Xevious035 : Currently, as far as I know, there are no plans to bring the Plugin to Mac. The money required is the main obstacle, I believe.

MokujinBandicoot : Currently, I believe work on that has stalled or stopped. I haven't seen progress there in a while, though I don't check it very often. I highly doubt there is a finish date.

partyawesome : I don't think so, it's not a extremely large program (168 MB). It'd depend on how much room you have left on your computer.

So I installed the plugin, like most of you guys. When I go to play a game with the plugin, it says not found. What did I do wrong?

starwars293 : Have you already restarted your browser? A hung web page might also be the cause of that, and will probably be fixed by searching your processes in the Task Manager for plugin-container.exe and ending that process -- or processes since sometimes there will be multiple instances of that running.

The RGR plugin works great, but I have a question about Mednafen. Why does it run with so much lag? when trying to use for GBA or SNES? When playing these games with the RGR plug-in the work great, but It doesn't have the same effect with Mednafen. Please help. thanks in Advance.

SalamenceR3 : There is no reason software would un-install itself from your computer. The only way it would do so is if someone physically went in and un-installed it from windows.

chaoscontrolx : Hmm that's strange, I have never experienced lag with Mednafen, except for with Super Mario RPG. In that instance it's because the game just generally doesn't emulate well (Both emulators have different problems with that game)

Otherwise it's probably some settings/hardware issue regarding your computers interaction with that emulator.

No need to worry about it anymore. Mednafen seems to work fine now that I switch between browsers. It's just some Systems that it seems to slow down like on the Super Nintendo.

So, I've recently come to this site and so far I love it. It has many of my favorite games from my youth, but the problem is I can't play many of them!


This game particularly ( https://www.vizzed.com/playonlinegames/game.php?id=8165 ), Mega Man X, is my favorite game of all time, and I would love to play it here. However, when I open the emulator it will not register my controls. It doesn't even register my mouse. It does nothing when I double-click to bring up the control panel and my pre-sets do not work. It's almost like the game is disconnected from my controls.


This is afflicting me on all SNES games I attempt to play, but no other system.


I have tried this game in all three of my internet browsers (Explorer, Chrome (favorite) and Firefox), and had no luck. The fix found in the "Game Help" section had no effect on this.


Does anyone have suggestions? I would very much like to play this game. As I said before this is my favorite game, and I actually have the game on my Wii (which is broken) and the remake (Mega Man X: Maverick Hunter) on my PsP, but as you all know, nothing beats an original.

BlackPlague : I'm sorry for the trouble that you are having. Does this problem you are talking about happen with EVERY system you try, or have you only tried SNES games?

There's a few things you can try:

First, Regarding MegaMan X, with the default SNES emulator, you do not bring up the config by double-clicking. You bring it up by pressing the esc key on your keyboard.

Then click "Config" and then "Input" from there you should be able to change your controls.

If that doesn't work, you could try the secondary emulator "mednafen" To use, just load the game like you normally would, then click the link in the upper left hand corner of the game window titled "Play using Mednafen" From there you should be able to double-click the screen and configure the controls.

Also, this emulator supports full-screen by holding alt+enter on your computers keyboard. This works will all systems on Vizzed that Mednafen supports.

As far as the mouse thing goes, that sounds like a problem that is coming from your computer, I'm not quite sure what could be causing that. If your mouse doesn't let you click on the browser window, it's going to be difficult to use the menus.

And no, this glitch (or whatever it is) has so far only affected my SNES games.

Opening it on Mednafen has fixed the issues with my controls. Thank you much. 

While I'm here, do you happen to know how to set up a Windows laptop to use an Xbox360 controller?

BlackPlaque: To set up a xbox360 controller if wired just plug it into the computer if wireless you are going to need a receiver connected to the computer which I believe can be found at game stores and places similar.

Hello, I'm a newbie so I don't know if this goes here when I download the Plug in I keep getting a message about that I miss Microsoft Visual C++ I already have it in my computer and reinstalled it like 3 times is there a solution for this?

  the plugin is not working mine crushed and now won't let me redownload any of the mirror downloads and my browser is Firefox  so it should have worked but it says a network error while attempting to read from file

i just got a new computer. is this plugin compatible with windows 8?

Yea this same thing is happening to me because just an hour ago I was playing Castlevania Aria of Sorrow and now when I was trying to playing MMBN 4 Blue Moon it says it can't find my plugin, so when I checked I decided to uninstall and reinstall but it still says the same thing, does anyone know what's going on and keep help me? (I have Windows)
