The last game I played was Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove for the Nintendo Switch. Right now, I only have that and Breath of the Wild, but soon I'll be getting Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to add to the collection.

The last game I played was called Our Love Will Grow (available on Steam). I started playing it a while back (I think I mentioned it in another post too), so right now, I'm just continuing to explore the woods and caves. In my opinion, the West Woods have some really pretty purple trees.  =)

The last game I played was Paper Mario Color Splash on the Wii U, really addicting and fun to play. I can't wait to finish it (want to finish it before exams)

The last game I played was technically Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations. I was helping my nephew, but honestly I plan to actually play it myself as well at some point. It's pretty cool, but I struggle to place it in a genre. It's like the Scooby Doo Mysteries game on the Genesis or the Nancy Drew games: it's something akin to point and click only there's no cursor, and instead you just walk around and investigate and interact with things, solving puzzles using items and sometimes even combining items and such. It's pretty cool really, if you're into that kind of game.

However the last game I really played (like more than solving one puzzle for my nephew) was Mercenary Kings. It's a game that I actually had added to my list of games to check out when I got my PS4, but it wasn't until a recent flash sale that I actually checked it out and got it.

Basically it's a platformer with guns and explosives and such. It isn't run 'n' gun because it controls like a platformer through and through. The levels are designed as open areas, sort of like a big box and you have to complete the objectives, from rescuing hostages to defeating certain enemies and so on. I love this type of level design (the big open box design) in platformers because it eliminates the annoying and senseless pitfall deaths and adds a huge sense of exploration. That's why I opted to, with the consent of the other members of ImagineUnderdog, stop production on our platformer and overhaul the entire design of it to adopt that style. I've seen it in a few games before (Little Nemo, Mercenary Kings, Alex Gordon) and it's always been a blast.

In this game though, you play as a team of, well, mercenaries I guess (though military specialists is a much more fitting and accurate term), and your objective is to stop Claw, the organization that kidnapped the professor who created the Mandrake formula which can essentially resurrect dead people. The gameplay, while platformer, is varied and even contains a very limited crafting system. You can't craft your own items, but you can give your items to an NPC plus some money and they can make new weapons, armor, and even bionic (hope I got the right word there) upgrades for you.

Additionally most missions contain secret objectives that are usually (if not always) collectathon style goals that you can only figure out by starting to complete it. So if the secret objective is to collect four pieces of copper, then you'll figure that out the moment you pick up your first piece of copper.

There's also a leveling system which determines what missions you are able to take on.

I got the game even though it didn't look very good to me, for my nephews to play with me (though there are some minor issues that I don't appreciate for them, such as realistic body part movements... I'll leave it at that), but I ended up liking it more than they did I think. lol

As for where I was: I was at the camp, where you always go after a mission, but before that I was in the Save Ironside mission I believe.

What I was doing: In the camp, nothing. In the mission, saving eight hostages within the time limit.

Will I come back to it: Definitely. I would love to play it now, but my nephews want me to only play it with them so I can't get in there very often. They want me to wait because they don't want me getting leveled up really high and picking up powerful weapons and armor without them.

I recommend checking the game out sometime. It's a lot of fun if you enjoy games like it.

Last game I played was "Castlevania: Sonata in Red".

I recommended it, since I'm about 15 hours into it and still haven't beat it.

It's made in RPG Maker, here's where you can get it:

I have been getting back into smite again. I originally quit because I started experiencing a lot of lag on the PS4 version and I got more into Overwatch but after trying out on steam it's like I've been sucked into it all over again especially since I'm experiencing a lot less lag there. Have to start over though since I can't transfer my mastery levels, skins or god pack to the steam version so that sucks, but otherwise I'm having fun.

The last game I played was Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I can say without a doubt that it's the best open world video game of all time. I decided to get back to playing it after spending a good portion of April playing Persona 5 on PS4.

The last game I played was called Hitogappa Happa (available on Steam). I got the game in a bundle with other games like Gundemonium Recollection, Acceleration of SUGURI, GundeadliGne and Diadra Empty, so I kind of expected it to be kind of similar to the other games, but... well, I guess I'm just really bad at playing Hitogappa Happa. rofl I started the game a while back and realized I would need more time to be able to play the game properly, so earlier, I sat down to challenge the game again but I must be doing something wrong in the game because each time I would get to the boss that waves its arms at you, I would die as soon as it started to blast some pink and purple orbs all over the screen. I do try to dodge the colorful orbs (it's a bullet-shooting type of game), but somehow they always get me, or maybe there's something I'm forgetting to do when that happens...? When I reach that boss, I usually still have all of my Bombs intact, but when the pink and purple orbs appear, I usually don't have time to detonate them. As with most games, I don't intend to read any guides, or use any cheats or anything (yep, that might sound like the old school way of playing games, but it's what I'm most used to), but so I'm just going to try to find a way to get through this the best I can. It still sort of puzzles me why I haven't had many issues with getting through Gundemonium Recollection and Diadra Empty but I keep getting stuck in Hitogappa Happa, at that one boss no less... lol I've tried at least 5 times now to get past that level to no avail, and that doesn't tend to happen to me too much for these types of games. If it's any indication how badly I've been doing in Hitogappa Happa... I pretty much use up all 11 or so dolls that they give me and each game (time until I see the Game Over screen) pretty much lasts only 7 or so minutes... ^^0;; Yep, feel free to laugh... lol

I went back and just got Bad News Baseball for NES. It is the superior Nintendo baseball game and outclasses the more popular RBI Baseball. I don't know why the difference in opinion since Bad News Baseball allows for diving fielders, better throws and more responsive hitting, and a better AI for the other team. And there are rabbits for umpires. Who doesn't want rabbits being umpires?

The last game I played was Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It's living up to my expectations. The improvements to battle mode in battle mode in particular makes Mario Kart 8 Deluxe the best in the series. If you're thinking about buying a Switch, Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are absolute must buys for the system.

I last played Superhot. It wasn't quite what I expected, honestly, I found it a little disappointing.

The last game I played was Harvest Moon: A New Beginning. I have to admit, it's probably the best Harvest Moon game since Back To Nature (and I include Friends of Mineral Town in that, since it's almost a direct port, minus the minor story changes, added fishing features and such). It takes Harvest Moon and mixes in some building game elements, which is cool, but not what makes it so good. It has a lot of new features like fish traps, various field types, paddies, and so on. You can even cut down trees finally.

However it suffers from how laborious it makes every single day in the game. It takes me probably three or four minutes of non-stop work around the farm, and the tasks get old really fast. It manages to escape the overly long days pitfall that the series has been so horribly plagued by since A Wonderful Life, but not by making the days as short as they should be. Rather it accounts for the extended length of days by adding to your workload. Now Harvest Moon is a game about farming, and I've long complained about how they're making it focus less on farmer life simulation and more about dating. However, I didn't mean that they should make us work in such long and repetitious ways. There's a difficult balance to land here, and A New Beginning doesn't quite hit it right. Still, it's an improvement nonetheless.

The characters are kind of a mixed bag honestly. So far I've found three of them that I like more than I've liked any Harvest Moon character since the 64-BTN/FoMT cast, but I've also found four that I just can't bring myself to like at all. In fact at least one of them I just plain can't stand.
Hopefully once I get more people to move into town they fall on the good side and not the bad, since it's split almost 50/50 Right now

I do like how I can build in this game. Being able to make a new refrigerator or a new shed, field, town decorations, etc. is really awesome. The only downside is that it introduces a ridiculous amount of different materials to gather and make. Harvest Moon has a really bad habit of doing that, and has had since Friends of Mineral Town: giving you several materials or items and making five or six minor variations of each of them. So annoying. Why can I not make sashimi out of a small fish? Why can I not use several small lumber pieces to make a shed instead of only large pieces? etc.

What I was doing: tending to my cows.
Where I was: in my pasture, if it could be called that.
Will I play again: definitely. However, due to the labor being so overwhelming, I have to take it in short bursts.

I havent had a whole lot of time to game these days, but I have been trying to get back into Terraria again. A game that is cool, but only seems to hold my interest for short periods of time.

This time around I've actually gotten into it a lot more than I have in the past but I'm not sure how much longer I will get into it. Maybe if I can find an active online sever, it would hold my interest more.

The last few games I have been playing have all been brilliant.  I starting to build up my xbox 1 library.  Most recent.....Image result for farcry primal.  Have enjoyed the whole series and Farcry 3 is my favorite game ever....I had bout this for the PC but as with the whole series....it's just not the same as a console plus it can get extremely annoying on the PC with the movement.  Image result for the divisionThis one is extremely addictive and with just the right amount of difficulty....it's cool how they actually come at you....you can't just chill in one spot and take em' all out.  I'm having trouble putting this one down to focus on the new GF game coming in.  Image result for preyI haven't played it but it will be here shortly from GF...I just got lucky gettin' it so soon.  I'll let y'all know.  Lastly...but most certainly not least.....Image result for watch dogs 2Watch Dogs 2.....just awesome....soundtrack is killer.  Enjoy them all....y'all.

Assault Android Cactus. It's a twin stick shooter with a story about a ship that essentially turns on it's crew and causes the robots to revolt. The Androids, having independent cores, are unaffected, and take it upon themselves to stop the section lords that are controlling the revolution, and save what crew is left.

It's actually a really great game. It was up for "Vote To Play" last year sometime, meaning that the PlayStation gamers got to vote on what they received as a PS+ game. It's competition was either Armello (another great game) or Action Henk, and... Broforce. :| Somehow Broforce won. Few things make less sense in life than that, but whatever. lol

Where I was: in the boss room of what I believe was the final boss.

What I was doing: losing to what I believe is the final boss. lol

Will I go back to it: Definitely. I have to finish this game!

The last game I played was Tetris Battle Gaiden. I love Tetris games, so even though this one was sort of difficult at times (in my opinion, it had a fairly steep learning curve), I did my best to try to learn how to play it and actually managed to finish the game while playing as the character called Halloween. Before I shut off the game, I was trying out the other characters like Princess and Ninja because all of the characters have more or less unique skills/abilities, many of which can dramatically change the outcomes of the battles. =)

The last game I played was Sailor Moon Super S - Floating Panic (English Translation) (SNES). I started with Story Mode (Sailor Moon's story), and quickly found out some of the Sailor scouts are a bit more difficult to challenge. lol Even so, I look forward to playing through all of the stories for each character. =)
