Tech Support (1-2 roles available)
Your responsibility is to help out users with anything related to the Retro Game Room. You'll be in charge of responding to Private Messages sent to the RGR Staff inbox and you'll also be responsible for taking care of problems and issues users have in the RGR forums.
Requirements:
-Trusted Member or higher
-You must have great knowledge of everything relating to the RGR and the RGR Plugin and you should be very tech savvy (please prove this to us with your response)


Video Game Character Manager (3+ roles available)
Your job is to add missing video game characters and missing game franchises to the Video Game Characters feature on vizzed. You'll also be in charge of organizing the characters by making sure the current characters are assigned to their proper game franchise and you'll also be in charge of adding details to game characters that are missing details or have wrong information. Lastly, you'll also be in charge of accepting or declining characters and franchises that regular users request to have added.
Requirements:
-You must have submitted 250 screenshots to the site
OR
-You must have 100 total CP points for the 'Screenshot Rated' action (you can find that info here)
OR
-Trusted Member or higher


Walkthrough Maker (1+ roles available)
You must write 1-2 walkthroughs a month for the site. The walkthroughs need to be at least 1000 words.
Requirements:
-You need to show us a walkthrough you've made as proof that you're capable of making good walkthroughs. If you haven't ever made one, go ahead and make one.


Review Writer (1+ roles available)
You must write 2-4 reviews a month for the site.
Requirements:
-You need to show us a review you've made as proof that you're capable of making good reviews. If you haven't ever made one, go ahead and make one.


Article Writer (1+ roles available)
You must write 3-6 articles a month for the site.
Requirements:
-You need to show us an article you've made as proof that you're capable of making good articles. If you haven't ever made one, go ahead and make one.


Game Tester (2-3 roles available)
Your job is to test out games in the Retro Game Room with the RGR Plugin.
Requirements:
-Trusted Member or higher


Price Guide Manager (2-3 roles available)
Your job is to filter through the ebay listings which are used to calculate the prices for the Price Guide feature. Additional responsibilities will be added in the future.
Requirements:
-Trusted Member or higher


Screenshot Adder (1-2 roles available)
Your job is to find games missing screenshots and to fill in screenshots for those games.
Requirements:
-You must have submitted 250 screenshots to the site
OR

Site Owner (1 role available)
Your job is to take care of the site by financially supporting it, coding for it, advertising it, reading and responding to 100s of PMs per a week, coming up with new ideas, resolving conflicts, dealing with hostage situations, etc.
Requirements:
-Willing to invest 40+ hours into the site each week and up to 80 hours some weeks
-Must be willing to go days without sunlight and have very few real life friends
-Must have a very powerful computer Adobe Creative Cloud and other various paid software
-PHP knowledge, MySQL knowledge, Web Design knowledge, Graphic Design knowledge & SEO knowledge


Video Adder (1+ roles available)
Your job is to record gameplay videos of games in the RGR, preferably for games that don't have any videos.
Requirements:
-You must have submitted 25 videos to the site
OR
-You must have 100 total CP points for the 'Video Rated' action (you can find that info here)


Additional Requirements (each position also requires the following)
-Willing to invest 5-10 hours into the site each week for each of your roles
-You are at least 13 years old
-Haven't been banned in the past year


You may apply to more than 1 position which increases your chances of getting hired (or if you pick positions that not many users picked) but you'll only be given 1 role to start out with but you can take on more if you're interested later on.

Review Writer I have written well over 15 and 8+ are featured here are my best 3. I am capable of writing long and creative reviews in my own unique style as I like to add in sections that most reviewer do not add in. So I do use the same concept as most reviews but I do like to stray from what they do so they know I like my own different style of reviews, all of my replies are positive and I enjoy it when people love the work as I make reviews just for everyone to see and love.

Video Adder Because I have over 25 videos and about 200 cp from video ratings I try to make my videos at 30 minutes long and I make about 2-3 a week and I am trusted. And recording videos is one of my favourite things to do because I want people to feel the joy I felt from playing that specific game and the experience I had. And whenever I record something on Vizzed for my Youtube I always tell my subscribers or my twitch followers about Vizzed. 


I have never been banned before, I am trusted, over 13, I will also spend 5-10+ hours on the job I am given, and I am at the required stage for these positions I am asking for thank you for looking at my application. I have been apart of Vizzed for 4 and a half years so I know a lot of things as well. I also feel that I can contribute to Vizzed more with this position and I have always wanted to help this site grow.

I'd like to state my continued interest for the price guide manager position even though you said that we'll only start out with one role.

Mainly because not many applied for it and I still think I'm a good fit for since I've moved a lot of listings and I'm confident that I'd be able to handle it along side being a review writer. Davideo7 : just again, is there any way to get around the ban rule? A lot of users say id be good for a staff position after improving my conduct recently, so I was wondering if I can still get a job as staff even though I was banned in mid 2014.

Zlinqx : I might be willing to give you a 2nd role if it's the Price Guide Manager role only because no one has taken it yet and it's in high demand.

I would like to apply for the following positions (and I would be able to do multiple if needed) 

Site Owner:
I have hundreds of dollars already saved up and ready to invest into the site. I know lots of all types of code, I already advertise the site, I can read all those PM's and do what they want no matter how dumb the thing, I can handle disputes, and I have already delbt with plenty of hostage situations. I already do go days without sunlight, have no real life friends, have a VERY powerful computer, and I know all about the coding of the site. I even developed my own version of the RGR plug in with Play Station 5 games on it. And wouldn't it be fun to make me site owner for a few minutes as a (very mean) practical joke lol 

Tech Support: 
I already help many users with problems relating to the RGR in the forms, and in the chat rooms. I know much about the plug in, and I know about common and not so common problems with the RGR plug in on Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, and Windows Vista. I have worked with all of these kinds of computers. And I know a lot about all of the emulators such as the MESS and MAME emulators along as I know a ton about Mednafen. 

Price Guide Manager: 
I have already moved around 2,200 E-Bay listings, along with reported quite a few to be removed from the price guide. I do this a good amount, and I know a lot about the E-Bay listings job. While this isn't always the most thrilling job, I enjoy looking at how people sell games because I like to buy a lot of weird games. It is just something I enjoy doing. 

Walkthrough Maker: 
I've made many walkthroughs, including an 18,000 word one once, and this is another thing that I enjoy doing. I know a lot about many games and easily make very descriptive guides. Here are a few examples:

Davideo7 : I didn't see trusted member or higher on review writer. Well I am going to say this. I spend a lot of time in the Retro Game Room daily, and I actually plan to write more game reviews since I got my plugin to start working properly, this will give me the time to play more video games and time to write reviews more. So I am asking and applying to this one right here, I only have one review written and it's in my opinion good and in detail too, it's over 800 words. Of course the writer wont get much attention for boasting, but still I think it's decent for a first review.

Eh, if Barathemos is willing to give it another shot, I might as well too. 

I'd like to apply for Tech Support. Now, while I may not know everything about the site, I do know how to use the resources that are on the site to help people. I used to come into chat to basically do just this, but I haven't lately because users don't seem to come into chat asking for help that much these days. I still get the occasional PM from a newbie asking for help, and I'm always happy to help. It gives me something to do in my boring day to day life. 

I would also like to throw my hat into the Video Game Character Manager. I have submitted 349 screenshots since the CP system was added, and while I only have 35 of the 100 screenshot rated actions, I am a trusted member of the site. That would give me 2 for 3 when you only need 1 to be eligible.  I've had to add a few characters over the past couple of months to accurately do ALL of the characters that appear in some of my screenshots, so I feel that I am eligible for this position than Tech Support, if I am completely honest with myself. 

I also feel confident enough to apply for Game Tester. With my hours at work, and just what my job entails, it leaves me with about 80% of my downtime being boring with nothing going on. Something like this would be perfect for me. Although it would not be my first choice, I am a Trusted Member, so I meet the only requirement that this position asks for. 

The position I am most confident in my ability to do is Price Guide Manager. I do a lot of eBay moving actions during the Tour de Vizzed months, and I meet the trusted member requirement. I have gotten the hang of what it takes to do it responsibly during the Tour de Vizzed months after a pair of warnings. Thanks to Gamin' Gal's ( I think it was ) guide, it greatly helped. Having a digital copy category would also help. I have 1,489 eBay movings, and I would like to safely assume that maybe 3% or less are mistakes or mis-clicks, putting them into the wrong category. I try to make sure I correct them, though, and if I see something that does not belong, or a lot, I report it to the staff so that they can take of it. 

Lastly, I would like to apply for the Screenshot Adder role. While I would put this next to Tech Support in terms of confidence in the effectiveness of the position, I feel like i could do the job. The only thing would be finding the games that need the screenshots. I have 349 screenshots, so I make the requirement for the position. 



I hope you seriously consider my application, and I think you for taking the time to read it thoroughly. 

EDIT: I was going to apply for the owner position since what I like doing the most is behind the scenes parts and I've done stuff in other sites that would give a huge boost like design and SEO/advertsiing, and I'm always on, but I'm going to drop it since I don't know if I would be able to pay for any of the programs in time.

Oh boy I'm a little nervous. I'd like to apply for reviewer. I've been in a couple writing classes in college so I'm a bit more confident in my writing skills than before. Davideo7 : I will try to make myself a case for Walkthrough Maker. I have only done one walkthrough so far, but I was told by Jordan that it was "very extensive" and "very complete." Honestly, I haven't been that active lately but I could try to do at least one a month. However, I can confess that I'll only probably do one a month but I can guarantee you, each walkthrough I make will be greatly detailed. And for that to happen, it will probably take me a while to do. I guess what I'm trying to say is none of my guides will be slapped together, even if I've played the game a hundred times. I will more than likely pay attention to every little detail about the game ( or try to anyway ).

And that brings me to why I want this position. It would be something different for me on this website. If I could, I want to just try this out just to see how it is and how I do...like a "get my feet wet" sort of thing. As I said, I haven't been very active as of late but this would make me a lot more active. I probably don't have as much experience as others but I will certainly try to learn from the more experienced as I'm doing this job and frankly, this will also make me a better writer.

I don't think I'm helping my case at all when I say I'm not that experienced...I'm just trying to be honest. However, I think I hit a home run with the one walkthrough that I have done. But I do have one question for this field; Would we be able to use our own recording software for the videos or are we only allowed to use the built-in RGR recorder? This would be a great opportunity for me to experiment on some new recording devices but I understand if we are only allowed to use built-in RGR recorder.
