I'd choose Chimchar because I've always wanted a Chimchar. I'd train it to prank people. He'll (or she'll) be fun and mischievous, just what I want.

Cyndaquil as it has always been my favorite and Typhlosion just looks so cool. (Anybody except me want a Mega Typhlosion? Get on it Gamefreak). Charmander is okay I don't hate it or anything but I think it's kind of generic and Charizard is hugely overrated. Blaziken I've never really been much of a fan of but I could see why people would like a Kung fu chicken. Infernape is probably my 2nd favorite as I think it looks pretty cool (frigging fire coming out of it's head) and I like it's origin story. Tepig while cute turns into Pignite which literally sounds like it's farting when it's sent out and looks really stupid IMHO. And Fennekin is kind of in the middle for me I like it's typing and it's a pretty cool pokemon but I just like Froakie and Chespin more and there's nothing that really makes me love it.

For me, it would be Torchic, I picked this for only one reason.....because his last evolution is Blaziken, which is an OP flaming turkey (Blaziken's speed boost ftw).

I will go with Cyndaquil because his back can shoot out flames! That would make a good defense for it. Plus it's an awesome starter to be tough and cute at the same time.

Fennekin without a doubt. It's the only fire type that I've ever even been tempted to use, and the typing intrigues me. From what I've seen it fits the way I use Pokemon as well.

Of course the one I who chose would have to be Fenniken. I just love using Delphox because it's magic attack stats and speed stats are pretty good. Plus, I really like the shiny version of Delphox.

Charizard definitely looks the coolest. It could practically rip tanks apart just from the way it looks. But Chimchar probably had the best character development in the anime, because it was constantly trying to do better. I'll choose Cyndaquil when it comes down to it, though.
