Rasen, I agree with your point for the VC but I think the problem is with this. So I have a freind in Sweden named Tim and he can't download ROMS due to how the Swedish government looks at the internet actvivty, and he has to buy the roms.
And for runescape123, I believe the homebrew channel allows for DS games to be played.

My point is if you are paying for it it should be better and superior to what is available free, not limited and inferior.

the wii still has a few years to redeem itself. resi evil 4? madworld? supermariogalaxy? brawl? all exceptional games. lately there've been quite a few good wii games and i think there are more to come what with the addition of the wiimotionplus.

I cant stand the controls for Wii games, as I have mentioned before.
Granted there is a small amount of games that are ok, but most are for children and family, not for hardcore gamers.
I would like to see more games like Muramasa come out, that have some difficulty and where you can use an actual controller instead.
Even the games creators admit that the controller option is better, stating they put it in for "precision players".
Are we forgetting video games are for lazing about to play while sports and outdoor activitys are there for exercise?
I say stop this motion nonsense, its just a stupid gimmick, go back to proper game controls.

Well i personaly think the wii is OK My uncle got use one for Christmas last year and a bunch of games. I Think it was all about 200-300 dollars. I have only played the wii about 23 times and the games got boring after about playing each of them for about 4 hours. I did love the wii sport resort and mario kart games and still play them when i get the chance. but all in all i dont think i should be that pricey it was not actually that cool and if you want to spend that kind of money then do it on PSP or DS games (PS This is what i think of it dont hate mail me please)

There are like 3 new awesome games for the wii coming out (one out already)
mario and sonic at the winter games (out now!)
New super mairo bros (also out now)
AND SUPER MARIO GALAXY 2 (OUT FEB 2010)
and SMG1 GOT 9.5
maybe this game will get 10 (after a long time)

WOW, THREE GAMES! Seriously, compare that to the 360 or PS3 and you just get raped by them. And I'm sorry but Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games was an awful game and New Super Mario Bros Wii is just the same thing with a new level or two plus a multiplayer mode.

I voted yes mainly because of its lack of RPGs :/

Other than that, it doesn't really bother me. I do think it's smart of them, though, to make a game that makes you exercise. People that normally wouldn't get out that play that at least get a little exercise.

Having a console for one or two good games is pointless, especially in the Wiis case, one might as well just find something like it on another console that has more of that specific game achetype.

I think the idea was good but shouldn't have been so exclusive. It shouldn't have been built solely around the controller and the games designed for it. Give the more adult/serious gamers some game variety and it would have been a great system.

As is I wouldn't buy any of the consoles.... but I haven't enjoyed console gaming for a while now.
