had.

My opinion is that Nintendo has become a bloated, outdated, shell of its former self. The Nintendo Switch looks to be a a Wii U,just a different package. And they really shot themselves in the foot with making it so you have pay to go online through their service. If you do not have a lot of 3rd party support, your system will flounder. Just like the 3DO,Turbo Graphix 16,Neo Geo.

I suppose that my unpopular gaming opinion would be that I really don't like shooting games of any kind. They just make me tense the whole time I'm playing, and I don't enjoy that feeling...it spoils the whole experience for me

I totally prefer games that I can relax while playing.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is a boring game and I don't really understand how anyone could enjoy playing a game that's fast-paced but still so defensive.

Nintendo is innovating with stuff that no one wants. No one cares about HD Rumble. No one cares about motion controls. No one cares about games based almost entirely on a touchscreen (we have phones for that anyways). They need more 3rd-party support and they need to learn that people don't want just family-friendly cartoon-graphics games. There are plenty of great Nintendo games, sure, but overall I feel like it's a waste to get a Nintendo console past the 3DS unless you only play E-rated games with Mario or Pokemon.

Fallout 3 has a nice atmosphere but otherwise is a pretty awful game. New Vegas is excellent on the other hand.

Call of Duty games are fun. The problem is that they all feel exactly the same except with a few annoying/useless changes. Modern Warfare 2 was the pinnacle of the franchise, and the series has gotten worse and worse over time.

The soundtrack of DOOM (2016) is awful and I much prefer the classic game's soundtrack.

The XBOX One is a waste of money. There's hardly any exclusives and most of them are pretty bad.

Pokemon games aren't that great. They're fun timewasters, sure, but I just don't think they're amazing enough to be the bestselling games on so many consoles.

The original Metroid Prime is pretty boring, but Hunters is really fun. Metroid Fusion is the best in the entire franchise.

I hate PvP in shooter games.

Look past all the J-Pop and K-Pop nonsense and I enjoyed the creativity and development of skills with characters in Final Fantasy X-2.

I wonder what the character limit on this thing is.

Here's one of my unpopular gaming opinions: Uncharted 2, the title held by many (possibly most) Uncharted fans as the greatest entry in the series, in my opinion is easily the worst among the console titles in the series.

Among Thieves (Uncharted 2) had the worst story of all four titles. It used characters that were more annoying than the murderous big bad and all other enemies combined, as one of the three leads.

It minimized Sullivan's role, relegating him to a near cameo category. One of the three people that the entire series was built on, and it made him the guy that bailed Nate out at the start, ran one chapter, and bailed until the thirty second appearance he got in the final cutscene. Instead he was replaced by Chloe Frazier, a character that, sad as it sounds since sex symbol characters are degrading to a serious gamer and fan, was hopefully meant as an excuse to make dirty jokes because that was the only purpose she could have possibly filled well. No really, she stinks as a support character, and is just generally annoying. Sadly the first half of the game is focused on some plot point involving her.

While it sported some of the best action scenes in the entire series, beyond those few moments, 2 felt more lackluster as an experience overall. The story, even past Chloe's role, felt uninspired to me, with it's only redeeming factor being the end and the enemies and setting of the final few chapters. The story itself was never good, just meh at best.

Instead of filling the inevitable plot hole left in the past and the why's left by a first entry in what's supposed to be a big story, it created more, and expected us to be able to appreciate them.

The gameplay wasn't on par with Drake's Deception (Uncharted 3), A Thief's End (4), or even Drake's Fortune (the first one). It shined in a few special scenes, dragged through most, and was decent by Uncharted standards the rest of the time.

In the end, Among Thieves was a good game overall, but it paled in comparison to the other three. It had it's high points, but no, it wasn't the best, nor was it even third best or second worst.
