Don't get me wrong, Mini Golf Stars is a very fun game, especially if you like golf games, but I'm not lying when I say that this was one of the hardest games that I have ever played. I pretty much suck at all golf games and apparently simple ones like Mini golf as well which made the game really difficult for me, but after getting myself to play a few games I realized that I really likes the game and that it was a lot of fun.

GRAPHICS 8/10

Id say that the graphics are really good for both a mobile game and for a sporting game, even if it's only mini golf. All of the courses in the game do look a bit cartoonish at times but they are very detailed and they look really good as you play on them. Sure, there's plenty of other golf games with so much bigger graphics but this game doesn't fail at all because its only a slight step begin the likes of other games and are still great to look at. For that, my grade for graphics will be an 8 out of 10.

SOUND 5/10

The game is fun, but really I would have to say that this is the worst aspect of the game because I dont think too much effort was put into this side of the game. There's little pieces here and there but I don't really think that its enough, even for a sports games. Other games so better, so I think this one could to because I just didn't like what I was hearing while playing this game and felt it could have been better so my grade for graphics will be a 5 out of 10.

ADDICTIVENESS 8/10

It's golf, and not only is it golf but it's mini golf which I like even more and if you like both golf and mini golf as well then you should find this game to be very addicting just like I have. Even though there are going to be many times where you're going to screw up and probably get very angry at the game, there's going to be many fun parts that you will enjoy because this is a mainly laid back game where you might want to try each hold over and over because its not a race or a competition against anyone, you're just trying to get the ball in the hole and that's fun. You're going to have a blast playing this game for hours and as a grade, I give this aspect an 8 out of 10.

STORY N/A

There's no story whatsoever in this game, all you do is a round of golf and that's it. Based on how many shots it takes you to get the ball in, you can get anywhere from 0 to 3 stars and these stars allow you to unlock new courses and contests but that's all there is, there's no story so I'm not going to give it a grade.

DEPTH 6/10

Sure, all you are doing is playing a round of mini golf on such small courses, but there's a good amount of courses, heck, there's probably dozens of individual holes for you to go through and probably hundreds of stars for you to collect and different courses to unlock in addition to the holes. It doesn't have as much stuff as some golf games would have but its not golf but mini golf so it has just the right amount of stuff for it to be good and my grade for depth will be a 6 out of 10.

DIFFICULTY 9

This is one of the hardest games that I have ever played because its so easy to mess up. You might find yourself at a hill and either you don't give enough power so the ball rolls back down and you lose a shot or you so too much and the ball sails who knows where. It's not just the hills that mess you up, there's all sorts of obstacles that will block you, even the walls of the course can totally change where the ball goes. Lets nor forget about aim because that's what golf is about. Aim is impossible for me in golf, no matter which game, I can never get the right aim, power, kr whatever so I always miss the hole by a lot and its incredibly challenging to be able to do that. If you know how to aim, then you are a king but if you don't then the game can get really hard for you.

OVERALL 7.2/10

This game was a blast. It was really hard and on almost every hole I was screaming into the phone but after a dozen or so holes I knew that getting the game was worth it and if you like golf games then I'm sure you would love to give this one a chance. It's worth it and I like it so my overall grade for this game is going to be a 7.2 out of 10.

I'm guessing this is one of those "easy to learn, hard to master" games? And I totally relate at being terrible at golf games. I downloaded the demo for Mario Golf: World Tour the other day and butchered many holes.

Not a lot of detail in the review, but it was fun to read. It covered a lot of the basics (albeit not all of them), and kept my attention. I in particular liked its length. It didn't overstay its welcome.

supernerd117 : To some it could be hard to learn as well, golf games in general I feel are hard to play because of all the precision. Also its a mini golf game, so there isn't really much to it, you can probably learn everything about what it would be like by thinking about mini gold in your head.
