Maybe because of this, I can start working on some more of my stories. Every time I would start a story, I would get a few chapters into it and give up, but now I have motivation to make these longer stories. Maybe I can feel the same for reviews as well and start working on those too.

Dadvideo7: On this note would it be possible to get a raise in CP moderators receive for spending time in chat? We can spend all day in chat and only get 7.5 CP but if we go post or rate reviews or something of the sort we can get a crazy high amount in comparison. It seems a little unbalanced to me is all.

Gotta say it again this is awesome I am actually getting a couple of CP for my posts instead of like .2 and close to a couple hundred vizz for a post almost a couple hundred words long. This system is really motivating me to post more and it seriously has me thinking about writing a review so I can earn some real CP. Just generally a great idea for the site I think because I can't be the only one thinking this way and the more people posting and writing reviews and the like the better. In fact I am going to go write my first review right now. Please check it out when it is done and don't be to harsh on me as it will be my first.

Edit:  Holy Moly Just wrote my review and got like 2000+ vizz enough for another Saturn Game.  I also got more CP from it than I usually get in a week. This is just tops

Davideo7 : I agree with Frod, even though raising the limit for cp in chat would allow for more idling, I feel that its too low overall.

I don't know if this has been asked or answered yet, but I have a question. If each general post in any random thread now pays out much more cp and viz, does that mean that the thread creators would also get higher Viz and cp for replies to that thread? Or would any changes to that have to be done manually?

Wow, man, this is the only update I can truly say I'm excited for. Now to go get started on some reviews I've been putting off for a while!

Davideo7 : Did you accidentally mess up Screenshot Submissions, maybe, when you were changing and testing things? I just submitted a bunch of screenshots, but got no credit for them, looking at my CP chart.

EideticMemory : Well, I am looking at my CP page, and it says I don't have anything for today, and last TdV, I got credit for Screenshots submitted towards the Green Jersey. So, the only thing that I can think of is that I didn't get credit for them because I took them before midnight, and submitted them after. 
And I did some screenshots at about 10 or 11 tonight, and then took some more, but realized I would not get credit for them because I had already reached the max.

So yeah, the only thing that I can come up with is that I took them before midnight server time, and submitted them after. 

Also, if it makes any difference, I am 2 hours behind server time.

It's one thing to not get credit, but the system didn't log any submissions from you before 2:00 AM (midnight your time).

I'd say recheck and make sure that you submitted them. I think you might've gotten confused timezone-wise, which isn't a big deal. Other than that, there's not much we can do as there weren't any submissions logged.

thing1 : Are you using a different computer or a different browser from the last time? During the last tdv the same thing happened to me, I simply stopped getting both CP and actions for screenshot submissions until I started doing them on my new computer, and then it started working again. The screenshots did show up on the games page but none of them were logged.

I don't know why, but it seems to go off of my time zone. I had some left over screenshots from Mrs. Pac-Man from yesterday, so I put those in after midnight my time, and it counted. 
For some reason, a lot of my stuff counts towards the previous day for me with the 2 hour time difference, so I will just have to be warry of that. 

And I still think it's too much Viz for the posts. 

This is a great addition! I can't really find any flaws with it, and i can't wait to get loads of CP this TDV!

Wow, awesome job David! This useful for many users, and now the non-staff members have better chances at earning CP jerseys if they really try. This has to be one of your greatest improvements on the site so far

I had worked on that thread for a really long time but I finally finished it (of course some life related stuff was in the way too). Also, I really like the CP and Viz adjustments for your information. If I do another guide like this next month, I'll have so much Viz that I can start selling stuff just to buy it back in different orders... I still think the amount is probably too high.

Fireproof : Well i had just came here to talk about the review that i just made, but you clearly take the cake. That is one epic thread, look at all them cp and viz! How many hours of just writing did it take?

As for my review, 11k Viz. Nothing compares to that, but if all my reviews were like that, i would have made more than half a million Viz just from reviews alone. Well, looks like i need to start working on reviews again.

zanderlex : I actually started this over a month ago. Suikoden was an old favorite for me on the Playstation and I hadn't attempted any Playstation game guides yet so I figured I would start with this one. Unfortunately, for a while there I quit writing it because I didn't know how I wanted to organize my information and plenty of life got in the way. If I were to estimate, writing alone, it probably took me 16-18 total hours to write it. I also did about 3 hours of research and spent probably 12 hours staring at this thing where I didn't do anything at all... Also spent about 3 hours editing it because I didn't like how some of it was worded and changed the Introduction about 15 times, for example.

Also, I took out 2 entire sections dedicated to the game's items and armors but I didn't feel this was necessary because there aren't many items and armors to find. The use of a guide for those wasn't worth another few hours to type up. When you go to copy and paste a Thread of that size from Notepad, your Google Chrome wants to stop running scripts. The only time I get scared is when my Google Chrome crashes. I opted out of the armors and items because of that fear and left it as it is now.

I didn't post that here to discuss my guide tho, if you want to discuss the guide go to my thread and let's talk there! I posted my Viz amount here to set an example of one possible extreme for earning Viz and CP. It's a lot of Viz and CP for a Game Guide, even if it's unlikely that a Guide is built as large as mine..

This should be rather interesting especially when it will give more motivation to the competition for the Tour de Vizzed. This will definitely give non staff members a chance to win a jersey. Also, this is a good way for people who are in need for Viz and they can post more.
