Just tested netplay for the first time, only a two player game, but still no lag, using Chrome, with one more window open and not caring about CPU usage. The system was Turbo Grafx, maybe next time I'll try PSX, caring about CPU usage just in case.

It would be super cool if we could find a way to allow users without the Playstation item to join Ps1 netplay sessions.

The way it is right now really limits the people you are able to play with whom not only have a decent computer and net connection, but also possess the item.
