Whenever people thing of hardcore gamer nowadays, what do they think of. They think of a teenage boy sitting in his man cave for hours on end playing online Halo and being a pro at it. To them, you aren't a hardcore gamer if you play E rated games or "kiddie consoles" made by Nintendo. Well you want to know what I think?

I say screw you to all the fanboys out there, I am a true hardcore gamer! I play video games as a profession, and I apply myself to get better. I play with other people and associate, I make friends, and I enjoy my experiences with people like me. I own a 3DS, I own a Wii U, and I am still a hardcore gamer! I challenge myself with titles like Ghosts 'n Goblins, Zelda II, Castlevania, Mega Man, the list goes on. I am by definition and by heart a hardcore gamer, and no derogatory term will change that!

I am definitely an RPG gamer. I am not into MMOs or Mobile games, and not a huge fan of Hardcore games. I do play RPGs quite often though.
