My favorite Pokemon type has to be dragon type. They have great Pokemon with great stats and attack moves. Plus dragon type Pokemon are so awesome looking and powerful. Who wouldn't want that in a Pokemon? It's the best of both worlds.

Ghost fishy: You are correct in your point ghosty but you have to remember that they also take a longer amount of time to train up and level up.  They usually don't get good moves until a lot later in there levels.  The only one way is to fix the move issue is get good TM's for them.  And to fix the problem with the EXP you would have to grind a lot more than with any other type of Pokémon.  But good choice for a type very powerful and very cool design.

Poison Types. I like ability to avoid poison attacks while at the same time infecting my foes,one of Its weakness to ground types though with the many dual types around, ground can be quite easy avoid. Poison-type offensively strong, but I think that's where my favorite pokemon "Crobat" comes in.

Electric. 

I just love the idea behind attacking with electricity, and it has always been my favorite element. There's quite a lot of interesting type combinations you can make with it, and electric hits two of the most common types, being water and flying, for super effective damage, while they only have one weakness, being ground.

Electric type pokemon have great designs and usually a lot of speed and (special) attack.

Not being able to get paralyzed is also a bonus I will gladly take.

My favorite Pokemon type is going to have to be Fire. I just feel that fire is the strongest, even though there are quite a few easy ways to damage them, I still think that they are very powerful and some of them look cool, like Charizard and Arcanine. ghostfishy : My favorite type is the grass type.  Cool moves, designs, and just fun to use.  My favorite would be Serperior, good moves along with amazing speed and attack make for a good damage dealer.  Plus I just like making my opponent not be able to do anything with status effects.
