I did not know how to title this for you anime riddled kiddies but if you appreciate the art of animation at all and you have any poetry in your soul you will watch. Or at least try to watch anything by Aleksandr Petrov.  Please. It will not take too much time. They are very short in general.

This is the Old man the sea. Yes, it is after the Hemingway novel. And it will take a twenty minutes of your life but please, watch it. You will never regret of seeing such beautiful work of art.

To even master those is hard work but this oil painting stuff... I read somewhere that there are maybe ten people in the whole world who master it. And when you think about it, no wonder. You have to film the frame quickly before the paint dries and then paint some more to shoot the next. Or so I would imagine.
