Since this morning I have a cold, meaning I have a dripping nose and I have to sneeze a lot, my sneezes are like hurricane sneezes.
But although I get a cold now and then, I'm pretty healthy, in 2013 I've never been so sick that I didn't have to go to school. So I'm wondering, are you as healthy as me, or even healthier? Or are you one of those kids who is at least sick a month?

Not the only one with the cold. I can't even speak. I am quite healthy but I am sick now and again. I once became sick after an operation. I was off for a month and a half. Puking while recovering from an operation isn't nice.

I've been sick, having nausea cramps, and aches, for almost eight months. I have a weak constitution so it won't let up.

Really? Wow that sounds really bad. Are you fit enough to go to school, or do you have to stay in bed?

I am pretty healthy throughout the year, except maybe once or twice through winter I might get an occasional runny nose or even a cough and I feel horrible, but then it goes away after a few days or so. But aside from that I am generally pretty healthy throughout the year and I am blessed to not have any allergies, asthma, or need a medication for anything. I don't miss school for being sick either though, maybe sometimes if I just don't feel like going, or if I am tired, but not for being sick which I'm not. 

Razor-987 : That's good to hear! I have one allergy to tea tree oil (used it once, the result was a red irritated skin but it wasn't that worse, in day it was gone) but further than that no medication or something like that. I feel a bit weaker than normal because of my cold but luckily everything else is fine. There are times I don't want to go to school because I'm tired or I don't want to, but I pull myself together or my mom says I have to go

I don't get sick.  I get plenty of sleep, I hydrate and eat healthy all the time, I get a lot of exercise and I'm healthy as a horse.  I don't remember the last time I was sick enough to stay home from work.  I never skipped school or said I was sick or faked it.  I take a lot of pride in my ability to stay on my feet.
I remember having maybe three or four headaches in my entire life and I got the flu once or twice ever.  I take care of myself and I respect my body, my spirit, and how I handle myself.  That makes me able to stay on my feet, stay out of bed, and stay healthy.

I find when I miss things because of sickness, if ever, it makes for more work to get caught up.  That's an irritation.  I'd rather suck it up and get through the day rather than get behind.

I am really healthy. I usually never get sick. I sleep quite a bit, get good rest, have good hygiene, no real reason to get sick. I get sick like once a year or so, and it isn't even something big. Now that I have said that, i'm going to get sick, calling it right now.

I don't necessarily like this question. A person doesn't have to be unhealthy to be sick. And a person doesn't have to be sick to be unhealthy. I consider myself unhealthy because of my eating habits and la k of exercise (both of which I have changed and now I'm getting healthier). But I don't get sick very often. In fact, I think I've been sick once total in the past year or so. I rarely develop mean, long lasting coughs, and I don't have allergies so I don't really sneeze much (if I do, it's once or twice and then that's that). I don't remember the last time I've had a headache or stomachache or cold, and I don't get a funny nose too often. I wouldn't call myself healthy, but I really don't get sick. I do appreciate my immune system.

Yes, I am very healthy. I am rarely sick. I have only gotten sick with a cold for the last 4 or 5 years. I have a very strong immune system, and I don't get sick much. Which means I get to go to every day of school. Yay...

warmaker : I drink a lot of water too, I sport many times and I eat healthy too, I'm a vegetarian and they are said to be pretty healthy, I guess it is true so I'm very proud of my health too. The only thing that differs is that I probably should sleep more.

maguc : That's true, when you start to think something like 'gee, I'm never sick' you have a good chance to get sick. I don't know why that happens, but it can be funny or stupid. If I get sick it's once or twice in a year but with sick I mean that I have to stay in bed.

megamanmaniac : I think you're right, maybe I should've changed my question. There are people who are unhealthy but don't get sick often, so in that case my question is somewhat wrong. Other than that, I'm happy to hear you are one of those people who don't get sick often.

Elpizo : Woohoo, every day school... Well, it's better than being sick and that you can't do anything because you have to lay in bed all the time.

Almost never. I have allergies and can get sick very easily. I eat a lot of junk food and way too lazy to even exercise. If you see me, it's most likely with a tissue, runny nose, or coughing.

In terms of sickness, I am rarely ever sick. In terms of me being healthy overall, not so much. I have a really strong immune system, so I even get to experience colds infrequently. Even rarer, I will sometimes become even sicker than your average cold, but usually, if I am to become sick, I only have a slight cold, and it only happens once a year, at the most. Usually. There are other factors such as being in school a lot, being around sick people, and my health that do affect the rate at which I become sick. If I were to actually exercise, and were able to eat more healthily, I would probably never be sick.

Im healthy...but i do get sick once in awhile. But its not often. I must of went through this whole crazy winter...without getting sick that much.

Definitely fit as a fiddle. Had a few bouts of diarrhea and constipation not too long ago but been healthy ever since.

sop281 : Sounds good, I still have a cold by the way but it's not that worse anymore. But I went on vacation and the departure flight (to Greece) was alright until we started to land. My ears started to hurt like crazy and I had the feeling my head was going to burst. After it was over, I couldn't hear well for the rest of the day. But today I came back and the landing went very smooth with no problems at all

supercool22 : The winter is always the most risky season, for me as well. Good to hear it's not that bad.

Azul Fria : Yeah, diarrhea happens to me so now and then, it's not that worse but going to toilet feels bad after you did. 

juuldude : I'm allergic to a multitude of things. Dogs, cats, fish, nuts, pollen, and more! You name them and I might have it. Can't have any pets because of this, but I savor every minute with one.
