Real talk? Kimahri is so underrated. He has a very useful Scan ability, and strength that is on par with Auron's.

OrdannonsX : He might be. Just me talking, I couldn't stand him due to him being forced to be a clone of some other character since he has such a tiny grid to himself. A weaker clone at that, since he has to go through his grid and get an unlock to follow whomever you want him to be, so the original character has a head start. His gruffness also bored me.

endings : Well, Kimahri was the designated "Blue Mage", so to speak, of FF10, so it makes sense that his job is to be reliant more on someone else's Sphere Grid to meet his true potential. Plus, that means you get to choose what path to take him down.

And, while I can agree that he's not the most interesting character, you have to admire his fierce loyalty to Yuna.

endings : I guess I am the only one here who likes Edward and actually in the GBA version he is a Perma character I beat the game with him xD and maybe if you used him long enough you would find out he is actually very useful and can be strong FACT. I also found Laguna to be really fun to play as.

And I do like seeing everyone's opinions but saying that character is terrible is a little much. I personally enjoyed every character from every game except one. Snow Villers he just grossed me out.

DestinyHeroDC : I was waiting for someone to say they hate Hope just to prove them wrong. Explain to me why he is a noob please? And actually Thief doesn't suck at all you just might stink at using it's skill-set and such. Hope is one of the best characters of the game considering his stats are really good and his backstory is good.

deg2000 : Didn't play GBA version. Since Cecil is the only perma-character in the original SNES version of FFII, its not just Edward that had a limited time to wow me. Plus, having his special ability to hide, kind of works against that whole 'strong' thing you're talking about. But you played the GBA version, so I can't argue with you on that. Just from his base skill set.. he was designed to look weak.

Maybe we should have a thread where we list our favorite FF characters, if there isn't one already. I'm curious to know who everyone likes.
