I just got a new Xbox 360 but i dont have a gold card yet for online play. So i wanna get games for offline play. And i would like to know witch ones are the best for offline play. so can you tell me witch ones i should get ???

I think this should be in Vizzed Market because you're buying something. But you should try the Lego games. They're actually pretty fun. This means LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Lord of the Rings...

I would say Skyrim, that will keep you occupied for quite a while, but if you aren't one for fantasy, Saints Row The Third is good.

The Halo campaigns are really fun. In some cases I actually play more of the campaign than multi player. I suggest either Halo 3 or Halo Reach, they are very fun and both share a smooth gameplay. Halo 4 is just as good but there are certain occasions where you would just get really bored. If you eventually get Xbox Live then I suggest either Halo 4 or Halo Reach since they have the most online players. The only other game I can think of would be Skyrim, the campaign lasts for hours and hours, however it is fun to play.

The Mass Effect trilogy, Mirror's Edge, Velvet Assassin, Star Ocean: The Last Hope..

And a very underrated one, Alpha Protocol. It's an espionage RPG. It tries way too hard to be Mass Effect, but it's actually fun.

I think really best should be the line between quality and expected play time.
to that end skyrim is a no brainer, its cheap-ish now, and takes forever to complete.
Looking at others suggestions i would recommend not buying some of them.
I will say off the bat im not a halo fan but as far as im aware the campaigns arent that long or replayable.
Gta v is great but once you've completed it, its not great fun without online. I reckon you could complete it in less than a week.

Assasins creed games can be fun, although they are all fairely similar, and in my experience they get old, realfast.
NHL or fifa, i dont play sport games, but they are certainly very popular and people on my friends list always play them, although i think they might be playing online, so yeh.

Gta iv, i really didnt like, and the online sucked, so id recommend not buying it. Bully was fun but repetitive. red dead redemption is a great choice, cheap, good long campaign, very fun, and when you get online, its very good.
LA Noire gets very dry, i did like one mission a day for a few weeks, never played for months, then finally completed it. I wouldnt recommend it (unless you have a lot of free money).
Mass effect trilogy is absolutely fantastic, and decisions in each game effect you in the next ones. If you do get it i would mention the 1st one has a lot of crappy features which may put you off, the 2nd and 3rd are far better.

If I were you id look at the cheap old ones, you could get 3 or 4 great games for the price of 1 new one.

Mass Effect series, Borderlands series, Halo Reach or Halo 4, Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas are some really good ones.

Red dead redemption if you was ever a fan of westerns.

You could get the Banjo Kazooie games-the first two, anyway. They could provide some entertainment, unless they are not your sort. In which case, try Minecraft-endless entertainment for hours.

I honestly prefer my GTA on the Playstation consoles they just correspond better with those consoles but anyways on to the point.

I've heard great things about Dead Space, Dead Rising, and The Walking Dead. Lots of Deads.
