i like earthworm jim and streets of rage

I'm disappointed in all of you.
No one has said Landstalker yet. Sure I like other games but it's not hard for me to say which one is my all time favorite. That's Landstalker. It's like an RPG, or it could be just an action-adventure game.

But it's a great game. The controls are a little hard to get used to at first but it's a really great game. Sure some say it's a rip-off of Zelda but I think it's unique on it's own that it's not. Sure Nigel is an elf(88 years old) and Friday is his fairy partner(she looks more like a demonic fairy which is cool!). But the story is good and as is the gameplay. There's lot of puzzles and some can get challenging, especially anything to do with jumping.

Basic plot is Nigel is a treasure hunter, he comes across Friday fleeing from some people because she has knowledge of the Treasures of King Nole, not exactly where it is but knows the area it is in, and so he saves her and they go on an adventure to find the treasure. Along the way Nigel helps people out, etc. It's a pretty good game.

Yeah I think with a lot of the games back then on the sega its more of a nostalgic factor than actual quality....but sayin that sonic is da fishiznit...and lion king..hardest game EVER!

General Chaos was an awesome game that took skills and planning into account.

I gotta admit, I was a huge fan of Comix Zone. I also loved Earthworm Jim and Toejam and Earl 2. And of course the Sonic series was great, but that basically goes without saying.

My favorite Sega Genesis game is Nhlpa 93. BLEEDING HEADS ARE AWESOME.

As a kid, I loved the Streets of Rage games. I just thought the graphics for the time were amazing and the story was fun. These were also one of the few games I did better at than a lot of my friends. However, if I had to choose a single Sega Genesis game as my all time favorite, it would have to be Kid Chameleon. I still think it is and was one of the funnest games available.

Sonic 3D Blast & Shining Force for me. I didn't play too much from that console but those would be my favorite.

Mine would either be "ToeJam & Earl in Panic on Funkotron" or Wonderboy in Monsterworld (I'm not sure if it has the same name in America?)

Definitely Phantasy Star IV. I loved that game...great plot, great characters, great battle system. I also loved Sonic and Knuckles hooked up with Sonic 3. Getting Hyper Characters was crazy-cool!

Golden Axe 2, Shadowrun and Shining Force 2. I spent countless hours playing those games. And Shinobi: Revenge of the Ninja Master was a great one too.

I have to agree with many...there are way too many to choose from.

my favorite sega genesis game. that's a hard one. i would have to pick between golden axe, ecco the dolphion, sonic the hedgehoge and sonic 3D blast.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles, definitely. I liked the multiple endings depending on the character, and the extended ending for Sonic.

Favourite game on the Genesis/Mega Drive was Story of thor/Beyond oasis, I can't seem to find it anywhere anymore, not even in a store that deals in old games and systems

My favorate sega genesis game would have to be ys 3

My favorite game from the Genesis has to be.....Ariel the Little Mermaid! Just kidding it's Sonic the Hedgehog because I love that game.

My favourite is definitely Sonic the hedgehog, It's a classic of all the SEGA systems.
