Which are you most focused on? Be honest; I'll keep this poll open for 3 weeks.

Since I am involved with both, let me just put it out there that there two aren't competitors, nor will ever be.

They're two very different facets of the same site.

The RGR has hundreds of players visiting it each day, and the Minecraft Server has maybe a dozen or so extremely dedicated players most of which use the forums too. The RGR has a fleet of Staff members to take care of it, and Minecraft only requires 5-6 because it's so small.

Even if a lot of Minecraft players see this and vote (because most, but not all, of our Minecrafters are involved in the community), that won't change the fact that hundreds of non-forum members are playing in the RGR at this very moment.

So I wouldn't worry that any significant amount of people are moving from the RGR to the Minecraft.
I personally love both and haven't seen any conflict.

Neither. Usually chat room or forums. Maybe there are not enough options for a full site check. And at that point, why not do a full site check?

If it's just the RGR, then I will go with Minecraft because I really don't pay too much attention to much in the RGR whereas I spend some time in Minecraft.

I'd have to admit, I've been mostly focused on the Minecraft server. 

This doesn't deny the fact I've spent MAYBE hundreds of hours in the RGR, at least in total.

Both are, like EM said, completely separate instances to me. I don't even compare the two in anything, except the fact it's vidya games for me.

I never use the RGR or the Minecraft server. Neither thing interests me a hell of a lot. I spend most of my time on the forum, or within my Rented Forum.

However, when I DO play a game that is either hosted on this site or on the server, I do tend to play Minecraft more. Barely.

I personally invest way more time into the Retro Game Room compared to the Minecraft server. I probably spend less than 5 hours a week on the Minecraft server compared to a ton of hours in the Retro Game Room. I invest 40+ hours a week working on the site and a good amount of that is usually dedicated to the RGR in some way. Sometimes it is nice to take a break from the site or to use the time that I'm not working to just relax and enjoy the Minecraft server. If all I did was work all the time and never took time to enjoy myself a little, I'm pretty sure I'd go insane lol.

The RGR isn't going anywhere, don't worry about that tRIUNE if that was a concern. 10,000s of users use the RGR each day while only around 10 users use the Minecraft server each day. The RGR is far more important to the site but the Minecraft server I think helps out as well. Users have to invest Viz to do certain things on that server and in order to earn Viz, they have to contribute to the site. Users also create awesome things which draws in traffic from Minecraft users around the web when those creations are shown off in some way (either by using the Vizzed YouTube account or from screenshots from Google images).

I have spent almost no time in the RGR and have spent hours and hours on the Minecraft server. It's not even close.

I have never played Minecraft. I don't know why, but I'm not interested in that game. However, there are a ton of things I find interesting in the RGR, and not everything is good old memories. Pretty clear where my vote went.

Considering I've only played Minecraft for a few hours when it was still in beta, there's no comparison. I have spent countless hours playing games in the RGR and adding various content. Sadly, Minecraft doesn't hold my interest for more than a few mins at a time.

The Vizzed server has gotten me interested in trying it again if I obtain a copy.

It's ironic that I replied to this thread saying I invest less than 5 hours a week into the Vizzed Minecraft server because some weeks are an exception such as this week where I may end up spending as much as 10 hours on the server. The reason though is because I've set aside work relating to the Vizzed Minecraft server for a while now and I'm finally getting around to fixing and adding things.

Jordanv78 : At very least it'd be worth your time to just explore the creations. There have been a lot of cool video game themed structures that I know you'll appreciate. I'll probably have some more Minecraft accounts up for rent in around a month. In 3-5 months I'll be making the accounts I created last year available for rent again since the current renters will have their time expired (unless of course they renew but I bet half of them wont).

Davideo7 : Valid point. I agree. I've looked at some of the stuff you guys have made on that map plugin you fixed the other day. Some of them look cool. I would at least like to hang out and mess around with some of the Vizzed members while looking at what you guys have built up close.

Dsvideo7: I respect that you want to have some fun by hosting a minecraft server, but you never respond to the private forums here at vizzed which are regarding the RGR (My posts in particular).

I have times when I am seriously into the RGR (like competitions or when I find a new game) but recently I have been on the minecraft server all the time.

Both of them are great, but I'm just been focused more on the minecraft competitions recently.

No contest for me. Minecraft isn't really the type of thing that holds my interest. Building what you want is cool and all, but my attention span is too short to do anything worthwhile there. The games in the RGR are easier to pick up and put down at the drop of a pin thanks to save states.

Surprisingly I have not played Minecraft yet, simply because I haven't the funds to buy the game and it never did spark my attention until here recently. As one being a huge fan of The Sims as far as building and creating goes (concerning Minecraft).. I am surprised that Minecraft hasn't got my attention sooner.. I plan on trying out the game when I get a chance but with all notes aside. I probably spend more time in the RGR.

I've never played Minecraft, so I'd definitely say I use the RGR more (even though most of my time on here has been on the board lately). Minecraft doesn't really interest me, although one day I might try it out just to say that I have played it.

Definitely the Retro Game Room. I'm not interested in Minecraft, and even if I was, how could that compete with multitude of games in the Retro Game Room. I can appreciate that Minecraft is available for people who are interested in it, but nostalgia reigns supreme!
