What do you guys think? Apparently there has not yet been any info on who is going to be in the upcoming Five Nights At Freddy's Movie, but do you think that Warner Bros could actually ask Markiplier to appear in the movie?

I personally think this is a great idea, as there really is no doubt that Mark is the one who caused the game to become so popular. Having the star behind the success could really boost the popularity of the movie because many more people would be inclined to watch it, and I feel that having him either as the guard or even as the Phone guy could add a lot of comedy to the movie, and it really would make the most sense to start someone who is this much involved with the game.

P.S: At first I thought his biggest video ever was episode 1 of FNAF 3, which has 12 million views, though it turns out the very first FNAF video has over 28 million views, that's more than twice as many views as any FNAF video Pewdiepie made.

What do you think? Should he get a role and what role should he get?

zanderlex : It's a great idea to include Markiplier in the Five Nights at Freddy's movie! Like you said, it will make the series and movie more popular, and more people will be interested on watching it.

zanderlex : Zander (jeez I can't say your name without thinking of my cat X3) If Mark was assigned any role I would go to that movie wether it sucks or not just to see how good he is at acting. If I wanted him to have one role that would be the protagonist because he is pro enough to be one plus then I would go see it the day it shows in theaters but it is okay if he does not get the lead role I will be happy if he gets any role.

18mlivingston : Well, there aren't really any roles at all aside for the lead one, isn't there? Unless they change up the story a lot and end up adding more people and plots, then there's only the guard, and the phone guy voice, so he could really only be one of those two, or maybe even both.

I totally agree with what you said about going to the movie just to see Mark, that's what I feel about the Smosh movie, I'm only going to see that to see Mark in it, because he has a lot of potential as an actor.

zanderlex : I actually found a petition on change.org to request him being cast as the security officer. When I signed it, it was at 186 out of 200.
Now, while I don't think it should just be given to him, I do think that he should get at least an audition. The skits that he does does show that he has the potential. And like you said, it is widely believed that he is the treason the game got so darn popular. 

thing1 : A goal of 200 people wouldn't really do much at all, but I wouldn't expect it to stop just then, the movie has been reported what? 24 hours ago? So maybe that petition could have thousands in a week or so. Do you have the link?

And I don't, sadly. Just look it up. It should be easy enough to find. It's a petition on change.org to cast Markiplier as the security officer. 

Making a movie about Five Nights at Freddy's without casting Markiplier in it is like making a movie about... I don't know, but fans literally call him "the franchise's Jesus."

It would be PERFECT! I really hope he plays the lead role, but Phone Guy is fine, too. Maybe even Purple Man?

I don't think Markiplier would be a good fit for phone guy. Markiplier made that game famous for his reactions to the game. The security officer is going to be the one who gets scared, and will be the main character. 

I think Markiplier should be casted as the security officer, but I would not be surprised if they actually cast some famous actor. 

thing1 : Mike Shmidt is the main security officer you play as in Fnaf 1. She meant that Markiplier plays the role as Mike Shmidt.

NintendoFanKimmy : I'll be honest, if Mark is not in it, then I'm not going to watch it. I dont care for the games outside of Mark playing them, so if it ends up being other actors, then I probably won't be interested in the movie at all.

Considering the lack of success in previous "video game movies", it would seem fitting to put a popular gamer in the spotlight for such a movie. Is there any confirmation on which game it's going to be based around? I suspect either the first one, or all of them together.

Equinoxian-Lord : It would be hard for them to transition between the three games since they all would take place in different looking envirnments, so I'm guessing that they might actually create something new, and instead of having the movie based on one of the games, maybe do soemthing that happened in between the games.
