I graduated with a 3.10 unweighted GPA, and a 3.21 Weighted GPA. Would have been higher if that 1 Sophomore year teacher had of tried to failed me.

Well I'm going to count 8th grade, since I haven't graduated high school or even started high school yet for that matter. I graduated 8th grade with I think a  3.8 GPA.

I graduated high school with a 3.7ish GPA I believe. I probably should've studied though.

I haven't graduated high school just yet, but in the two years I have been in high school so far, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA, it really isn't overly hard to maintain if you pay attention to the important stuff. The funny thing is, I really don't even study for anything since most of it is common sense stuff, but if I do, I make sure it is for important material that I really need to brush up on.

I already know what lies ahead for me this junior year when it comes to classes so I am going to do what I can to at least keep a 3.7 GPA or higher. I would also like to keep getting a high GPA throughout college if I can.

Well, I haven't graduated from high school yet.

But so far, I have a 3.997 GPA. (It was right after 10th grade). And the year before (9th grade), I had a 3.996. As for anything before that, don't remember and I'm too lazy to search for my report card now. XD

I'm mainly trying to at least maintain a 3.8 GPA or higher until I graduate to college hopefully.

My is 2.2##### GBA but it should be 3.###### there was a mistake in my IEP when I switch school. I did everything in my power to get it back to 3.0 but they all thought I was crazy. They put me in he wrong classes even had a unnecessary school speech theory sessions and I was the smarts one in all of under grade of my classes. My parents didn't understand a single thing about IEP so I was left to fight the school alone while the school uses my parents to stop me from fixing the IEP.

it was horrible being at that school and I am glad that I don't have to go to school anymore because it always tells lies.

mastergame : I think I know what you mean. I had something like that my Freshman Year called Freshman Seminar.
And I never had an IEP. The only thing I ever had trouble was finding classes to take so I could graduate. I only had 3 required classes by the end of my Sophomore year, so l literally took 9 fillers, and went to a different school every year just so I could have classes to take ( Freshman and Junior year schools were the same one, though )

I graduated with a 2.4 or so GPA.

I slept in every single class, so I probably deserved my grades. I also hadn't studied or really "learned" anything since I was in 6th or 7th grade. Absolutely awful student.

Only reason I stayed in school and avoided failing outright was because I wanted to stay on the school cross country team.

thing1 :

I may (or may not) be intelligent. But I'm definitely not "smart".

I, however, did not give even one ---- when it came to academics. I knew enough before even entering high school to graduate without paying attention in high school.

Could I have payed attention, studied, actually did my homework (long story short, the only reason I passed was because I aced my tests), and graduated summa cum laude? Possibly.

But would it have mattered? No, I don't think so.

My GPA when I graduated from high school was 2.4.

Financially, I couldn't go to any college I wanted. So I opted to just go to my local university. The only requirement for entering the university here is to have a GPA of 2.0, if you're a resident. I think it's more complicated for international students, but probably the same amount of GPA required. They would just have to file some extra paper work.

So basically, I slacked off because I knew I only needed to make it above 2.0. I didn't want to be borderline, though, so I worked just a little bit hard on classes that were interesting to me. So...that's pretty much just my English courses. Oh, and a history course because all the girls in that class were A+ students.

thing1 : As a teacher, I'm going to have to butt in a little.    In my opinion, GPA tells very little about a person's "smarts", ability, or potential.  IT shows how hard a kid worked.... but that's about it.

I've had many, many TERRIBLY genius kids who had a GPA of around 2.something, simply because school bored them, or they were lazy, or what have you.  And of course, people are smart in different ways, and public school isn't the best at bringing it out.  Public school tends to measure 'smartness' in one way, and one way only.  There are so many amazing people who can do AMAZING things with their brain, and yet struggled to get through school because they work with their 'smarts' and 'display' them in ways that school can't / won't measure.

As high school students, I think most of us think GPA measures intelligence, but I'm here to say that my mind has been completely changed after working with so many children.

GPA is a number that measures steady work and acquiescence.  That's it.

I had over a 4.2 GPA, but I can't tell you a thing about subjects other than math or language arts.  I was simply very, very good at memorization.  Being able to memorize things 'for a test', doesn't make me smart, in my opinion.

Singelli : You make a valid point, I will give you that.

Honestly, about the only thing I remember from High School after almost 3 years ( graduated a semester early ) is Some Algebra 1 or easier math, and some history.

Well so far I am going to enter my fourth week of junior year this Tuesday. I checked my GPA just know in my school's portal my weighed GPA is 4.1154 (Counting the extra GPA point that each AP/Honors class gives you) or my non weighed average 3.8846 (Basically all classes give you the same amount of points.) I'm trying to graduate high school with a 3.9 or above (non-weighed) and I'm trying to reach a 4.4, so far school wasn't challenging freshmen year because there was no AP classes, and my sophomore I only struggle with history (the teacher was at fault all the people that have taken him admit that he does not know how to teach), I am trying to take as many AP tests as I can so that I don't have to take so many classes in college (maybe skip a year or two) that way I can have a chance to do a double major. If anyone needs tips or something feel free to message me. And if there is anyone who has already been to college I would appreciate any tips to applying to schools or scholarships.
