No i completely understand everyone's point of view here.

Sometimes I play a game simply to power through and destroy everything so I get attached to maybe like the 2 strongest I use since they can sweep everything.

On the same hand though, I also like when i take the time to search out and build the team of my favorites.

I have no mercy or love for my HM slaves though

How did I not respond to this thread?

I get attached to my Starter- terribly attached. The thing never leaves my party.

I do get attached to a few Pokes in my party.

The rest are there just to help me get past certain parts, or to fill up my Dex.

I used to train Pokemon forever. And forever ago.

I recently quit this, because I thought that it was kind of boring at first. So I just battle trainers and sometimes hack my way through the game because I was bored.

I only get attached to a pokemon That i really care for and it does not happen through training it just happens (for me at least) by constantly using the pokemon

Tip:if you ever want to make your bond with your pokemon even stronger just play a nuzlocke trust me you will have to get attached to survive

The Pokemon I had a bond with when I was younger was my level 100 Blaziken in Emerald named Blaze.  Blaze was my first and only legit level 100 so it had a special place in my heart.  That and because it swept the Elite Four in one hit besides when I got to Wallace.

There are a few Pokémon that I always get attached to during my games. Blaziken, hands down is one of them. I set up all my games so I can start with a Torchic in my party. Others usually remind me of the characters in my novel, and since I'm attached to them in the story, I get attached to their counterparts as well.
