I wasn't really sure on what my most favorite TV show was when I was little until I found out a couple years ago (from my Brother), that I get excited whenever either CatDog or Pokemon comes on and it wants me to watch an episode every time it comes on.

Dang surprised I passed this one up without answering it. That's a tough one because hard to remember way back then. Had to think about this one awhile before any would come to mind from my childhood. The main ones I could think of were : Spiderman, Scooby Doo, Super Friends, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Land of the Lost, The Incredible Hulk, and Fat Albert and a whole bunch of the older cartoons you don't see anymore unless they are on boomerang or something like that. Thought of a few more while I was typing this ( some Japanese and British shows I used to watch ) but I am not going to list them all on here. You already get the idea of the stuff I used to watch regularly. Fun times for sure back then. :O)

My favorite TV show as a child was Teen Titans. I've heard they rebooted it, but I honestly prefer the original. I loved watching the show all the time.

My childhood favorite show is Dragon Ball, Inuyasha and Doraemon about cartoons, but also watched a lot Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Knight Rider and The A-Team especially Baywatch hahaha
And now I'm addicted to the series, movies and animes especially science fiction, as Powers, Defiance or Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D

I don't know if show is singular on purpose but I can't possibly be limited to one. My tastes evolved too much that I can't pinpoint one.

Until I was about 7 I loved the (more or less) Quebec version of Sesame Street called Passe-Partout. It was highly educational and made in such a way that it confronted children with their problems. I remember this one skit with the puppet family where the father lost his job and he was mad about it. The newer version of the show (with new characters and puppets) wasn't as good. Maybe I was too old...

That's when I got interested in another educational show, Le Club des 100 watts (sponsored by the government monopoly on electricity). The themes there were for a more mature audience (as in pre-teens); I still remember that episode where two of the characters smoked pot. I wonder if that could have happened on U.S. TV...

For as far as I can remember, and probably until I was 14, Saturday morning was sacred so I would watch all those comics! I tried very hard to wake up by 8 so I could watch Sonic - I had to be careful not to wake up my father so I couldn't put my alarm. Man I loved that show! It expanded the Sonic universe with Sally, the half robotic rabbit and Antoine (what an annoying accent!). I still remember the episode where the Freedom Fighters invented an anti-robotizer, but with no long-term effect... I also love Bugs Bunny, of course. Who here (who's from North America) can honestly say he or she NEVER watched those classic cartoons? I still remember "The Rabbit of Seville", probably the best of Bugs Bunny. Listen to it and try not be addicted to the soundtrack after that .

There was also a pretty good selection of cartoons in French. Most of them were Japanese/Japanese-inspired spinoffs of great literary classics like the Three Musketeers, Anne of the Green Gables, the Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland and many more. They were of course very far from the original story and did include Manga-style graphics (without the blood) but they provided for great entertainment. There was also this original series, Les mystérieuses Cités d'or, that took mangas back to the Conquistador era, where there was this very advanced civilization that mastered sun energy and could fly!

Weekday cartoons were also interesting. ABC had Captain N and the Video Game Master (with his high-tech NES controller belt!!). There were four shows but I only liked the Mario ones, especially Mario 3. I just loved to hear the music from the game "remixed." I never cared for the Legend of Zelda nor Captain N proper because I had never played the games before.

There then was the Disney Afternoons on NBC. Whenever I didn't go to school I would tune in at 3 to watch all the shows: Bonkers, Gargoyle (which I didn't like as much), Aladdin and, on Fridays, Timon and Pumba.

As I got more comfortable with English I started watching a lot of PBS. I especially loved Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego and actually did pretty well. I also watched a few sitcoms as part of my homework to watch TV in English. My favorite one was Third Rock from the Sun (guess what it is...), a group of aliens that come to Earth to study it.

Finally, remembering my childhood wouldn't be complete without talking about Canal Famille, this ad-free channel that aired some of the best cartoons in the French language. Le Petit castor, Maya l'Abeille, Blondine au pays de l'arc-en-ciel (Rainbow Bright), Les contes de la forêt verte and Les amis ratons (The raccoons) were just a few of those cartoons. Being a "family Channel there were also a host of educational shows that were interesting for their genre like Hibou chou genou, Alphabus, Sur la rue Tabaga (I ended up hating that show because one of the characters had a similar name to mine) and Télé-Pirate. That latter show was really excellent and did a much better job at education than Passe-Partout.

I think that's plenty for now.
