With over 45 copy abilities in the Kirby franchise, which one is your favorite and least favorite and why? Do you have a fond moment with one or do you just despise another? Let me know by replying.

Well, since you made the thread, I think that you should give your 2 cents on the question.

My favorite is probably the Hammer. It is super useful as it breaks some walls, those bash buttons, and can be used underwater in some of the Kirby games. In Kirby's Super Star, that charge swing is insanely powerful. Can beat a lot of bosses in a couple hits. 

My least favorite is the Sleep Ability. All it does is puts you in trouble.

Okay... I guess I could I say I like the Fighting ability and the Beam ability. I like the Beam ability, because in Super Star/Ultra, you can pretty much fire a "HADOUUUKEN!", and using the Fighting ability, you can do the "SHORYUUKEN!" My least favorite, I guess the same thing with the bottom post, the Sleep ability, and the same reason. So, yeah, I guess this is my opinion on it.

my favorite is the fighting ability because it have cool fighting moves and least is the sleeping ability which is completely useless. 

The parasol (umbrella) was my favorite. It was a great weapon, a shield, and you could float.

The most useless?  The sword one never impressed me.

I guess I should put I my two cents. My favorites are UFO because it's just a combination of laser and beam plus you can fly which is always cool, and fire/Ice/electric sword just because they are the coolest thing around. I gotta stick up for sleep though. It's not totally useless. In squeak squad the scroll allows you to regain health which is always nice. But my least favorite is metal; yeah it makes you invincible, but it makes you move so slow and you can't swim with it at all.  

my favorite is yo-yo, you can devastate ANYTHING around your perimeter. my least favorite non-sleep ability is stone. usually everytime i use it in super-star i only end up getting hurt too.

Kirby abilities:

Overall Favorite: Parasol, I just like gently floating and the overhead shield it gives you

2nd Favorite: Ninja only on normal levels, its very versatile and while not very effective on bosses, I like the challenge of using it strategically

3rd Favorite: Bomb, I like the dash attack

Least Favorite: Whip(Return to Dreamland)its attacks are too weak making it not very effective on bosses, I also don't like any of its attacks seeing as they don't really help all that much

On the Sleep ability:

You don't like it because its not useful...? That's the point, its not suppose to be useful, its pretty much an obstacle for 1st time newbie players or punishment for recklessly sucking up enemies. The obstacle thing is kind of brought home in Return to Dreamland(Adventure Wii)when the actually do use the ability stand as a hazard on Collapsing platforms over a bottomless pit.

My favorite Kirby copy ability is probably the Yo-Yo or Beam. Beam was very helpful for me in Kirby Super Star and Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, and Yo-Yo was very helpful during a lot of segments, mostly Revenge of Meta Knight.

johnr754 : you know yo-yo really was boss in that level. The wheel part at the end of Meta knights revenge was pretty epic though.

Kiodahawk : Oh, the wheel part was really nice and somewhat tactical, too! Wheel, by itself, is not the greatest, but it fits good in segments designed for Wheel. Yo-Yo also seemed to have a nice impact upon Meta Knight's Revenge.

johnr754 : Yeah like wheel is terrible for boss fights, but it is incorporated into so many levels that it's an important copy ability plus it makes a sort of slow game a much faster one. Yo-yo was pretty great through every level if you could hang on to it. I remember being the arena with yo-yo without much a problem.

Kiodahawk : Yeah, Wheel is very impractical in boss fights, and almost any segment not designed for it - heck, even some segments designed for it are better off without it! The Jet ability is also another not-so-good ability.

My favorite copy ability has to be Parasol. It has so much uses! My least favorite has to be Wing, I wasn't very good at maneuvering that ability.

Oh, man...my favorite ability is the Mike. I laugh every time he has the mohawk and does the final erm.....thing.

My greatest preferred ability of exactness of the video game character of Kirby must be Wheel as my least preferred ability of exactness of the video game character of Kirby must be Cutter. Considering I am unable to recall the majority of the abilities, I am certain Cutter is one of the abilities I least prefer.

First, this should probably be in the Metroid and Kirby forum. Second, I believe that a thread like this already exists in that forum.

Local Mods :

I would say that my favorite is Hammer kirby because of strength. (With a close 2d being Plasma) My least favorite is Ouch Kirby. (Copy Kirby)

One of my favorites is the plasma from Super Star. Another one of my favorites was the mirror ability from Super Star.

My least favorite? The sweep/broom ability.
