At the end of the 90's, Hudson Soft made a spectacular single player platformer for the N64 called Bomberman Hero.

Many didn't like it because of the lack of multiplayer, but overall, it turned out to be a solid game.

What do you think of it?

Personally, I enjoyed the game a good deal. It fits snugly in my top 25 games ever made, and is in my top 5 platformers.

alexanyways : I have heard about it, and I am disappointed that Hudson quit making bomberman games after this. It looks better than the Second attack to me since it went back more towards Bomberman 64. (Round explosions anyone?)

I have never heard of this Bomberman before. I love platformers though so I would probably enjoy this game. I didn't have it as a kid and I don't think any of my friends had it so I guess it just slipped by me. The sad thing is I can get Nintendo 64 to work right on Vizzed and I sold my Nintendo 64 a long time ago. I really wish I didn't do that because I really want to try this game now, thanks alex, now I have to go buy a N64!

The only Bomberman I ever played as a kid was Bomberman 64.
However, I recently played it on Vizzed, and enjoyed it. The fact that it's a lot more 3D than the other two, which took a bit of getting used to for me, is actually nice, and it makes for a fun platformer (with explosions, of course)

I think that this was a really good game that I loved to play when I was younger. When my family first bought a Nintendo 64, it was one of the 3 games that we bought with it and I loved it. When I was young, I really liked both the story and game play.
