Sigma Stage #1: Before you go into the Sigma fortress, fill up your Sub Tanks. Armored Armadillo’s Stage is a great place to do that. End game. Zero tells you that we will split up, and he will take care of the main defenses. Weren't we split up through most of the game? Anyways, up ahead are a few Mega Tortoises, and Jammingers. Now there will be a humongous abyss, with moving platforms. Get on the platforms, and jump from platform to platform. Watch out for the Jammingers, since they will try to knock you off. Also, jump on the platforms when they come TOWARDS you.

Go into the base, and destroy the Lift Cannons and Gun Volts. If you want, you can use Storm Tornado to kill them faster. Go up the ladders, killing the Ball De Vouxes you will encounter. At the top of the last ladder will be… Vile? Zero appears, and says he will take care of him. They go to the next room to duke it out (suddenly, Super Smash Bros). Follow them. Oh no! Vile has captured Zero! Vile will fight you again. This is another unbeatable fight. Suddenly, Zero breaks out! He jumps on Vile, and… self destructs. Very smart there, Zero. Vile’s ride armor gets destroyed. Boss fight!

Boss Fight: Vile: Guess what? You can win this fight! Vile’s weakness is the Rolling Shield. He will jump, shoot a energy shot that freezes you for a bit, shoot fire things, and be annoying as usual. Try to avoid his attacks, and if you can’t, well, good thing you have 4 full Sub Tanks.

Oh no! Zero’s dead! That’s what you get for being dumb and self destructing, Zero.

Sigma Stage #1 (cont): We shall continue without Zero. There are the laser detector things again, a Hoganmer, and SPRINGS! Yay! We are out of our grief now, because of springs. Seriously though, the springs can be annoying. They can bounce you into the detector lasers.



Another Hoganmer, and an annoying vertical segment. This may be cheating, but charge up the Chameleon Sting. You will become invincible! lol. Okay, climb that ladder, then go through that door. Suddenly, Boomer Kuwanger! Use the Homing Torpedo. Well, yay. Go to the left, and… oh no! Metools! There are also Jammingers, as well. That’s the enemy selection here. Now go through that door. It’s not
another maverick, it’s “Bosspider”. Claps. What an amazing pun. Anyways, back to the boss.



Boss Fight: Bosspider: First, Bosspider will go down the stage. There are lines connecting each pole to another, and he will go across any lines he can go across. When he reaches the ground, shoot him with Shotgun Ice, his weakness, in the exposed eye. Occasionally, he will summon mini spiders. Take care of them. That’s the boss in a nutshell. Use a Sub Tank if you have to.

Fill up your Sub Tanks if you have to, then go to the next Sigma Stage.

Sigma Stage #2: You are inside the base now. Zero is still dead. Yay. Anyways, Batton Bones and Flammingles are here for some reason! Isn’t the Sigma stages supposed to be HARD (it’s hard, believe me)? To the right is a contraption with a platform on it. Get on the platform, and don’t fall off. Jump from platform to platform, killing the Batton Bones that will try to knock you off. I think I know why Batton Bones are here… Anyways, go up that vertical hallway, and go through that door. Suddenly, Chill Penguin!



His weakness is the Fire Wave. After that surprise is, eventually, an Armor Soldier. Try to kill it before it goes in the ride armor. Get in the ride armor. There will be Dig Labors, and Sine Fallers, with some more Armor Soldiers that you get to rampage through. Eventually there will be a ladder, that you have to get out of the Ride Armor to proceed. You will be missed, Ride Armor. Okay, this vertical section. You can go left or right, take your pick. I like going left, because I can get out easier. If you want, you can charge up Chameleon Sting and “cheat” past the section.



Now you are outside. Dash jump over that pit, and equip the Chameleon Sting, because we are fighting Storm Eagle with his weakness. This should be a really easy boss fight. To the right is another pit. We are inside the base again. Climb up the ladders, fighting the Spikeys, Batton Bones, and Hoganmers in your way. Equip the Chameleon Sting, because the next boss, Rangda Bangda, is weak to it. Hope you still have some left.



Boss Fight: Rangda Bangda: In the middle of the room are spikes. Yea… don’t touch them. You have to fight an eye, another eye, and a nose. Yea. The blue eye tries to run into you, The green eye shoots green bullets at you, and the red eye… I think it’s the rage eye. The walls will come in sometimes, and the nose will move around. Here’s my advice: destroy the eyes first. If you destroy the nose first, the walls will stay close together, then the eyes will become a lot harder to fight. You should have enough Chameleon Sting left.
Okay, refill your Sub Tanks if you need to. Then go to Sigma Stage 3.

Sigma Stage #3: Okay, you start off in a vertical hallway. Go up, and take care of the Mega Tortoise and two Lift Cannons. Go through the door. Next up is Armored Armadillo, and his weakness is the Electric Spark. After that is another vertical room. The enemy selection are Dig Labors and Batton Bones. You can grind the Batton Bones or get that health container at the top of the room, if you need health. Next up in the returning maverick line up is Sting Chameleon! You know, use the Boomerang Cutter to destroy him.



Now we are going down the base. It’s a Dig Labor and some items that you can’t reach. If you have remaining ammo for the Boomerang Cutter, you can get the items. Next up is Spark Mandrill! Use Shotgun Ice, of course. We are going down the base, again. Now it’s a room with water, and Gulpers! I think we know what maverick is next. Yep, it’s Launch Octopus. Use the Rolling Shield, as you’ve always had. Alright, the next room has spikes, Sine Fallers, Lift Cannons, and laser things. It’s a dangerous room, but nothing you can’t handle.



In the next room is a conveyor belt… yea, it’s Flame Mammoth. Use Storm Tornado, the most broken weapon in Mega Man X (excluding the Hadouken). Okay, we beat all the mavericks again. After a long, suspenseful hallway, is the main boss.

Boss Fight: D-Rex: Its name is “D-Rex”. Did they just take “T-Rex” and replace the T with a D? Anyways, its weakness is the Boomerang Cutter. It splits into two parts, and tries to run into you with both parts. You can only attack the top part, so direct your attacks to hit the top part. It also occasionally goes to the right side of the room and charges a plasma shot. It has slight homing properties as well. Avoid the shot, since it hurts. That’s about it for the boss!



Refill all your Sub Tanks. There is one level left, and it’s hard. Okay. Let’s go.

Sigma Stage Final: You start off in a LONG vertical hallway. Wall jump up it, avoiding the Creepers that come out of little holes in the wall. Now, final boss time. Sigma. He congratulates you on getting this far by yourself, and says that he will let his dog finish you off. He also says that he will fight you after you beat his dog. Okay, I’ll play your game, Sigma.

Boss Fight: Sigma Stage 1 of 3: Velguader: You are fighting a pet wolf that Sigma named Velguader. Very nice name, Sigma. Anyways, his weakness is Shotgun Ice. Velguader will jump on the walls, breath fire of all things, and create energy balls to… breath on you. Avoid him by jumping on the walls. This is a fast opponent, so try to keep ahead of him. You should do fine, especially if you have four full Sub Tanks.

Sigma congratulates you (again) and mentions how he can see why Zero counted on you. However, he says he will destroy you no matter what. Well, time to prove him wrong!

Boss Fight: Sigma Stage 2 of 3: Sigma: You are fighting Sigma himself. His weakness is the Electric Spark. Well, OMG he has a lightsaber! Yea… Star Wars. Anyways, he likes to attack you with his light saber, jump around on the walls, and create a laser from his eyes. Here’s what I like to do. I hug the walls, so that all he does is jump around on the walls. Take good shots in at him, and you should be fine.

Okay, Sigma is now only a head. That head floats up, and joins the background, which becomes illuminated. You are fighting… something.

Boss Fight: Sigma Stage 3 of 3: Sigma Velguader Bot: Well, its name is a mouthful, so let’s call it Sigma Final. So this boss has two hands, and a head. Well, its weakness is the Rolling Shield. The hand like to generate electricity in the middle, and the head shoots out a succession of energy spheres, or uses a flamethrower sometimes. Avoid the spheres by dashing in between them. Just get away from the fire. When the hands go for you, jump on them, and stand on the sides (to avoid the electricity). Then jump and use the Rolling Shield on the head. That is how you beat the final boss, ladies and gentlemen.



Sigma makes a temper tantrum after you beat him, saying that he is a reploid, and therefore can’t die. Dude, X is a reploid as well. He also says something about having no humans in the world. Okay… sounds like a genocide. The ending in a nutshell is that X wonders why he fights. Yea… that’s it. The credits give the names of the enemies and mavericks. Yay! The actual credits name the people who worked on the game. Hooray. When the credits end, wait. There is a special surprise if you wait long enough. Sigma appears and says that his spirit is still intact. He will come back, very soon… okay. Sounds nice to me, Sigma.

If you have puush or something, take a picture of the document.

vanelan : I think I'm getting the text error, when if you are making a thread for an extended amount of time, it shows the amount of words the post has, but not the actual words. It took me about 20 minuets to make a thread with the guide on it, and the text error usually happens when it takes 3 or 4 hours. Where do you want me to upload it? I tried editing in just a paragraph, and that showed.

If one paragrpagh worked, then it might have been that there's just a specific part thats causing the problem. On my long posts, I can take up to 50 minutes and nothing happens.

Try putting up the guide section by section until you see which part doesnt work.

Glad that you were able to get everything fixed up, not a good idea to let something like this go to waste.

zanderlex : Completely agree with you. I took hours making the guide, and if I couldn't finish the last part, I would have spent hours in vain. I plan on making another guide.
