Okay. So I am going to talk a bit about the Play Station Player, that you can purchase for 50000 Viz.

I have a very good computer that runs and plays games really well. Why is it though, that every play station game I play lags and has distorted music? Even Final Fantasy V Anthology. I really do not understand it. So I need to make this question clear. Is it worth it? Because to me it is not. I wound up selling it and bought a few other things. Let me know what you think. Does it work perfectly for you? Or do you have the same problem as me no matter what you try?

DestinyHeroDC : Hmm. This seems strange. I'm sorry for the trouble you are having The problem you are talking about is usually due to lack of suitable hardware to run the games lag free. Surprisingly, PS1 emulation requires pretty good hardware to run smoothly.

I never have any issues with playing them. I even stream them and netplay PS1 games.

What are the specs of the computer you are playing from? That would give me some idea of what might be causing the issue.

Jordanv78 : Well I am not sure what you mean by specs, or how to bring them up ( let me know if I did this right) but here is something I found.
Processor: AMD A4-5000 APU with Radeon(TM) HD Graphics. 1.50 GHz
Installed Memory(RAM):8.00 GB (HOLY CRAP THAT'S HUGE) 7.45 Usable
System Type:64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

DestinyHeroDC : Even though it seems your PC should be able to easily handle the PSX emulator, I have seen other users with similar issues when using APU type processors.

I can't say definitively that is the issue or why it would be an issue, but it seems like the common factor for poor performance with that particular emulator.

If I had to guess, I would think there is a setting in the radeon control panel that has the browser (and plugins there-in) use hardware acceleration rather than software as I suspect its using.

DestinyHeroDC : Based on your specs the problem seems to be the integrated Graphics card that is built into your motherboard. Upgrading that to a faster dedicated graphics card would most likely fix your problem. There might also be a way to turn up the graphics acceleration, but your CPU and the GPU overall might be getting taxed depending on how many programs you are trying to run while playing emulated ps1 games on that laptop.
