In my opinion I like family guy more because of the jokes style and character's like stewie and peter ,but the Simpson's I like because there one of?the most?original shows ever and they have over 26 seasons like wow pretty impressive, and well the catch phrases like eat my shorts but still I prefer family guy because I've watch it since I've been seven years old.

I've been watching the Simpsons since I was around 10 years old so like 23 years, and while I no longer look forward to new episodes it is a classic that is hard to beat.  Family Guy practically owes it's existence to the Simpsons while being a good show in its own right.  I'll just say I really can't pick a favorite, they are both funny and I like em' both.

I like The Simpsons why  because they are timeless, While Family Guy is over played on Fox, TBS,  and Cartoon Network/{adult swim)  I think that the Simpsons will out Last family guy in years to come,  I mean the Simpsons are in their 26th season while Family Guy in its 12 season. The Simpsons have so  great epis that wodes, while Family Guy  the best episdoes were the Star wars and in my opinopn  that  was a (c+)

The Simpsons is better hands down!

Family Guy seems annoying and weird to me when I tried watching one episode of it. It just didn't really interest me like it did for everyone else. I just didn't find it funny at all.

The Simpsons on the other hand, you can actually relate by the morals it gives you through a character's mistakes or whatever happened in an episode. They reflect on a character's personality and how they play a role whether it would be public or at a home. They also give lots of comedy that have me laughing for a while until I can get back to normal. A show with a mix of comedy and life lessons is a great show which is what the Simpsons is.

The Simpsons is still airing with 26 seasons straight and still going!
