And to update my response since it's been awhile... I might have to go with the head Greybeard in Skyrim. That guy has so much knowledge... I could move there, and still be learning new things until the day that I died.

Well, I can't really think of any father figures that hasn't already been said, but I do have a couple of examples of somebody I would NOT want as a father. A father and son, both from the same game:

Heihachi Mishima from the Tekken series - throws his own son down a cliff to toughen him up. Then throws him down a volcano out of spite. He makes it his life's work to try and destroy his own son for the entire series. No thanks.

Kazuya Mishima also from the Tekken series - he may not have done anything to his son like his father did to him, but Kazuya's revenge aspirations are the very reason that his son, Jin, turns against him, making Jin turn into a devil. Again, no thank you.
