Alright, the old one made by Lazlo was getting way to big, so I decided to trim it down a little and start a new one. Same as the old one really except it's simply new.

I have a few ground rules however which probably go without saying.

1. No posting here without good reason, spam will be dealt with accordingly, feedback is of course permitted, so is layout testing more than obviously. However posting without proper and relevant reasoning will be seen as spam and will most likely be dealt with as such.

2. Be respectful, I don't care if you think someone has the biggest junk of a layout ever, you can at least say so with respect rather than saying something in an immature fashion. This should be a fairly easy rule to follow I think.

3. Enjoy yourselves and be creative, have a good time and most importantly uhh..... I forgo- Oh yeah! Put my awful layouts to shame! (If you can.)

I'm checking TFW's rainbow layout. If it's one long line, it seems to work. Once it crosses the end of the first line, it doesn't. =/

EDIT: It still breaks. Odd... Also, only one rainbow works per page NOT EDIT: I'm going to test and see if the rainbow breaks if I don't press the enter/return button. So I'm going to type enough so it uses multiple lines without having to press enter. Just in case,?texttesttexttesttexttesttexttesttexttesttexttesttexttesttexttesttexttesttexttest.?Yes, I know, it's red and green. Maybe I feel festive.

One quick observation I noticed is that you can see the text if you highlight it with your mouse or anything like that. Like you're about to C/P. I'm not all that great with coding but maybe your problem is with the color? Just a thought.

Test post. I wonder if it's my posts or the summon or what, this is confusing me. I don't have any layout, this shouldn't be happening.

Edit: It's not a summon, maybe it's something on the page in some layout, it doesn't seem to be affecting anyone else, but I'm the only one without a layout here so I don't know. I also don't see it in the edit post either so there is that much, I'm entirely stumped now, maybe someone else can figure this out but I have no clue and I have stuff to do, if anyone has theories or thoughts please let me know with a summon.

Frodlex : It's only affecting you and it appears in the -text- part of your post, meaning I can still see it after hitting 'reply'. In order words, it's probably not layout based.

Perhaps you should try posting in another thread to see whether it's still a problem.

The text gradients Do not Work with anything except webkits (or so I've read).



In other words, It doesn't show up on some browsers, making the text invisible and requiring readers to highlight it.

yoshirulez! : Only part of it. The first line is gradient, so it's still possible to make it work.

And don't you use Internet Explorer? IE 10 doesn't support most of the webkit features, and I don't think any of the previous versions support it at all.

You could probably mess around with the color of the text-box, but there's really nothing to complain about. =)

The reason I'm saying this is because I noticed you were putting linear inside of the parenthesis, don't do that. And it's not an image, so don't use -image either. Once you get the background working then I can give more feedback, if you want.

That should help you to have that stretching layout that I know you've been wanting.

Singelli : LOL, I just had a flashback of why I closed the layout shop but I finally figured out why the layout that you sent me refused to behave properly. It was the margin settings for the text box. It forced the width of the entire layout to be 150 pixels greater than 100% or 800px.

I made some changes and this is the result. I like it! PM me what I owe you or something...

Well..im gonna test out this layout of a hefty tree kangaroo. (I would go after that fruit myself. Just like this tree kangaroo)

My personal opinion is I should use black text shadow to make it look 3D. but what do you think.

One thing I noticed was that your edit appeared on top of your post. I'm curious as to whether that's due to a coding mistake (or whether it's on purpose).

I'd make two changes.

1) Change the font color to a dark color (black, dark green, dark blue, etc)
2) Move the text-box onto the orange instead of keeping it on the left top corner. 

If you fix both of those, your layout will look great

This is my new look.  I think I will stick with it though maybe I should see if I can get the font color for my text changed, the red kinda stains my eyes.

I'd have made the text just a tad darker, but then again, I suffer from perfectionism. =P

If you want to, try a slightly, slightly darker orange and see whether you like it. Now we're just looking at small things, overall it's improved a lot!
