Ferdinand : Not really. It just means that the kiss was not an important part of your life. My first "significative" kiss was with my present husband; I had never had such a feeling from kissing anyone else before.

janus : I hope you're right. Either that or maybe it was so traumatic that I set up a mental barrier to keep me from remembering.

Mine first kiss wasn't nothin' special. Actually, it was rather disappointing.

I've.... Never had a first kiss.... I think it's due to the fact that I'm surrounded by people who 1. Can't ever take a joke 2. They hate EVERYTHING I do... and 3. They're not my type..... I'm lonely. 'n'

It was actually pretty nice. Me and her were doing good, and we were just cuddling, and we leaned in and well, we kissed. It was actually pretty nice.

Also it was completely imaginary.

I thought I had posted here, but I've looked through the thread a couple times, and haven't found any posts by myself.

My first kiss was, well, non-existent. Though I'm 18 (most people have been in at least one relationship by now), I've never kissed a girl. Heck, I've never been on a date. I've never even talked to any girl about feelings I may have towards her.

The main reason for this is because I've always wanted to be in a good place in life before I try to jump into that world. Completely personal preference, I fully support pursuing relationships (in a Biblical way, as I am a Christian), but I've always wanted to be in a good place. Have my own car, a full time job that's close to home, no debt, things like that. Within the next 7 weeks, all of those criteria should be filled. Who knows, perhaps I'll finally get up the courage to ask my crush out?

Honestly, my first kiss went pretty smoothly. It was with this girl I liked in third grade. We where on the play ground, on the jungle gym where the slide was. She came up to me and kissed me, then we dated for two days, because, you know, that's typically how elementary "relationships" go. You date two days, and then break up because you get bored with each other.

What a beautiful topic, love is. I remember my first kiss, I was debating on becoming a helicopter since I romantically see myself as one and it all just sorted of happened one day in the hanger back in 'Nam. What happens in the Vietnamese War stays in the Vietnamese War.

But in all honesty my first kiss was of myself in the mirror because dang I looked good at the time. 

My first kiss was disgusting, I remember I didn't even like the guy. 

I think I was like 12 when it happened. I had a boyfriend who I didn't even like (don't ask). I think he was 15 at the time and we had snuck into my friends school gym at night and was sitting next to a couple of huge windows. Somehow I ended up in his lap and we hugged for a while. Finally I looked up and him and our faces moved closer until our lips met. Everything could have been so sweet at that moment if he hadn't suddenly opened his enormous mouth.

It felt like his mouth was huge, I mean really HUGE. It was horrible, I remember that I thought about having a zombie eating your face when he kissed me. That's what it felt like. Ugh, I still shudder when I think about it...
Suddenly a bright light hit us where we sat and the zombie-kiss finally ended. Outside the windows stood an elderly couple watching us with widened eyes. I was so relieved that he had stopped kissing me but at the same time embarrassed.

Officially the worst kiss of my life.

I was 16. It was absolutely terrible compared to my expectations. I think I'd seen enough TV to expect sparks and whatnot and it was just... nothing. No chemistry. It wasn't terrible itself, it's just I didn't feel anything from it and I remember thinking "...that's it?". 

Still haven't had my first kiss, never really sought out a relationship before. Is that unusual? I'm 25...Meh, not middle aged yet, right? World's my slightly repressed oyster. I mean, I play video games, read and write fanfiction, am addicted to lemonade and have a calcium deficiency, so I'm not missing out on much, yeah? It is nice to hear mixed reviews though, I think I'd be terrified to initiate a kiss even at this age, let alone find a man to kiss in the first place lol

My first kiss was with a older girl 13 I was 6. She had braces which my lip got stuck on.  When we pulled a part my lip ripped. I ended up with 5 stitches in my lip. But it was worth it.

My first kiss was a weird experience. When I was 8, and this girl from a family mine was close to was 9, we locked ourselves in my room and both kissed someone for the first time. We made out for a while. We also got naked together, but it was kind of silly because neither of us really knew what we were doing lol. Seeing what she looks like now, I would love to re-live the experience at this age, and make up for the lack of knowledge at the time
